We were greeted with a warm welcome as one of the staff members told us about the history of their restaurant. I had the Swamp Daddy, which was loaded with toppings (shrimp, crayfish, crab, tasso, and more). My son had the Carribean Chicken, which had a very fresh lighter taste (but very flavorful) for a pizza. Both were excellent as well as the garlic breadsticks.“

“I made a last-minute decision to pick up a small pizza for the first time yesterday. The manager was very friendly and helpful in suggesting I try the garlic butter drizzle. My pizza was ready in less than 15 minutes and was absolutely amazing! My husband ate some of it last night and loved it just as much as I did. Definitely will be returning! My only advice would be to post a menu from which to order at the drive-thru.“

“Checked out the new Bistro Italia location and we loved it! We ordered the tomato basil soup, Big Lou pizza, Shrimp Primavera, and Diablo shrimp. Everything came out hot, was delicious and you could tell the ingredients were fresh! The team was friendly, the atmosphere was upscale but still very comfortable, and the prices are very reasonable (sharing the menu pics for anyone curious). The updated restaurant is beautifully done. Also love that it’s a family owned and run restaurant.“

“A favorite dish: The Krewe Calzone. It's cooked to perfection; I haven't had one yet that was burned on the bottom like most other open oven pizzerias, so I'm always impressed with their food. They run specials, so be sure to ask. Caution: their calzone special is $8, not 1/2 off as twice I'd been told by 2 different waiters on 2 different occasions, so when you get your bill, don't be surprised, as bringing this up to the checkout person/manager(?) will get you nowhere. Other than that, and the reason for the 4 stars and not 5, it was a great dining out experience. I'd recommend for excellent ambiance, value, taste, family friendly convenient location. Accessibility: handicapped parking at front entrance with wheelchair access, small curb for mobility impaired

“It was a perfect day with my grandsons! There was coupon on the website and the boys had an hour to play UNLIMITED games for around $22.00 each. When they won "tickets" the tickets posted to a plastic playing card. The card was so convenient. Then at the end of the hour we "cashed" out the "tickets" for toys and one saved his "tickets" for another time. Very affordable, clean, friendly staff and the pizza and salad bar wasn't too bad.“

“During our last visit, they made a pepperoni pizza instead of stuffed pepperoni bread as listed on the receipt. My husband went in and pointed it out. In less than 9 minutes, we had the stuffed bread and we also kept the pizza!!

“This Perkins location is just as good as the Lee Drive store. Service was excellent, pizza came out quick, hot, and delicious. I ordered shortly before closing and the staff was still friendly and courteous when I arrived. One of the best take out experiences I've ever had. Definitely will be using them again.“

“It was hot and fresh and they let us wait in the car while they made everything and then brought it out to us when it was ready. Friendly staff and decent service. My only complaint would probably be that they were a little slow with the order, but it was hot and everything was right so we didn't mind the extra little wait. They did tell us they had a big order coming in that was putting them a bit behind so we were aware. What is in my picture is what was left of our order - even leftover it was still decent! “Had a group of 50 highschoolers complete a community service project. They asked for Papa John's pizza as their prize! I called several and two locations were so rude and not willing to help. I called this location FIRST try...Eric Collins was so HELPFUL and EFFICIENT. I hope someone gives this man a raise. He made the transaction effortless, smooth, and top notch customer service. Eric if you read this you just made one mom so proud that you care about students and the schools in our parish. I appreciate you more than you know! “I've been going to Newks for years. They have great salads, soups, sandwiches, and pizzas. My favorite items are the Lobster Bisque and the Newks Q Pizza. They also have great dessert, try their caramel cake you won't be disappointed.“
