We were greeted with a warm welcome as one of the staff members told us about the history of their restaurant. I had the Swamp Daddy, which was loaded with toppings (shrimp, crayfish, crab, tasso, and more). My son had the Carribean Chicken, which had a very fresh lighter taste (but very flavorful) for a pizza. Both were excellent as well as the garlic breadsticks.“

“A favorite dish: The Krewe Calzone. It's cooked to perfection; I haven't had one yet that was burned on the bottom like most other open oven pizzerias, so I'm always impressed with their food. They run specials, so be sure to ask. Caution: their calzone special is $8, not 1/2 off as twice I'd been told by 2 different waiters on 2 different occasions, so when you get your bill, don't be surprised, as bringing this up to the checkout person/manager(?) will get you nowhere. Other than that, and the reason for the 4 stars and not 5, it was a great dining out experience. I'd recommend for excellent ambiance, value, taste, family friendly convenient location. Accessibility: handicapped parking at front entrance with wheelchair access, small curb for mobility impaired

“These guys at this store on Sullivan road are great. They work hard and they are efficient. They are overloaded and still doing a great job don't just thank the nurses Tha k the people feeding you and your family when you coukdnt get to a store before it closed or had no time or energy to cook. They stay open later than anyone and keep you from having to eat crap jack box. If sobsthings wrong they make it right no problems. There are good people in there.“

“It was a perfect day with my grandsons! There was coupon on the website and the boys had an hour to play UNLIMITED games for around $22.00 each. When they won "tickets" the tickets posted to a plastic playing card. The card was so convenient. Then at the end of the hour we "cashed" out the "tickets" for toys and one saved his "tickets" for another time. Very affordable, clean, friendly staff and the pizza and salad bar wasn't too bad.“

“Just left the Ferndale location. The server was quite uninviting and inattentive but Rick(who i believe was the chef) was amazing. Brought us plates and silverware, cleaned up my daughter’s spilt water, bussed our table and even packed our leftovers in a box. Tried to leave him a tip and he refused to accept. He’s wonderful and y’all are lucky to have him! Food was good as always“

“I've been going to Newks for years. They have great salads, soups, sandwiches, and pizzas. My favorite items are the Lobster Bisque and the Newks Q Pizza. They also have great dessert, try their caramel cake you won't be disappointed.“

“I order at least three times or four times a month all the condiments are placed in the center of the pizza around the ends are burnt and dried out crust what's up charged for for the Philly cheese steak pizza and it was burnt all around the edges and very dry so disappointed after mention it to the store no compensation was open only thing was said was okay man we get it right this time so I won't be ordering Domino's I think I'll go back to Pizza Hut“

“Honestly one of the best fast pizza places in baton rouge! They have never gotten my order wrong once. Very speedy in making it & they have a drive thru line so you don’t have to get out of the car. The workers are also very friendly and willing to add anything else to your order if possible.“

For ME a good pizza by BR standards has to have a chewy bread crust, ALOT of cheese, a nice portion of the meat, some veggies, and cooked well done. The other pizzeria's could never get it right no matter how often I tried to correct it. Never enough cheese, normally a light crust, and thin. IMO the other's Pizzas are Underwhelming.

Now I do have to push every cheese and every extra cheese button on the order screen and ask for it to be well done, but they do get it right every time. Everyone is friendly even when it is a little crazy inside. Thanks“

“We were on the way home from a softball game, and decided at the last minute to stop in at Papa John's. Pulled up front, went in and were greeted by a very friendly crew. Took our order . We had our Pizza in 10-12 minutes. Everything cooked to perfection. It's great to see a group of employees that actually enjoy their job“
