“Inflation is real. I hadn’t been in here in 3 plus years so man oh man have I been living under a rock.

Anyway, the food is still pretty solid (been here several times in the last decade). It’s mildly westernized bc the slice of carrots, radish are pretty thick by Vietnamese standards (note: I was in HCMC back in March 2025—HoChiMinh City). The chargrilled pork was 1/4th charred compared to the motherland but still solid in flavor. $14 for chicken spring rolls? Seemed pricey but they are super thick so not as shocking. I could have ordered two for $7.

Overall, $19 for a plate is pricey for the Westbank and would have thought I was uptown where rent is 2x. Idk. The volume is good for the price but I guess inflation is warping my perception. Overall, I still enjoyed the food and recommend them still esp if this is the new norm.“

“AMAZING PHO!!!! Even though I’ve moved away from New Orleans, I always make it a point to come back and visit this place. I always order the tofu pho with beef broth and load it up with chili oil. Over the past five years, I’ve lost count of how many times I’ve been here. Unfortunately, I’ve never been able to find anything like it in any other state I’ve visited... :( HIGHLY recommend!!!“

“I was about ready to give up on finding good vegan food in New Orleans… then I found MINT Modern Vietnamese Bistro & Bar, and wow — they really came through.

The mushroom and tofu pho? Easily the best I’ve ever had — super flavorful, loaded with fresh toppings, and so satisfying. The tofu bánh mì was huge, fresh, and packed with flavor. The tofu and tomato bowl was hearty and filling, and the fried tofu spring rolls? Perfection.

The portions are big, the prices are fair, and they have a great variety of vegan options. I’m so glad a place like this exists here — I’ll definitely be back (probably way too often).“

“Very nice restaurant, the Pho was good but not excellent. The soup was just ok, but the meat/ round was good. I have tasted better Pho than this restaurant. The size of the bowl was ok, not as large as other pho restaurants. The price of the soup was on the higher side because of the location. Overall experience was good. “Found this little gem and it is now one of my favorite places! My daughter and I rarely go to one place for a full meal and opt to choose a place for apps, main course and dessert. We arrived around 12 and ordered spring rolls and brisket steamed buns… when I tell you this is the best I have had of both and we have had our share of bao and spring rolls!!!
The brisket was mouth watering tender with this sweet perfection of sauce, the buns PERFECTLY steamed and the spring rolls were rolled to perfection with the best peanut sauce. We got it to go, but it looked so amazing we didn’t make it out of the door. Their Thai tea was also some of the best I have ever had! Honestly the place was so good we came back that evening for the same thing!! Give this place a try, the service was top tier and it’s definitely my new go to!“

“my girlfriend and i always order the chicken Pho [we order the same thing every week, unfortunately dong have pics of it becasue i just have to stuff my face] but yesterday i went pick up our food and before picking up i called. i placed my order and it was funny because she called me marie instead of my govn’t name. when i got there, the owner and i laughed because of the mixed names. got on the subject of her liking my tattoo and she started telling me how her tattoo on her back is for her son Michael. my heart shattered and i honestly had tears in my eyes because the way she spoke so beautiful about how this was his dream and she wanted to do this for him was truly beautiful. we got on another subject of why i LOVE this restaurant so much!! yall, they make this broth sun up to sun down so it’s fresh for you! i can have dreams about this pho because of how yummy it is!! everyone needs to go try it! the people who work there are very sweet! great atmosphere!“

“This place has been here for years. My first ever bubble tea/ milk tea and the best I've had even to this day (I highly recommend the sweet redbean with coconut milk. It tastes just like sweet cereal milk 💕) PhoNola has my favorite pho after trying SEVERAL restaurants, (I always get meatball pho with extra limes), best ever báhn mì, (I LOVE their pate, so rich and flavorful. Bread is PERFECT, crispy on the outside, light and fluffy on the inside. I get grilled pork with extra pate/aioli.) And although my fiancé is quite finicky with food, he really enjoys the flavorful fried rice with shrimp, the pan fried dumplings with really yummy dipping sauce, and his favorite are the pork belly steamed rice buns (hold the veggies). I've had a wonderful experience with pleasant and helpful staff and delicious food here for years and would absolutely say PhoNola is the best Vietnamese Restaurant in Metairie 💜“

“Legit Bahn Mi, the only person working was slammed busy, they were understaffed but she was efficient and courteous, she deserves better.

Food was delicious, the bread was absolutely on point with the perfect texture with really good ratios of meat to pickled veggies.

Doesn't take too long for the order to be ready. Limited parking spots but there isn't usually a big line or anything so it should be fine. “Ate here for the first time today. And I must say, their pho is amazing. I had shrimp pho and their broth is the best I’ve had. Not too much cinnamon or anise flavor. Which a lot of places do. My daughter had the pork chop platter and it was also very good. Atmosphere is great, very clean environment and our waitress with the nose ring was very fun and polite.
