“Really nice trio of young men working in there this evening. Took my picky daughter in and they made her a custom smoothie she enjoyed. They had a few people in line and they rotated us through quickly and efficiently each doing a task and got us in out and fast. They were all super courteous. I asked 2 of them their names, Dominic and Mikey...not sure what the other name was.. he was blending another smoothie as when we were leaving. Just wanted to give a shout out to them all as they were all great. Job well done Smoothie King! We'll be back.”

The king cakes are absolutely amazing and are the closest I have found to those classic McKenzies cakes we all loved (and yes, I have tried the “old recipe” versions as Tastee in Metairie.) Walking in causes the memories to come flooding back, the air even feels the same inside. Highly recommended”

The building is unique and gorgeous, the staff is extremely friendly.”

The service is just right, not too in your face but not going to just abandon you either. We have tried different sushi places all over the area and there is always something lacking whether flavor service or consistency. Highly recommend!

Vegetarian options: You can get custom sushi but they have several rolls that would be vegetarian friendly.

Kid-friendliness: They have high chairs and a good kids menu, kids sushi is simple and comes with fruit.”

We went to several other Sushi places around mid afternoon, finding out that they were closed and wound up at Twin’s place. She also introduced us to a complementary Emory salad that was awesome! Try their birria tacos (they have specials on Thursdays for that for a discounted price.) The ahoggados are insane!!! YOU HAVE NEVER EATEN ANYTHING THIS DELICIOUS!! The horchata rice drink is super authentic and their hibiscus drink is sweet and refreshing. I could eat there everyday. Incredible. Thank me later. Don’t wait. Go now! 🤤”

My husband ordered a white chocolate mocha at the Madisonville location and after we were several miles down the road, tasted it and it was NOT a white chocolate mocha but regular coffee and cream. We were already in Mandeville before he realized so we went to the location near Girod. The baristas there made it right and made my husband the drink he should have gotten at the Madisonville location. We love the Mandeville location and will continue to go back because of the excellent customer service. 😊”
