“Really nice trio of young men working in there this evening. Took my picky daughter in and they made her a custom smoothie she enjoyed. They had a few people in line and they rotated us through quickly and efficiently each doing a task and got us in out and fast. They were all super courteous. I asked 2 of them their names, Dominic and Mikey...not sure what the other name was.. he was blending another smoothie as when we were leaving. Just wanted to give a shout out to them all as they were all great. Job well done Smoothie King! We'll be back.”

“Cherrybomb is probably my most frequented local business. I go about twice a week to take a break from my work from home routine. The thing about Cherrybomb is that no matter what you get the coffee/espresso flavor comes through even in a latte or flavored drink. I also want the staff to know I appreciate that they are consistent and friendly. I can see the culture is great there and it’s always a pleasure to stop in!”

My husband got the roast beef poboy and I got the goolosh off the breakfast menu, with a small taste of the red beans which was the special. Food was great, but even better was the service. Small relaxed interior and was greeted by 3 employees when we arrived. Server was friendly and owner came by to chat and give recommendations. If I lived close, I imagine I’d be a regular and they would end up my friends :).”

But a retired Pharmacist comes by daily and drops off plates of cheese, pickles, meat(not sure what it was, but it was smokey and good) and crackers. Try the local Amber beer. Pretty good.”

“A friend and I went to Reginelli’s for the first time this evening. We do believe our order was either lost or never sent to the kitchen when tables around us that arrived after we did were getting their food. However, as soon as another waitress and another person working there (I don’t know if he was the owner or the manager) noticed what was happening they both went above and beyond to make it right. Our food was delicious and we will be back.”

They take the time to get to know you, your orders and all around genuine respect for you and how you are. They will have drinks ready for ya upon arrival or even go the extra mile to deliver or even make a special delivery for you just because. They went as far as leaving a drink for me on 4th of July 2023 as they had just closed and missed my window and let me pick it up and Venmo them! They’re an amazing group and will 10/10 hands down recommend them!”

The owners are famous chefs from China. It’s not just Chinese food. It’s Chinese Cajun Creole Seafood and it’s ONE OF A KIND and AMAZING. The building is unique and gorgeous, the staff is extremely friendly.”

“Grew up on the Westbank with McKenzies king cakes and bakery goods. Had one I could ride my bike to and loved it Krummels reminds me of it so much! The king cakes are absolutely amazing and are the closest I have found to those classic McKenzies cakes we all loved (and yes, I have tried the “old recipe” versions as Tastee in Metairie.) Walking in causes the memories to come flooding back, the air even feels the same inside. Highly recommended”

The burrito was flavorful, with well-seasoned beef, and the queso complemented it perfectly. The beans were creamy with just a touch of cheese, and the rice was solid and satisfying. But the salsa really stood out — it had a nice sweetness from the tomatoes, great flavor overall, and just the right little kick.

We went to several other Sushi places around mid afternoon, finding out that they were closed and wound up at Twin’s place. She also introduced us to a complementary Emory salad that was awesome! We feel so very fortunate that we did end up there! We will absolutely be back!”

Egg rolls - it’s freshly fried. It’s kinda sweeter than the other egg rolls I’ve tried but I like sweet and salty so I like it.

Orange Chicken - it’s not as bad as what they’ve said on bad reviews. I can taste the chicken & I like it. I hope they put a little bit more orange flavor though.

Beef Lo Mein - I love it! I will come back for this lo mein! It’s flavorful & has a lot of meat.

My husband ordered a white chocolate mocha at the Madisonville location and after we were several miles down the road, tasted it and it was NOT a white chocolate mocha but regular coffee and cream. We were already in Mandeville before he realized so we went to the location near Girod. The baristas there made it right and made my husband the drink he should have gotten at the Madisonville location. We love the Mandeville location and will continue to go back because of the excellent customer service. 😊”
