“I got to try Healthy Portions at an event a few weeks ago and haven’t stopped thinking about going try a few more things since. Today I picked up their burger bowl & heart of palm lasagna and both were absolutely fantastic! Give this place a try if you haven’t yet. I can’t wait to do an online order in the near future 🥰”

“Very chill atmosphere, perfect for a date night. We had the sirloin, ribeye, au gratin potatoes, Brussel sprouts, key lime pie & bread pudding. 10/10 would order each dish again!”

“As many have noted, the food and service are exceptional. We have always enjoyed dining here. Unfortunately, we had to move indoors due to a sudden downpour. We were seated next to a large table which included an obnoxious male who did his best to be the center of attention for the entire room. He achieved this by yelling "boom!" repeatedly, dropping many f-bombs, and forcing everyone to listen to his inebriated, boring brags. All of this was done at full volume, while nobody attempted to reign him in so the rest of the room could enjoy dinner, or even have a conversation. I understand this is a delicate situation for restaurant staff, however, a manager should have handled it instead of allowing everyone else to suffer for one guys disrespectful behavior.”

“My wife and I went there for the first time last night and it was terrific. We were seated outside and there was a nice cool breeze and the music playlist was outstanding. The food was delicious and the chicken parmigiana was HUGE!! Our server (whose name unfortunately I can’t remember) was very friendly and attentive and did a great job. I highly recommended”

The service and food has never disappointed us. If I rated any establishment on only one experience whether bad or good I probably would never eat out because the people who prepare or serve us are only human and think about if someone rated you after only one experience and just so happens that day was an off day…….ponder on that for a while!”

“The chicken parmesan was great. Love seeing a lunch menu too. Having a great lunch with a cocktail is what adulting should be and having it for $25 is becoming impossible! Hers was a dressed meatball Poboy. Not on the menu but they did it for her! Will definitely be back and I want to go to the original one now too.”

“Really nice trio of young men working in there this evening. Took my picky daughter in and they made her a custom smoothie she enjoyed. They had a few people in line and they rotated us through quickly and efficiently each doing a task and got us in out and fast. They were all super courteous. I asked 2 of them their names, Dominic and Mikey...not sure what the other name was.. he was blending another smoothie as when we were leaving. Just wanted to give a shout out to them all as they were all great. Job well done Smoothie King! We'll be back.”

“I drive an hour and 1/2 to come to my favorite place. Such a sweet cozy atmosphere. The breakfast is healthy and delicious and the lovely ladies that take your order know you and remember what you love to eat. Its my favorite escape. Lots of homemade muffins, bread, snacks, fresh made salads(chicken/tuna. Cute nick nacks etc for sale. ❤️”

However, as soon as another waitress and another person working there (I don’t know if he was the owner or the manager) noticed what was happening they both went above and beyond to make it right. Our food was delicious and we will be back.”

“Grew up on the Westbank with McKenzies king cakes and bakery goods. Had one I could ride my bike to and loved it Krummels reminds me of it so much! The king cakes are absolutely amazing and are the closest I have found to those classic McKenzies cakes we all loved (and yes, I have tried the “old recipe” versions as Tastee in Metairie.) Walking in causes the memories to come flooding back, the air even feels the same inside. Highly recommended”

I recently had to pick up a large coffee and food order for an early morning meeting - at other coffee shops usually something goes wrong and isn't on time, is forgotten etc.... however this group had everything not only ready to go, but thoughtfully organized for transport and to make unpacking and finding everything easier. Great customer service and excellence in delivery are rare things these days - and this PJs has it in spades. Thank you Dove Park PJs team!!!”

We went to several other Sushi places around mid afternoon, finding out that they were closed and wound up at Twin’s place. She also introduced us to a complementary Emory salad that was awesome! “GREAT PLACE FOR DATE NIGHT! Trey Yuen has been rated one of the top restaurants in the country multiple times over the decades. You WILL NOT find a restaurant like this ANYWHERE. The owners are famous chefs from China. It’s not just Chinese food. It’s Chinese Cajun Creole Seafood and it’s ONE OF A KIND and AMAZING. The building is unique and gorgeous, the staff is extremely friendly.”

My husband ordered a white chocolate mocha at the Madisonville location and after we were several miles down the road, tasted it and it was NOT a white chocolate mocha but regular coffee and cream. We were already in Mandeville before he realized so we went to the location near Girod. The baristas there made it right and made my husband the drink he should have gotten at the Madisonville location. We love the Mandeville location and will continue to go back because of the excellent customer service. 😊”

“The sushi is fresh daily! I’ve seen their trucks delivering fresh fish all the time. The tonkatsu ramen is amazing and their poke rainbow bowl is delicious, filling, light and a great value. Their lunch boxes are the best deal in town. Can’t beat the food you get for the price. You get a salad, a soup, and an entree with veggies noodles rice and protein with gyoza for about 12-15$.”
