Today I picked up their burger bowl & heart of palm lasagna and both were absolutely fantastic! Give this place a try if you haven’t yet. I can’t wait to do an online order in the near future 🥰”

My problem came with the 3% credit card surcharge. I don't know how many customers pay cash, but I don't think the 60 cents was worth the loss of a customer.”

If I rated any establishment on only one experience whether bad or good I probably would never eat out because the people who prepare or serve us are only human and think about if someone rated you after only one experience and just so happens that day was an off day…….ponder on that for a while!”

“Went Halloween decor shopping today at Home Goods and had to stop in next door for a Crème Brûlée tea from UR teas. We walked up to the door and it was locked. The owner came and opened the door and said he was still there brewing so we could come in even though he just closed. He was super friendly and talked tea with us while making our drinks. If you’re ever out by this little gem you gotta stop in and give their Crème Brûlée tea a try. It’s my fav!”

“Really nice trio of young men working in there this evening. Took my picky daughter in and they made her a custom smoothie she enjoyed. They had a few people in line and they rotated us through quickly and efficiently each doing a task and got us in out and fast. They were all super courteous. I asked 2 of them their names, Dominic and Mikey...not sure what the other name was.. he was blending another smoothie as when we were leaving. Just wanted to give a shout out to them all as they were all great. Job well done Smoothie King! We'll be back.”

They take the time to get to know you, your orders and all around genuine respect for you and how you are. They will have drinks ready for ya upon arrival or even go the extra mile to deliver or even make a special delivery for you just because. They went as far as leaving a drink for me on 4th of July 2023 as they had just closed and missed my window and let me pick it up and Venmo them! They’re an amazing group and will 10/10 hands down recommend them!”

The owners are famous chefs from China. It’s not just Chinese food. It’s Chinese Cajun Creole Seafood and it’s ONE OF A KIND and AMAZING. The building is unique and gorgeous, the staff is extremely friendly.”

“Grew up on the Westbank with McKenzies king cakes and bakery goods. Had one I could ride my bike to and loved it Krummels reminds me of it so much! The king cakes are absolutely amazing and are the closest I have found to those classic McKenzies cakes we all loved (and yes, I have tried the “old recipe” versions as Tastee in Metairie.) Walking in causes the memories to come flooding back, the air even feels the same inside. Highly recommended”

We are Starbucks # fans for life:) we've tried Pj, Giddyup, nothing compares... 2 our Starbucks:) also, for her to call your name and look at you and know who you are in the coffee shop and their all-over attitudes is amazing. And for all of the negative reviews on here, I don't see it, please. Experience for yourself. Yes, they are taking on their location and another from being temporarily closed . “The sushi is fresh daily! I’ve seen their trucks delivering fresh fish all the time. The tonkatsu ramen is amazing and their poke rainbow bowl is delicious, filling, light and a great value. Their lunch boxes are the best deal in town. Can’t beat the food you get for the price. You get a salad, a soup, and an entree with veggies noodles rice and protein with gyoza for about 12-15$.”

We went to several other Sushi places around mid afternoon, finding out that they were closed and wound up at Twin’s place. She also introduced us to a complementary Emory salad that was awesome! We feel so very fortunate that we did end up there! We will absolutely be back!”

My husband ordered a white chocolate mocha at the Madisonville location and after we were several miles down the road, tasted it and it was NOT a white chocolate mocha but regular coffee and cream. We were already in Mandeville before he realized so we went to the location near Girod. The baristas there made it right and made my husband the drink he should have gotten at the Madisonville location. We love the Mandeville location and will continue to go back because of the excellent customer service. 😊”

“I happen to be passing through town and found this place. From the outside it has a Mexican puebla look and the inside was big and clean. I had the enchiladas with salsa verde and a michelada and my sister ordered the carne asada tacos. The server was very nice and new the menu quite well. I mentioned to her I only like the spicy micheladas with salt and lime so if it was a sweet one then would opt for the margarita instead. She politely said okay but had a look like why would we make it sweet? Some Mexican American places do that but traditionally its salt lime and spices. Anyhow the enchiladas were pretty good. The portion was big and the salsa verde was mildly spicy with a little tang to it. I did love how the corn tortillas were a little toasted eventhough they were drenched in sauce. My sister's plate on the other hand made me and my brother in law jealous. I have no clue what he ordered and forgot about my own plate when the carne asada came out on a skillet with caramelized onions huddled around it. It was perfectly seared and lightly salted and the tortillas was fresh corn tortilla off the hot iron. If you like tacos let me tell you it does not get better then that. All in all it is a good place with genuine Mexican food and if you want to find other more traditional Latin American places ask the servers they know their food.”
