“Perfect local eatery! We ate here 2 of the 4 days we stayed in the area. Both times we came in, we could see the local folks enjoying their meal and friends, and atmosphere. We were made to feel like family too. We had shrimp and crawfish boils, étouffée, stuffed crab, and soft shell crab and it was all so good. It was southern comfort food, local good food, small business, great atmosphere. I get a little aggravated at northern people saying their crawfish/shrimp/crab were not done because they couldn't dissect it and eat it as fast as the local folk. Peeling and eating the shelled food takes practice. If they never did it and can't it's operator error, not the crustaceans or restaurants fault, LOL. As a northerner we had to get lessons ourselves and we are still C+ peelers.....I would recommend this local business. If it takes some time to get in - it's because they are a really good place to eat. Give them a try, you won't regret if you have the right attitude.“

“Awesome people and are willing to go the extra mile to make a customer happy. We picked up 15lbs of live crawfish at 12:30 in the afternoon and got home to clean them and prepare for a boil at 430. We noticed a few were dead and called and they let us know to wait and see if they wake up from being on ice. When we went to boil at 3 we noticed even more not moving and potentially dead. We brought them back and they kindly swapped it out for new crawfish. I appreciate them taking the time to show us a crawfish after being on ice and being kind to us and replacing them! Crawfish were amazing in size!“

“The food was amazing. We enjoyed the Sunday brunch menu which included the French onion soup, fried oyster salad and for entrees we ate the New Orleans Crab Cake Benedict and Short Rib Benedict. The manger was so gracious as to give me a small bottle of champagne to take home since all the desserts were made with chocolate and I am allergic. We will definitely be back for the dinner menu. Fantastic table side service, beautiful ambiance and excellent master chef food.“

“Stopped in for some amazing food with my brother and mom on a Thursday evening and I was craving catfish. Their catfish is breaded with a great seasoned flavor, crispy thick pieces and some thin ones too. The Catfish Atchafalaya is one of the best entrees when you are craving a savory seafood dish. The crawfish etouffee is the best in the parish. We ordered the jacked up crawfish dip with the fried pita chips that come out hot and fresh with crawfish in every bite! Creamy with a hint of spice that’s so satisfying. Try that with the fried eggplant and you will love it. For dessert the richest and best bread pudding with an amazing tasty rum sauce. Take it home with you, heat it up for about 10 seconds and you have that midnight southern snack that brings you back to your childhood. The atmosphere is relaxing and the southern rustic Louisiana feel makes you wanna sit back and just enjoy the goodness of the evening. Our waitress was Carmin and she was welcoming and offered great advice on every dish we asked about. Great service across the board. The prices ate so affordable for the amount of food served on an entree, even the appetizers. Everything about Louisiana Bayou Bistro is superb from the second you walk in. There was a holiday party in the next room and the atmosphere was never bothered. Been coming here for almost 20 something years and it just gets better and better. The fried shrimp is my favorite. All you can eat for the price is unbeatable. Best food and people across the bridge! I live in Florida and when I come home this is where I love to go. “The Fiery Crab on Corporate is much brighter and inviting inside than the Siegen Lane location. Food was fresh, hot, and delicious. “First time here, my server Conor was exceptional, I have try diferent chargrilled oyster in diferent restaurant like chimes, Felix's other ones, and i ask if they have diferent flavors i wanna try something diferent and they make me something off the menú and they didn't disappoint they where amazing. “Went there on the Wednesday burger night. Burgers were fantastic, and only a couple of dollars. Drink special as well, but I had a gin and tonic. Bartenders were great. Has to be the biggest secret in Baton Rouge. If it wasn't, there would be a line down the street.“
