Okay here we go... Food was good and the view was great. They just needed a little more staff for the busy time.
We started with the loaded fries, moved on to Cajun Shrimp Tacos. Happy Hour five dollar beer and wine.

“Enjoyed Chickie Wah Wah in New Orleans for the 1st time during my day weekend in April while seeing the legendary Keith Frank & the Soileau Zydeco Band! There was a slight issue at the entrance regarding our 3rd-party tickets (only $25 btw!!) But the staff was understanding and accepted our email receipt then immediately permitted entry. It was a bit warmer than expected once the dancing started but I had a mini personal fan that helped to keep the party going! Great vibes, everyone was friendly, and we felt quite safe allowing us to simply have a good time! (FYI, they also have a free rear parking lot which was greatly appreciated.)“

“Last Friday we had a Rehearsal Dinner and after the that a welcome party for my daughter’s wedding at Oak and Ale. We rented out the Oak Bar and the Patio area. The event was a huge success. The food was delicious, the details and special touches that Jillian put together for our event were so thoughtful and just perfect for our event. The service from the bar tenders and the servers and the kitchen staff was amazing! We could not be happier with all those at Oak and Ale that made our evening so special, including the great crawfish that our out of town guests got to try! The food was delicious, many compliments from our guests and even locals said the gumbo was fantastic! I would highly recommend Oak and Ale!!!“
