“Uncle Matt's was the best. Great atmosphere! I'm a smoker and this is a non-smoking bar but I still felt extremely welcome. The outside patio is one of the best and cozy. If you haven't been here you must try. At most neighborhood bars new comers are usually not welcome but that certainly is not the case here. I will be a return customer for sure!!“

“Went on April 14 for their Sunday Brunch because of reviews that describe "Bloody Mary" bar. Did read on their website that their Brunch has a "Bloody Mary" bar. We were disappointed that they actually DO NOT have one. Maybe our definition of "Bloody Mary" bar where patrons serve themselves and build their ideal Bloody Mary with provided mixes topped with provided garnishes is erroneous?But they do serve good individual Bloody Marys' with fixings. They also make a green Bloody Mary but tasted more like a green juice.We also ate here. Prices were a bit high but the food was very tasty! The Shrimp and Grits, Duck Hash and Crab Cake Benedict all had unique flavors. The Duck Hash was on the sweet side. Instead of serving rolls prior to your entree, Atchafalaya served mini cornbread muffins with their special butter which was delish! We asked for seconds :DReservations are good to have but they accommodated us without one. Just had to wait 30-45 minutes but they do have seating outside for that wait. Bring a hat for shade if a hot sun is shining! Hostess and wait staff were very cordial. With a full house, it can be a bit noisy and busy in their quaint establishment but atmosphere felt comfortable. The "live music" was an added nice touch!Don't know if we would go back again because of prices. There are many "Brunch" restaurants to choose from. Wish they still had our definition of a "Bloody Mary" bar. That would bring us back!“

“Pretty solid poboy. The bread is what does it for me. This place had great bread. I would assume it is baked in-house. It had the flare of French baguette but only the kind of Louisiana French you can get. The oyster and shrimp were delicious.“

“We came here one afternoon in March after a swamp tour and met Mike the chef .. they had Crawfish egg rolls special I loved it personally I thought the egg wrap was done splendidly. Also had fried catfish where I really enjoyed the cornmeal-style breadcrumb. I'm not from the region so it's really cool to get authentic neighborhood food.Make no mistake that this is a dive bar. Complete with pool table, gaming machine and cigarettes. They were very welcoming when I was there, but this isn't exactly a dining experience. “The best neighborhood bar I’ve ever been to, it’s a great community, everyone is very welcoming. A lot of neighborhood spots you walk in and it’s like the record skips and everyone turns around. Not Pete’s! Speaking of records they have a vintage jukebox with great broad selection. It’s old school, nobody paying extra to skip ahead of you, no one playing the same Drake song on repeat. Drinks are very affordable with a modest but well rounded selection. They have pop ups most days it seems so if your hungry there’s usually a food option. Each Arepas is generous, not really meant to be cut in half and shared, as is our habit.My wife and I often say, I'm torn between A & B, (I'm torn between B & A), so we order both & switch partway through. Amusing sometimes seeing the faces on the wait staff.No Manhattans. Cachasa or Rum cocktails here.Apparently there was recent road repaving causing parking issues. “When Ba Chi Canteen closed I was so sad, and made sure I visited Ba Chi Kitchen before I left NoLa this time!! I made a late night to-go order that I ordered several hours ahead, and the food was fresh and delicious. I was also met with the sweetest girl (I didn’t catch her name), and she was so sweet and friendly even though my order was scheduled 15 mins before close. They have my favorite bao in the city, I had the ba chi bacos and the bbq pork baco and they were just what I was looking for. Also, I’ve never had crispy gyoza before here and it’s probably my favorite menu item!“

“These Po' Boys are THE best! We ate here 10 years ago and I did a little research to locate it so we could go again. Husband got the roast beef Po' boy and I got the fried oyster. OMG delish. Worth the Uber and the price of the food. Highly recommend. Met the owner and told him and he was so thankful and humble.“

“Best "hole-in-wall" place to catch live music uptown (other than Tips). Grab a beer at the bar and watch music within a few feet of the artists at this Oak Street bar. This area is an easy decision with Jacquimo's nearby restaurant to round out an evening of excellence -- legit New Orleans food followed by authentic music, an up-town affair. This is a super low key place. If you're worried about your clothing or hair, you're on the wrong mental note. Nobody will see you or care, they are there for the music.“

“If you are in Metairie Bar Tevs is a great spot to meet up with friends or watch a game. Great location off of Airline in Metairie away from the hustle of the city. The owners always make a fun atmosphere on game days or any day! And the food pop-up’s are on point!“

“I go to Le Bon Temps often and they have some good music. They also have FREE oysters on Fridays but they go quick so you need to get there early! They have a kitchen that serves food and they have some good burgers here. The bar is divided into 2 main areas with the front being full of pool tables and the back where the bands play. This is usually a really fun bar to watch music until the point that it gets too crowded, which is way too often, but you always have the front area of the bar to escape to. The back area, where the bands play, can just get miserably crowded especially on Thursday nights when bands like the Soul Rebels play (it also is a bad "tradition" that the Soul Rebels NEVER start on time so it is like 12:30 or 1am before they start usually so if you have to work the next day that really is a challenge). There are also some people that take their pool games WAY too seriously in here and I've seen a few fights break out over a stupid game so don't get in those folks way. Parking can sometimes be a bit of a challenge but if you get far enough away you can always find a spot. They usually have pretty quick bar service and I usually prefer the front bar when there is music as it is quicker to get served than fighting the often formidable crowd in the back. There is always an interesting crowd here and there is a special plaque on the bar involving a historical person that I will let you discover yourself (maybe further down in this review even). There always seems to be something going on here when it seems nothing else is anywhere else in the area. Overall this is one of the best classic dive bars and music venues in the entire New Orleans area. FYI: This is yet another of the bars that claims the notoriety of having had Lee Harvey Oswald as a frequent customer. “We finally made it back to New Orleans on a day that Casa Borrega was open, so after unloading we walked over and had yet another delicious authentic Mexican meal! We love the atmosphere, food and the musician did a great job as well! We tend to stay with the Mexican street food but you really can’t go wrong with anything they make!“

“This is a very nice venue for jazz to say the least. There's not a bad seat in the house and the acoustics are amazing! There's a fully stocked bar which is available before and during the show and it adds to the ambience. Of course, the New Orleans Jazz Orchestra (NOJO) led by Mr. Adonis Rose was astonishing. This was my first visit and I traveled from Baton Rouge to hear the all-star show. It was definitely a treat because I had never heard China Moses live and she's jazz royalty as the daughter of the great Dee Dee Bridgewater! It was quite a show and based on the musicianship and the surroundings, I look forward to hearing some great music there again.“

Fantastic live music on Friday nights from 8-10.Dog friendly (make sure to say hi to Arlo and Peeves!), and they have a great patio for when it gets busy indoors. You have patient because there's usually only one bartender at a time, even when it's busy, and they're handling tons of orders per customer. Even still, the bartenders rock!I've never had an issue here and always feel extremely safe, even when I come alone. Absolutely a must-visit!“

“First time to Moe’s, but definitely not the last. Being somewhat of a BBQ snob, I have been looking for a location to replace NOLA Smokehouse since it closed down. Tried CCBBQ for awhile since Chef Rob from NOLA Smokehouse was part owner, but once Chef Rob left, it was pointless to continue going. For such a small place, Moe’s has a lot to offer. Everything I tried from the menu was exemplary, the staff is super-friendly and fast, and the location provides a clean/relaxing atmosphere to enjoy their food. Definitely worth the trip, and not too expensive.“

“We always order to go and have had a lot of their food.Burgers, they're absolutely delicious. This is everyone in our house's favorite place for a good burger. And we're burger people lol. Mushroom Swiss is good, husband likes the one with bbq sauce and bacon. My favorite is the cheddar burger. The patties are HUGE and they put a mound of cheese, which is what makes it my favorite burger. They come with fries and they're pretty standaro fries. The appetizer sampler is SO worth it. Artichoke dip is creamy and full of chucks of artichokes, southwest egg rolls are, buffalo wings are just. I haven't had any other flavor but I'm sure they're all good. The wings are the huge ones. The steak night plate and Philly cheese steak sandwich are on the list of things to try. It isn't overly priced and the bartenders are always sweet and helpful.Shoutout to Sydney who is super sweet! If you haven't tried this gem TRY IT, because it's easily the best restaurant in Kenner.“

“Extremly friendly staff! I visited this restaurant on 10/9/22 on a late night about 2 am.. I thought this bar sold food, I was extremely hungry, but only had drinks. The two women there were soooo friendly,I ended up ordering two delicious long islands! They recommended 3 other places my fiancé and I can eat at, and we ended up at lamp lighter. “Cask is a nice little bar in Lakeview right near the cemeteries. It's got a little bit of a higher-end selection of liquor than the Bulldog or Parlays. The server when I went was super friendly and accommodating. The atmosphere is a little more upscale, but the arrangement of the tables is a little weird. I feel like they're a little confused about what they want to be, but it's a nice little space.“

While it didn't look like much from the outside, I was absolutely blown away by the food!
