“Super cute spot with a great menu. Our server was lovely and her recommendation did not disappoint! Went with the grits bowl and it was the BEST grits I've ever had, complete with sauteed veggies, fried eggs, and crispy bacon. Also, the fresh juice was delicious. Definitely recommend if you're in the area!“

“We visited Russell’s Marina Grill while in New Orleans because my son is a huge fan of a musician whose family owns the restaurant. We already expected great food, but what we got was an experience we’ll never forget. Not only was the meal absolutely phenomenal—fresh, flavorful, and clearly made with love—but the hospitality we received was above and beyond. My son got to meet the musician’s brother, who manages the restaurant, and he even came out to take a picture with us. My son was thrilled. “Love the bagels love the food love the location. The vegan eat lox bagel is amazing! As is the harvest Moon. Their bagels are the right amount of chewy. If you're going on a weekend go early because they do sell out of most of their bagels by the end of the day. Oh if you like tahini, they have this wonderful tahini brownie like things that are delicious.“

“I have been a fan of Miel for a few years, but I just hosted a baby shower there and my experience was nothing short of amazing! I believe I was communicating to the owner or management prior to the event and she made it all so absolutely easy - reaching out, requesting information, reserving.

Once I arrived to set up for it, everyone was super helpful and kind not to mention organized!

The ambiance is always on point, everyone raving about the beers and slushies… the list goes on.

The Bavarian Cream and Venetian Cream iced coffee drinks are off the chain! But the best is the Wellness Tonic…their signature wellness shot with tonic water and ice! Chef’s kiss!“

Not only are their pastries seasonal and delicious, but the staff are al so welcoming and friendly. I live their savory croissants and their seasonally flavored cuffing. “This place was fantastic!!! Just a hole In the wall, making you feel almost exclusive! The ciders and mead are not only refreshing, but not as "dry" as you may think. This mead is made with honey and natural ingredients it seems, not and does not taste like water. Unfortunately we didn't get to taste any syrup like sweet meads. The flavors are all tart/dry, and the cheeseboard paired amazingly with our flight. Lastly the owner was super helpful and guided us to some of the best places we have eaten in the city! “Great place for breakfast, menu has changed some what, less omelet selection, grits are a little runner spread out onto the plate looks like more but less. I ordered fish and grits w/eggs. Instead waiter brought me a bowl shrimp and grits with eggs on the side. I ask where is the fish she said oh! Yes came back with the fish. I told her I had ordered fish and grits, no sir you ask for shrimp and grits. Anyway the food taste good my guess were happy, In the end so was I. 9/04/23.“

“Our krewe met up for drinks at Abita NOLA on Saturday. Nice place with lots of beers to choose from. They also freely let you sample the beers, which is so helpful in choosing. Our group tried many over the 3 hours we spent there.

A couple of bothersome things: 1. we grabbed a table inside after the previous group left but the staff never came by to clear it. It was wet and dirty. And 2. The music was so loud we couldn’t hear each other. Made for lots of yelling “what?”

Place fluctuated in crowdedness and at times there were long lines for drinks. Staff were accommodating. Would return.“

They were a little slow on the service the night we went, but honestly, we didn't even notice until they offered free refills of our margaritas as an apology. Class act! Fall/winter/spring recommend since the summer in the swamp is oppressive. Consider to-go when it's hot.“
