The staff was amazing and made us feel like we were in the backyard drinking with friends. We are local and like to day trip in state. I highly recommend giving this place a try and seeing why it is a hidden gem.“

“We visited Russell’s Marina Grill while in New Orleans because my son is a huge fan of a musician whose family owns the restaurant. My son got to meet the musician’s brother, who manages the restaurant, and he even came out to take a picture with us. My son was thrilled. Constant fun free events, great beer, excellent food pop-ups, beautiful patio of tropical plants and disco balls, and even a Nintendo 64 set up with mario kart. Glorious. The owners are lovely people, too“

“Love the bagels love the food love the location. The vegan eat lox bagel is amazing! As is the harvest Moon. Their bagels are the right amount of chewy. If you're going on a weekend go early because they do sell out of most of their bagels by the end of the day. Oh if you like tahini, they have this wonderful tahini brownie like things that are delicious.“

Instead waiter brought me a bowl shrimp and grits with eggs on the side. I ask where is the fish she said oh! Yes came back with the fish. I told her I had ordered fish and grits, no sir you ask for shrimp and grits. Anyway the food taste good my guess were happy, In the end so was I. 9/04/23.“

The Seafood Taco was the hit in our group followed closely by the Pork Taco i recommend having them made as deluxe lots of good stuff added. The Margaritas were equally refreshing on a hot day. Costs were fair Tacos ranging in price from $3.50-$5.00 . They do have a 2nd location in NOLA if driving to Bay St Louis is to far.“

They use fresh, seasonal ingredients that taste like they were harvested that morning. The technical excellence in their baked goods is up there with the best in the country. Just a fantastic staple, long may it reign.“

“Broad Street Cider was definitely a place I will return anytime I’m in New Orleans!! I love that they are all natural in the fermentation process (NO ADDED SUGARS/SYRUPS) and gluten free!!

Excellent experience with great owners!! We enjoyed everything about it!! The ciders and meads were amazing and refreshing!! The charcuterie tray was super fun…and had many things I’d never tasted! I appreciated learning all of the origins and history of the foods/drinks!

The pub design/lighting is cozy and I loved seeing many of the different steps of the processing in the well organized working space behind the bar!

“I had the most wonderful experience coming across this restaurant as I was walking down the street. I am visiting from out of town but if I were living here this would be a regular spot for me. I started with a Caesar salad that I thought was exceptional and those are some of the best croutons I have ever had. Then the small on me pizza came and then I had my first reservation about this place because although the ingredients were delicious the pizza was undercooked.. one of the servers not only asked how everything was and I told her that and she explained to me how the dough is prepared fresh daily. So they offered to reheat it for another 5 minutes and if it was perfect. I think there were some secret ingredients in that dough because the flavor was spectacular. Mallory and Candace gave exceptional service. Unbelievably friendly and hospitable. I loved the decor and the exposed brick wall. A very intimate setting wonderfully enjoyable.“

“Our krewe met up for drinks at Abita NOLA on Saturday. Nice place with lots of beers to choose from. They also freely let you sample the beers, which is so helpful in choosing. Our group tried many over the 3 hours we spent there.

A couple of bothersome things: 1. we grabbed a table inside after the previous group left but the staff never came by to clear it. It was wet and dirty. And 2. The music was so loud we couldn’t hear each other. Made for lots of yelling “what?”

Place fluctuated in crowdedness and at times there were long lines for drinks. Staff were accommodating. Would return.“
