“I like Tuckers. The people there are nice. They cook the food fresh when you order. They have excellent fried catfish. So it can take 15-20 min when you order. But, if you want home cooked Cajun food, it's really the only place in Zachary that I feel comfortable going to.“

“My family and I dined at South Plains Food Company for Mother's Day. The total experience for us was amazing. While we expected to have to wait for seating just because it was Mother's Day - it really, for us, was not too bad. we got seated and the awesomeness was present. Our server, Miss T was amazing. She was very professional in all aspects of her duties, she was friendly but not overly so, she took care of us as if we were her only guests - or course we know that was not the case. Serving simply appeared to be easy for her. Additionally, we observed staff working together to clear tables when guests finished their meal, which allowed those waiting to be seated more quickly. Please remember to ask for Miss T, you will be glad you did.“

“We have not ever had problems here, but oh today we got the worst service we have ever gotten. Our drinks were empty until our food finally got there server was rude, and we didn't even get our salads until after the main course was brought out. All in all the worst dinner we have ever had there. Then when you comment on their Facebook they delete because they don't want people to be honest. So don't go here u less you want to be ignored.“

“My husband and I went in on a Saturday night. The food was great (the corn fritters were our favorite). My husband had the seafood platter and everything was cooked well and seasoned great. I ordered the sirloin and it was cooked perfectly at the medium I requested. The Summertime margarita was sweet and great the beers were reasonably priced and cold. We did not care for the dessert we ordered a brownie a la mode and the brownie was over cooked and not very good. Overall we'd give it an 8 out of 10 and go back in and just skip the dessert.“

We normally go on Sunday for brunch (because of babysitter availability) but we were able to go for dinner last night to celebrate our anniversary. When I tell you the flat iron steak we had was 100% PERFECT, I’m not exaggerating. Temp was perfect. Cut was perfect. Flavor was perfect. French onion soup was perfect. “The best little seafood shop scenic highway scenic highway seafood they got the best of everything and they sell chitlins too or I went there and laid there and got me some of them good red beans and rice and fried chicken and cornbread cornbread taste like cake and baby did I eat I usually eat that much but I ate that whole plate they have some good food I'm planning on going there tomorrow to get me some more of that good food so talk to you later go there and try it scenic seafood.“
