“Just had an okay meal here. Vibes and atmosphere were nice, but the food did not live up and we were disappointed with how long the end of the meal took. They were clearly short staffed, as we saw our server running around trying to help all of her tables and so we do not blame her—she was great! It just shouldn’t take 30 minutes to order dessert after receiving the menu. The meatballs and ham & cheese sandwich were my favorite, but still a 4/5.“

“My wife and I made our first trip to Boston, and this was our first stop after we arrived. Everything was fantastic! We ordered 6-7 plates and they were all delicious, especially the clams, eggplant and piri-piri chicken. We also had no experience with Portuguese wine but the varietals we tried were wonderful. The best part truly was the service - our waitress. Maggie, and the manager, Madison, were just so warm and welcoming and made our experience that extra level of special. “We visited before a show at the Opera House and had a wonderful experience. Although we had a reservation, I asked to sit somewhere less formal, and the hostess immediately offered us a perfect high-top table in the bar area. The atmosphere was lively, but relaxed-conversations buzzing, TVs muted, and drinks shaking. Our wine, filets, mashed potatoes, and creamed spinach were hot, delicious, and perfectly timed for our evening plans. “I've been to three shows here and I have to say that it is not my favorite venue for listening to music because of the way that the room is set up. As others have noted, seats are close together and the tables are set up perpendicular to the stage so I always leave with a sore neck.

But that's not the purpose of tonight's review. I want to talk about Joe. My wife and I came early and had dinner in the dining area. We started with the baked fig and goat cheese which was quite good, but the toasted baguettes were hard as a rock. We brought it to our service attention and the baguettes were replaced with some delicious pita bread.

The rest of our meal was good. My wife enjoyed her Burger and I enjoyed my lemon pepper herb parmesan wings.

When Joe, who I assume is the manager, heard of our problem immediately told us that he was going to comp the baked fig and goat cheese. Dayenu! He also offered us complimentary cocktails but as we do not drink we opted for after dinner coffee. Dayenu! He also offered us a complimentary dessert, but we were pretty satisfied and simply didn't have room for dessert although the offerings were tempting. I told Joe that the small problem with one of the dishes will be forgotten long before the extra lengths to which he went to make everything right. Thank you to the City Winery and to Joe for going above and beyond.“

“I hope my review can help redeem this spot if it’s on your list - like it was on mine. After reading the reviews I was little skeptical, but I truly had a great experience at Bubble Bath. The atmosphere is amazing and views are stunning! They fill a hole in the Boston bar scene in my opinion - of fancy rooftops WITH amazing interior. Sure we have Lookout but the inside of Lookout is pretty meh. So I think this place is a great addition.

We went on Saturday night and surprisingly did not have to wait for a table. A big plus!! The ambience is amazing, both indoors and outdoors (see photos) The menu is a little limited. They only have about 10 cocktails on the menu. Food options are also limited - even more so if you’re vegetarian. But would highly recommend to go for a good time and drinks! As far as service goes, our hostess was a little late to pay attention to us but it was also potentially because we switched tables from indoors to outdoors. For outdoors they offer you blankets which is a great touch. If you’re ordering food you will be charged a 5% kitchen appreciation fee but it’s optional so if you don’t want it, you can ask to have it removed. It’s added by default though.

“The amazing service was the standout. We started with lobster bisque, had filet mignon, whipped potatoes and asparagus for our entrees, and finished with chocolate cake and cappuccinos. I have had better steak (it wasn't melt in your mouth tender) but it was still really great, and the overall experience was wonderful. Cocktails and wine were also perfect. “Everything about Limoncello’s is terrific. I started back in the early 2000’s having lunch when visiting family that lives in Chelsea. Then we came this past summer for my son’s 10th birthday. We dined there Friday and Saturday night this past weekend because my son loves it so much. If you haven’t tried it, then get there! It’s the best I’ve had in the North End! Maurizio is a gentleman and his family treated us wonderfully. Chico is a great server and LuLu is quick witted, kind, and BEAUTIFUL! Every staff member was great…especially one person that really made my boy feel special.“
