The menu selection was a little limited but we made do. Not your typical brunch but still had the big players like pancakes and a breakfast that consisted of eggs, pancake and home fries. When the plates came out we were a bit surprised at the amount of food but it was the “perfect” amount. We left satisfied.“

“absolutely loved this resturant. it is a sister resturant to futago udon right next door and the service is just as wonderful. eating the mazesoba truly is an experience - the combination of the flavors of the runny egg yolk and the umami flavors of the sauce is wonderful. you can also add vinegar to your noodles to change up the taste which I find fantastic. yuzu mazesoba was light, acidic, and refreshing. portion is just right. after you finish your noodles the leftover sauce is eaten with a free scoop of rice. just a wonderful resturant!“

“My friends and I arrived at Chiharu right when it opened on the weekend, and it was not too busy. There is a small parking lot next to the driving school with designated parking spots for this restaurant, but the space is a bit tight there. There is also only one server, so the service is not exceptionally fast. I ordered sashimi salad, salmon sashimi, scallop sashimi, kiss of fire roll, spider roll, phoenix roll, spicy titanic roll, and torched yellowtail roll. My favorite was the spicy titanic roll, but I also quite enjoyed the phoenix roll and kiss of fire roll. The sashimi slices are a bit thin in the sashimi salad, but I did enjoy the variety of fish and vegetables present. My favorite sashimi was the yellowtail, which tasted quite fresh and delicious. All the seafood in the rolls tasted really fresh and good, including the shrimp tempura. My least favorite was the torched yellowtail roll as I did not taste much yellowtail, and the eel felt lackluster. The scallop sashimi was alright, and the salmon sashimi was on the leaner side. I enjoyed the careful effort put into the presentation of all these sushi. Unfortunately, their other special rolls do not sound as appealing to me, but I would come back again since their sushi tastes fresh!“

It is the only place I feel confident to try a new dish without feeling bad about the money (in case I don’t like the dish). At about $50-60 for 2 entrees, one sake and tip, this restaurant is a gem. I don’t remember much from the more expensive restaurants I’ve dinned at (aside from how high the bill was). Because few places elevate cuisine to the level where a $150 bill for 2 people feels like money well spent. So, I am happy we found this restaurant because they got the recipe right: you pay a reasonable price for good food and you get loyal customers!Thank you!“

The staff were friendly, they can customize the dish to your liking. I told my friend about Thai Thai and she tried them also.We agreed that the noodles should be cut short. We’re used to eating long noodles such as pad Thai or vermicelli. Both of our noodle dishes had short noodles. I’d suggest you ask them to leave the noodles before ordering. “My second visit to Mecha Noodle Bar was as enjoyable as the first. Initially, I dined at their Seaport location, which was fantastic. This time, I went with friends to the Brookline branch. It's a tad smaller than the Seaport spot but still spacious enough for groups. We only had to wait about 15 to 20 minutes, which was reasonable. Plus, there's a fantastic bookstore nearby where you can pass the time while waiting! We all opted for ramen, and it didn't disappoint in terms of portion size and satisfaction. I went for the spicy miso ramen, which was bursting with flavor. I always add tamago which is aways a great choice; it complemented the dish perfectly. I highly recommend adding an egg to your noodles! For appetizers, we indulged in dumplings, pork baos, and edamame, and they were all incredibly delicious. The pork belly baos, in particular, stood out; the pork belly was incredibly tender. Overall, Mecha Noodle Bar is an excellent choice for a romantic date or a casual meal with friends.“

“There are a couple of things to get past on your first visit but it's well worth it. Firstly, expect long wait times, as the noodles are boiled freshly in front of you and the bowls are made to order. It's worth the wait. I got the szechuan beef noodle soup and it hit. They have a microwave safe container. I put the leftovers in the fridge and heated it up for dinner. It's the priciest place in the food court but is by far the best. It deserves to be somewhere better. Coming back as we grow into winter and days get colder.Oh yeah, the other thing to get past is that you have to order at Dragon Bowl. I was recommended this place by a friend, so decided to give it a try. This place has absolutely amazing Chinese food that tastes homemade. we talked to the owner and she makes the food homemade every day, so nothing is stuck in a freezer for days on end. I think this made an incredible difference and how awesome our food tasted. Service and atmosphere felt like you were in somebody’s home being served food as a guest. “A great thai spot in Dorchester. The ingredients are so fresh. I love that they use white meat chicken in most of the dishes. Sometimes I want to feel a little healthier without the fat from the dark. The best part is the flavors are so good from the sauces that you don't notice. Plus the meats are very tender so you know they were prepped well ahead of cooking. Coconut shrimp were very good. There was too much I wanted to try, including their signature wings. They have a big menu to pick from and out all sound good. Staff is so nice. You order from a kiosk that has pictures too. They text you when it's ready. There are 4 tables inside but it's mainly take out. You can eat inside though if you want. Portion size is huge. It reminds me of one of those Chinese take out places where they stuff the container, only the food here is much better quality. One of the best parts is how much food you're getting for your dollar.“
