“Don’t be fooled by the somewhat outdated interior and hole in the wall feel. The focus here is on the food!
Good quality fish, creative rolls, and efficient service. The price-to-value ratio can’t be beat. Tastes that much better with the reasonable prices. Note that you can tell the fish is not top-notch quality, but it hits all the right notes for an everyday sushi craving. Some rolls are more outstanding than others. My favorite so far was one that incorporated crunchy tempura bits into the minced tuna topping (forgot the name!).
We loved our recent visits so much that we’re getting platters from here for a holiday party. I’m pretty sure they’re going to be a hit.“

“While riding my unicycle and searching for a really good place to try some sushi my wheel pointed me into the direction of this great little hidden jewel. There's always room for improvement in any restaurant or environment of food services. I gave this blossom 5 stars across the board. Every aspect of service, presentation, courtesy, cleanliness, decorum, food freshness, quality, and I could keep going on. If they were to try and improve, it could possibly hurt them. They are just simply excellent. Thank you for the great experience. One wheel at a time 👍🏼.

“Very good fish. Fatty tuna was incredible, salmon was pretty good. One disappointment was that they only gave wasabi and ginger with the appetizer, but the maki roll came with none. And I ordered two items was given two soy sauce packets. Will probably go back at some point. If i’m paying over $30 for a small paper bag of food i think those sides could be improved.“

“I LOVE THIS PLACE SO MUCH. I was craving raw salmon so much and this place gives me the most generous amount of salmon for my bowl🍣🩵🩵 Love the crunchy topping, mango topping, and EVERYTHING. Will come back to dine here again🩷
-Came back and tried the spicy seafood ramen. IT WAS SO GOOD. 10/10 recommend!“

“The kushi yaki beef is really good. Would recommend trying.
Tonkotsu ramen was fine, but didnt taste how I expected a tonkotsu ramen to taste. It tasted more like a vegetable pork soup. On the flip side, not too salty compares to other ramens so I drank a lot of it. Lastly, the egg tasted weird...it wasnt bad per say but I liked the eggs from other ramen places a lot better.
Overall solid place. Worth a try.“

“It was our first time here. Sushi was great. Staff was also very pleasant. The restaurant itself was a very nice environment nice seating and lighting. The presentation of the sushi was amazing! It came in a beautifully designed boat steaming with dried ice and beautiful decorations! They had a pretty decent size menu. Absolutely going back.“

“My first time at Akame Omakase was absolutely exceptional. Every course was carefully explained, the ingredients tasted incredibly fresh, and the entire experience felt thoughtful from start to finish.
Some of my favorite dishes were the Aki Dashi Tofu, with an incredibly rich and comforting umami broth, the Tom Kha Gai, the sweet Ebi shrimp that was simply delicious, and especially the Otoro with Uni, which completely melted in my mouth.
For $99, this omakase was an amazing experience and easily exceeded my expectations for a first omakase dinner. I’ll definitely be coming back.“
