“It's hard to find the words to describe the experience of eating at Comfort Kitchen... they are a game-changer for the restaurant experience. Their food is familiar and comforting while still feeling new and fresh. We are frequent brunch-goers here (the pepper stew is — WOW), and we have eaten here a number of times for special occasions with friends and even for a company meal for 10. The service is consistently thoughtful, no matter how big the table.

Highly recommend—can't wait to experience their new place in Allston! And we are so looking forward to the patio opening in Dorchester.”

“Absolutely love this place and it’s staff! The ice cream is delicious and there is a huge selection of flavors. The ice cream sandwiches are to die for. They are made with homemade cookies, so delicious. Maggie is crushing it! The owner Matthew is so kind and friendly and openly invites suggestions! **Allergy friends, they keep all nuts separate from everything else in the back. We were very pleased. We’ve already made two trips this week!!”

“King Do has recently moved to a new location, and the space is now much larger, cleaner, and more airy. The menu still offers a wide variety of options, and the food remains just as delicious and affordable as before. The highlights for me are definitely the pennywort drink and the mung bean milk—both are refreshing and a must-try.”

He's always pleasant, respectful and after all theses years loves what he does. Food is fresh and yummy, in my tummy. Although I like to try other food restaurants. This place will always be my favorite Seafood stop. (Hands down)”

“Went today a Tuesday. Service was horrible and they were not busy. Waited 5 minutes before we walked up to a server to ask to be seated. Waited another 10 minutes for water , 10 more to order drinks, then 15 min to order apps. Apps came out before drinks which took about 20min to come out. Food was horrible. I don't know how you can mess up chips with salsa & guac or a chicken quesadilla flavor wise. Chips were overcooked. Quesadilla chicken was under cooked. Birria tacos were pure salt. Pico all we tasted was lime. Ordered a mixed drink but it was all liquor. Asked for a manager & told there was not one available. My birthday dinner ruined. As you can see from the pics we did not finish our main courses because they were not eatable. We did not take them home either. Great presentation but thats about all that was good.”

“The best bar in Dorchester! I was visiting the neighborhood on a Sat. night from out of town, and the bartender and clientele were incredibly friendly and welcoming. They even brought in pizza from next door and shared it with everyone. :)

“If you love fried catfish and don’t mind rolling it yourself, it’s delicious here! It’s definitely a mom-and-pop spot. Service can be a bit slow, so don’t come in hangry.”

“I was back in Adams Village today (my old neighborhood) and as I crossed Gallivan Blvd, my 4 year old said “mummy!!!!!!! look at the smiley faced balloons!!!” I pulled over and asked the woman at the register if she would be willing to sell me one of the balloons with my coffee order. She immediately cut one off and gave it to my little boy. It made his day, and the wonderful banana hazelnut coffee made mine. ❤️”

“My favorite thing about this restaurant is the fact that BEEF sushi is served. As someone who doesn't like seafood, it's great to be able to enjoy eating here with friends who do. All of the beef options are delicious and it's fun being able to look for it on the revolving track. Their desserts are also delicious (though few), and the servers are all very friendly. It's very easy to not overeat here and to be able to decide how much you're going to spend.”

“Small business that serves many Spanish food options. I usually go for the Spanish rice with baked chicken but most of the time I go they usually only have the smaller fried chicken. The service is great. Quick and efficient selection style eating and you can get different plate sizes with the options you want. Small indoor sit-down eating with 3-4 tables but a good choice for take out lunch options.”

The reason I am giving it a 4 star is because I ordered a “quesobirria” only to find out that I had to order the Burria soup separately…. That was very disappointing. “Savin came recommended in a restaurant group so we gave it a try tonight. It was my friend and I with 5 children from 4 to 14. I arrived first with my son and was promptly greeted by Brody (who also waited on us). I explained we had 5 kiddos and inquired if a booth was available. He brought us over to a half booth which was perfect. The booth as well as chairs were very comfortable. I asked if we could have the older 2 girls (both 14) sit at the table next to us (they enjoy doing this). He was so accommodating andhappily set us up. Water was brought over for all of us and he asked if we had any questions on the menu. He said he would give us a few minutes to make our selections and went to get the beverages we ordered. 5 minutes later he came back with drinks and asked if we were ready to order. I got the chicken penne and added shrimp. My friend got the buffalo chicken quesadilla. We usually order 2 items and split them. Both were delish and we really enjoyed both entrees. The older girls got the adult portion max and cheese, which was cavatappi pasta with a ritz breadcrumb. They both said it was perfect consistency and enjoyed it. 2 kiddos got the kids size mac and cheese (cavatappi pasta with cheese) and 1 got the pasta with red sauce. Decent portions for a kids meal. The atmosphere was very nice. The music selection was also great and perfect volume. Brody was absolutely wonderful. He was attentive, but never pushy. Service was definitely a 10/10. This was the first time we have been to Savin but we will definitely be back. We felt the check was very fair for 7 people. (I snapped a few quick pics which really don’t do it justice but…).”

“Munchi Station in Dorchester is one of those spots that actually delivers on what you expect from a fast-casual concept.

The food is consistently fresh, flavorful, and well put together — not rushed or sloppy like you’d normally see in this category. You can tell there’s intention behind the menu and how everything is assembled.

Service is quick but still attentive, which is not easy to balance. The staff keeps things moving without making you feel like just another order in line.

The space itself is clean, organized, and has a solid vibe. It feels like a place you can stop by for something quick, but also sit and actually enjoy your food.

If you’re around Dorchester and want something reliable, well-executed, and worth your money, this is a spot you shouldn’t skip.

Went there with my dad for the first time and had a really good night. The food was insane, we had one of the soups too and I was honestly already full by the time the main course arrived lmao.
The waitress was incredibly sweet and helpful, which is very welcome, especially these days were people may occasionally forget manners. Even when we're having a bad or stressful day, a simple smile can change everything imo, so huge thanks to Abby!”

“This is my go-to coffee shop every single day! I live a 2 minute walk from Sugar Bowl and the first time I tried it, I was a bit unsure. I got hot chocolate the first time but after that I started trying their coffees. The almond joy is the best. Ava (the barista) is a fantastic worker and super friendly, and Kathy (one of the owners) is super nice and hardworking 😊 I love this place!”

“I really enjoyed Pete’s Pizza & Seafood. I tried the Hawaiian pizza and the pepperoni pizza, and both were delicious. The Hawaiian had the perfect balance of sweet and savory, and the pepperoni was full of flavor. The crust was fresh and crispy.
