“This has been my #1 sushi spot for many, many years. They have many great options. I always order the maki regular, which comes with a miso soup as well. Also, the shrimp and chicken pad thai. Even the mango shrimp fried rice ? the guy that serves inside, is awesome as well very friendly and fast.“

“I only visited to quiet 🤫 hunger pangs, the unauthorized sequel to Games 🎯, and I was short on time. The Furikake Mac Salad appetizer looked good, the ingredients read okay, and the price is right ▶️! It tasted good and held me over till dinner.
Service was good. I was given a smile. I ordered at the self checkout screen.
I am curious about their items on the menu. They have multiple locations and I am going to recommend this one.
There is a dining area in the center of the market.
Garlic 🧄 Spam Musubi? I hope Vikings do not show up!“

“I had a great date night, it was our first time there and it was excellent. I was happy with everything from the food to the service from our server José. He was on point with everything, would love to have him next time again. But even the music was great, but obviously the food was the best of it all. Everyone should definitely check it out.“

“Delicious Enmi ramen! First time seeing a citrusy yuzu-based ramen on a menu, and it was yummmy! Our server Justin was also so warm and welcoming, subbing the broth out for a vegan one. And the atmosphere is so cozy and intimate, will be back the next time we're in Boston for sure!“

“Authentic Thai and Tremptatious!
I loved the ground pork stir-fry basil here. Unlike other spots that use big chunks of pork, they use perfectly ground pork, which I prefer. The flavors are spot-on, and the ingredients are top-notch. If you want real Thai taste in Boston, this is the place!“

“This spot offers a truly unique and delicious food concept, with everything made fresh and packed with flavor. We’ve already been twice, despite living over 30 minutes away! The food is undeniably top-tier—worthy of a high-end dining experience—yet it’s served in a casual diner setting, which creates a bit of a contrast. The space is bright but lacks an atmosphere that matches the excitement of the cuisine. Additionally, they don’t have a liquor license, so no sake pairings, which feels like a missed opportunity. Overall, the food is a solid 10, while the rest is a 7 or 8—not because anything is wrong, but simply because it doesn’t quite align with the quality of the dishes. Definitely worth the trip for the food alone!“

“Great sushi, always super fresh. They go beyond simple sushi, offering dishes that are researched and excellent. Services was extremely quick last time we went.
Prices are fair given the quality.
Space is small but clean. Easier to take out than dine in if you have a party of more than 4.“

“Last night I went out with two close friends and we decided to try this Italian place. We were pleasantly surprised! The pasta was perfectly cooked, the sauces were flavorful, and the portions were generous. I had the shrimp Alfredo and it was one of the best I’ve had in a long time. The ambiance was cozy and the staff checked in with us just enough—not too much, not too little. We ended the night with a shared tiramisu, which was the perfect balance of coffee and cream. Highly recommend!“

“grabbed a takeout box for $18 and it was really good! the maki was generously filled and the nigiri were fresh and delicious. all the nigiri are paired with a small dot of a unique garnish which elevated them - i do wish there was more of the garnish on each piece to better appreciate the flavour pairings. would eat again!“

“This is my favorite sushi place, bar none. The food is a great value given the quantity and quality, and the customer service couldn't be better. They recognize me when I come to pick up lunch despite only going about once a month, and the staff is always so friendly. I recommend it to all my coworkers, and always look forward to my lunches from there.“

“My girlfriend and I originally stopped in for a quick snack, and we ended up staying for dinner because everything was that good. I got the brown sugar boba milk tea, and she got an ice cream with cute little decorations—it looked great and tasted even better. I was impressed that the boba came in a reusable can with the restaurant’s logo on it. I actually took it home, washed it out, and put it on my shelf because it looked so nice.
Both times we came in, the person at the front was super kind and welcoming. It was two different people, but both were genuinely friendly and made us feel comfortable right away. It added a really nice touch to the whole experience.
After walking around Cambridge a bit, we realized we didn’t feel like eating anywhere else—we came right back and ordered shrimp tempura sushi and more boba. The sushi was fresh, flavorful, and beautifully made. Everything we had tasted great.
Prices are on the higher side, but that’s expected in Cambridge. The portions could be a bit bigger, but the quality definitely makes up for it. No complaints at all—great staff, great food, and a cozy vibe. We’re definitely coming back soon!“

“I was there with some friends before a concert. This isn’t the first time I’ve been to symphony sushi. The service is always a little too fast for my liking. Like the apps come out 5 minutes before the mains so you don’t have any time. But over all I’ve never had bad food here. Everything I’ve gotten here has been excellent“

“We live in Winchester, and we have ordered takeout at Umi Sushi twice now. The sushi, the entire order has been extremely fresh, well-packaged, and just delicious. “Service was sufficient, polite & speedy. Atmosphere was intimate and a lil crowded. That said, the sushi was AMAZING!!!
I’ve eaten a lot of maki rolls here in Boston and thus far this has been that only the highest quality sushi, but the most aggressively priced!!
The chefs were also accommodating for substitutions, as well as some special requests (I have a shellfish allergy, so there are considerations that go with it) and again given how much I asked them I was still astonished at how quick that sushi rolls came out and just the overall quality of everything that were served to me.
Hands-down this is some of the best sushi in Boston! Can’t wait to come back with friends!!!!“

“Food was solid high quality sushi with creative preparation and freshness. Menu can be overwhelming so I’d advise having a look before you go there. Our server was lively and informative. Prices are generally high but acceptable for the occasional visit or event. The decor was modern and comfortable.
Parking: We lucked out finding parking a few blocks away but it would have taken a while had we not happen upon the space. Make sure you leave enough time to park.
Kid-friendliness: Perfectly acceptable for kids as it’s not a quiet environment, but you probably wouldn’t want to as it is upscale and everyone is seated.“

“Brookline is so lucky to have this local gem in the community!! Super Fusion never misses - I get takeout from here frequently and it's always such a nice experience. The sushi is fresh, delicious, reasonably priced and the people who own this store are such kind folks. The super fusion maki combo and crispy crab wontons are my favorite things to order but I've enjoyed everything I've tried here! I'm always happy to give this place my business - they're really nice people who produce consistently high quality food.“

“Mind-Blowing Culinary Experience at UNI Dining at UNI is nothing short of extraordinary. Chef Take's talent is truly remarkable, turning every dish into a masterpiece. The sashimi is unbelievably fresh, each slice practically melts in your mouth, showcasing the incredible quality and craftsmanship that UNI is known for. One of the standout dishes was the Foie Gras sushi with pop rocks and strawberry. The combination of flavors and textures was nothing short of genius—a perfect balance of richness, sweetness, and a playful pop that left me in awe. It’s a daring creation that speaks to Chef Take’s innovative spirit. My personal favorite, though, has to be the Toro topped with caviar. The buttery, luxurious texture of the Toro paired with the briny burst of caviar is an experience I won't soon forget. It's the kind of sushi that dreams are made of. The service at UNI is also top-notch. The staff is attentive, knowledgeable, and makes you feel like a VIP from start to finish. They are well-versed in the menu and make excellent recommendations, ensuring that your dining experience is seamless and memorable. UNI is, without a doubt, a dining destination that should be on every food lover’s bucket list. Chef Take’s talent shines through in every dish, making it an unforgettable experience.“

“As good as it gets for sushi around Boston. Super fresh, good amount of options but not overwhelming. Poke bowls are awesome as well. Any time I pick it up directly the staff are super nice and helpful as well. If you’re looking for top-quality sushi, without paying downtown prices, order it here.“

“A literally hidden gem on the busy Harvard Street. Nestled in the basement level of a red building, this seemingly suspicious looking place is actually packed with a friendly environment, good food, and good service. I came in with low expectations and was very much surprised.
From my photos, I ordered the patriot roll, black dragon roll, tornado maki, and fried softshell crab. It all tasted delicious. VERY delicious. The sauces that came with the special sushi rolls are supreme and they were packed with ingredients. Pricing was as expected and for some strange reason their canned Coca-Cola tasted really good too.
Only caveat is that this restaurant only accepts cash but they have an ATM.“

“A reliably fresh poke spot in Porter Square.
For the past few months, Ono Pokebar has been one of my go-to delivery spots for poke bowls, and that’s largely because of one key factor: consistency. The number one thing I look for in a poke bar is reliable portion sizes. When these places first open, they usually get great reviews for their generous servings, but give it a few months, and the portions start shrinking until they’re no different from any other run-of-the-mill poke spot. Sure, creative toppings and unique sauces can add some flair, but if I can’t count on consistent portions from visit to visit, I’m less likely to return.
That’s what sets Ono Pokebar apart. Most of the time, the bowls are served up by members of the owner’s family, so the portions are reliably the same every time. While they might not be the biggest bowls out there, they’re just the right size to leave me satisfied without worrying if I’ll still be hungry afterward.
When it comes to their poke, Ono Pokebar delivers exactly what you’d expect from a solid spot—fresh fish, flavorful sauces, and all the crunchy toppings that make a bowl satisfying. While they don’t have a ton of unique toppings, it’s the kind of reliable place I’d dash to the moment a poke craving hits.

“Chef Toriyama has some of the best sushi in Boston, hands-down! Little nuances that just make everything pop the vegetables tasted alarmingly, fresh good texture, really stunning depth the flavor. Almost reminds me of picking vegetables out of the garden. Not the usual slightly sterile taste, and texture that you find from modern restaurants.
The way that he seasons the rice is a little bit unique has a nice slightly nutty flavor to it. Really everything was incredibly well, balanced, and thought out.
The atmosphere is also stunning, soft, jazz music in the background sunlight gently fills the room
The staff all seem to know one another and be well connected and the entire vibe just feels warm.
Even the preparation & assembly of each role is different but in a charming and unique way. You can definitely tell that Chef has been at this for over the last two decades.
I eat at least Sushi twice a week and I think this is gonna be my new go to spot.“

“Recently changed owners hence the name change from Sushi Time to Umami Sushi. My go to was the Spicy Salmon Don from Sushi Time at an incredibly affordable price. To my surprise, I learned that Sushi Time has changed to Umami Sushi and the price had gone significantly up! I tried my go to meal anyways, but unfortunately did not taste the same. :( Friendly workers though. Maybe I'll try something else but I miss Sushi Time!“

“This delicious restaurant is located near the Central Station of the MRT Red Line. I came here for lunch this time and ordered Monfish fried rice-chicken. The portion was not a lot, but it tasted delicious. There was quite a lot of chicken, and the rice was fried quickly over high heat and was very fragrant. , and kale to increase the taste.
Visiting again for the second time, I ordered Thai drunken chicken noodle. The chicken was delicious, the noodles were tender and elastic, and the overall flavor was spicy and delicious.

“Just want to give a shout out to Osaka Lucky Garden. They were very accommodating and patient with my nana in a wheelchair ♿️ (Even when we came through the wrong entrance for that, when the rear has handicap access and parking).
