“Me and my wife love going to this place, we talk to the owner every time we are there and he makes every effort to make the perfect grilled cheese.

I myself love the classic American, and my wife loves pretty much anything on the menu. He has a wide range of items not just grill cheese.

Gets a full 5 stars from us.“

“I quite like the breakfast here. The 'Dad's Paying' is seriously the best thing around. Unfortunately prices were raised but that's to be expected these days. Would be a 5 star if they got the smell of that bathroom area under control. Renders the bar and booths near it useless as it smells horrific at all times. Sometimes it gets so bad it circulates throughout the restaurant. This never used to be the case so hopefully this gets fixed soon...“

“DELICIOUS FOOD in a relaxing atmosphere! My wife, son and I were very pleased with the friendly, helpful staff and the good food. I had the brisket shepherd's pie with a zucchini side (both were the "special" for the day) which came with corn bread and so good. My son had the 1-meat plate (pulled pork BBQ) with a baked sweet potato also with corn bread and very good and my wife had a salad. Sorry, I didn't pay attention to her salad as I was enjoying my meal so much but she said it was good. We had plenty left of all 3 meals to take home for leftovers. They have a ramp for easy access, our son is disabled so we really appreciated that, and outside seating with umbrellas. We'll definitely be back.

“My dad and I ate here last night before a show at Academy Music. Akasia was our server and we loved her. Our food was the best meal we have ever had together in all of our foodie ventures and we wish it was closer so we could go back. The steak tips were cut in house and resembled filet. The scallops were so good we got a second order. The salad was delicate but really great. My dad got the salmon and he is very picky on salmon, but it was incredible and he was delighted we made the choice to go there. I wish the oysters on the half shell were bigger, but the rest made up for it. My dad is in a wheelchair and everyone was super accommodating. Akasia was on point and knew we had a time crunch and accommodated that and also took some nice photos of us together. Great mock-tails and atmosphere was a 10. Hopefully one day soon we can make it back.“

“Went to Yankee Candle then needed to eat! This place was a little over a mile away . What a gold mine!! Easy to get to .. great parking! “My husband and I try to visit the Delaney House at least once a year. We went last night to celebrate our 6 year anniversary. Our server, Cali M, was great. She was experienced enough as a server to know to ask us if we were celebrating anything, and made it that much more special by bringing us complimentary glasses of delicious champagne. She had the perfect balance between checking in on us while not being over-bearing or making us feel rushed. The food, as always, was a 10/10 and we even tried new cocktails which were delicious. It was closer to when they close but our server, Amelia made sure that our dining experience was memorable. From the moment we were seated she was attentive, and friendly. “We're from Wisconsin and had breakfast March 31 in your restaurant. I wish I could remember our waitress' name, but she was delightful. I had the (canned)corned beef hash omelet and loved it. I've never seen an omelet shaped the way you serve it, but again it was terrific on looks alone! You folks do a marvelous job.“

The Culinary Arts Department at the Smith Vocational and Agricultural High School operates a student-run restaurant three days a week, Wednesday through Friday of most weeks, from 10:45 AM to 12:30 PM. The students, under the supervision of three chef instructors, learn every aspect of food preparation and service. There is menu service on Wednesdays and Thursdays and an all you can eat buffet on most Fridays, which is currently priced at only $15.00. The menu changes weekly and is posted online. Not sure if that's the norm for the dessert station but it should be. I love, love, love how charming they've kept it.“
