“Exceptional cocktail bar with very entertaining presentation! I got the Lock and Key which was an incredible milk punch with a lovely caramelized pineapple aroma and the Take Your Time, which was a unique old fashioned take that was complemented with savory toasted sesame! My partner got the Squid Games, which was very good as well. Our bartender Emma was very personable, walked us through the menu and helped us have a curated experience, and even provided tips on how to prepare milk punches. Exceptional service.

Price range was very reasonable in the 18-19 dollar per drink range. The atmosphere and lighting were lovely as well. We will definitely be coming back!“

I had a hard time deciding on which cocktail to get so I asked our waitress (I think her name was Kayla? So sorry!) for a recommendation and it hit the spot! We got tinned fish, delicious albeit a bit overpriced, bacon wrapped stuffed dates- get these if you like blue cheese because it was strong and split the cod curry which was so yummy!“

“500 Ocean is a beautiful property with some amazing amenities. It is in a great location, surrounded by ocean views, restaurants and very accessible to the T, literally right below the building. My husband and I had a great experience living here and had rarely any issues. The main issue we had at move-in was addressed and we were even offered a small gift for the inconvenience. I love the maintenance staff and they are always so pleasant and helpful. One of my favorite parts of living here was having an in-house fitness coach/ personal trainer- Cienna Jade! She is so amazing to work with and has really helped me along my fitness journey. It was so convenient having her come to the 500 Ocean gym, which is one of the best gyms I've seen in an apartment home. She conducts 1 on 1 sessions and will literally work with you on scheduling a time that's convenient for you as well as offering group or couple sessions! Overall, very pleasant experience!“

She also made sure I felt confident in knowing that all of the food was safe for my peanut, tree-nut, and sesame allergies and even the dessert (which was so amazing please try the 7 layer espresso cake) was safe for me to celebrate my birthday. “My wife and I visited Square Cafe in Hingham last night and we had an awesome dinner! I can't say enough good things about this place. Probably one of THE BEST meals I've had in a long time when dining out. The food...all of it....our appetizers, entrees and dessert was outstanding! Our waiter Jamis was the best! If you haven't tried Square Cafe, do yourself a favor and give it a try. We will definitely be a repeat customer!“

“Tried this place for the first time for lunch. Was getting tired of going to all the usual places. I’m very glad I did.

Food: this is one of the few places I’ve seen where you can order goat (and this place is in a mall food court!) so I had to try. I got the Goat curry (medium spice) and it was what I expected of goat and so much more! If you have never eaten goat, it can be a bit chewy and maybe more fatty compared to other meat, and this is served on the bone so be careful when you eat as bone chips can be around in the sauce. Medium spice was good for me, added zip without taking away from the flavor, but a softer palate might think it is too spicy. It came with a portion of long grain basmati rice. It was enough for me but the curry portion could probably cover two rice portions. So if you like a lot of rice, add an extra order. I very much enjoyed the food.

Service: gave them a 5 for service. It was easy to order online and my order was ready right on time. The staff that served me was kind and asked if I wanted utensils. When I said yes she asked if was eating in the food court and when I told her I was she added in a plate so I didn’t have to eat off the bag/out of the containers.

Atmosphere: atmosphere is three because it’s a mall food court - not much else to add.

Will absolutely be eating here again.“

“Here for work, missed lunch traveling, was at the bar/restaurant right at open at 4 for just a quick bite. Ordered the lobster roll (when in Rome, right) and it came loaded with both lobster and a huge side of fries. Wasn’t expecting all of that, left fries even. Lobster could have used a pinch of salt but no complaints really.“

“I had the steak tips cooked medium but it came out well done. My amazing server took it back immediately and brought out a Caesar salad for me while I waited for a new order of steak tips. She even took the steak tips off the bill which was much appreciated. Also my boyfriend's ribs came out cold which was disappointing but they just remade his order. We didn't get handed the Valentine's Day menu until after our meal which sucked because it says the dinner menu starts at 3 pm. But overall amazing place with such great staff and good drinks.“
