“I was getting some work done on my car nearby and needed to kill a half hour or so. Kind of hidden/not super noticable from the outside, very cute pharmacy counter inside with a lot of cheap breakfast options. They are cash only (there's an ATM, $2 fee at time of posting).

I just got scrambled eggs with bacon and toast, SUPER reasonably priced, mostly older folks were there, eating and chatting or playing Keno.

The other patrons and the staff were all super chatty and kind. I honestly had a delightful time, if I lived closer I'd find excuses to come by all the time, great vibes.“

“The best place for lunch in Boston! Don't miss the Turkey #2 sando; the Turkey #1 is also very good and tasty. It’s the only place we ate at twice during the week we visited Boston. Was able to wait/ eat inside at the little counter even with the bulk of my jacket. Probably the most delicious breakfast sandwich I ever had/ will ever have. The bacon was perfect and the sourdough was insane. I was worried about it being too greasy and heavy but it was actually fine. The two guys working were great and friendly. “Very friendly atmosphere and accommodating to our youngest who is wheelchair bound. Nice little spot with a mom and pop feel to it. Food was very tasteful and service was wonderful! “Went a few weeks ago Saturday morning and went back again today, 12/28 in the morning. Good food and service. However there are only 4 booths and high stools. I can’t sit on a high stool and I know that someday there won’t be any tables available. Otherwise great place.“

Went to Mike and Patty’s in high rise and they had no bacon so we left and found this place. 2 egg, toast, homefries and bacon with coffee for two was $20. Total. “I have been going to Maryann's for a while. Its a local breakfast and lunch place. All the food is cooked to order by Bob the Owner. I usually go for Breakfast but Lunch items are available as well. It is usually a 1 person operation except for Saturdays when Georgia usually works as a Server. Coffee is freshly brewed and very tasty. it is cash only but the gas station across the road has an ATM. Give them a try.“

“We came here MULTIPLE times and it’s become our go-to for brunch! A great local mom and pop run diner in Watertown. We had omelets, lattes, breakfast tacos, chilaquiles, etc. and always enjoyed ourselves.
Dining area inside is small but cozy and quaint, perfect for anyone willing to smoosh themselves in during busy hours. Otherwise there’s plenty of outside seating and on a nice day, it’s the best.
We saw the same hard working people every time we went. It’s clear they’re a local spot and well worth investing in.
My favorite part is you see all ages at this diner- newborn babies, high school dates, families, to senior groups chatting over coffee.“

Came with the right amount of everything so if you wanted more or less, it was up to you. Ofc onion, tomato and capers. Suggest with jalapeño cheddar and scallion CC. “We have been there many times for breakfast and the food, wait staff and atmosphere are outstanding. They have the BEST hot chocolate I've ever had! The food is always cooked to my satisfaction, I always have leftovers to bring home and the pancakes are amazingly light and fluffy, as well as very large! I can't say enough good things about them. My husband and I go there at least once every 2 weeks now that we're retired. There is ample parking and it is very easy to get to. I've noticed a lot of regulars now that we go there so often, and that's always a good sign. I highly recommend it. Our son, who is vegetarian, has no problem finding items he can eat and even he's impressed with it. It's the best breakfast place around and we won't go to any others, even Newcomb Farms, which used to be our favorite.“

“When I lived in Dorchester, I could hardly believe how old this is. Build 84 years before this became a country outstanding! There are a lot of historical buildings in Boston, they are a must-see when you visit. Just try to street clear of the Mass ave nonsense.“

This location is fantastic. My dad and I ate here on New Years Day. It was pretty busy for a holiday and considering the weather was bad. I got the original pancakes and I'm not sure what my dad got. Food was fantastic, literally the best pancakes I've ever had. Service was also very good. I'm definitely coming back.

I think some people just love to complain. No complaints from me. We were in and out in under 40 minutes. Food is delicious“

“Small neighborhood greasy spoon diner with generous portions and an excellent breakfast menu. Numerous daily specials including omelets, stuffed French toast and benedicts. I had the William Wallace omelet with fresh apples inside for a sweet savory and my girlfriend had one with avocado, broccoli and spinach. Service was polite and self service coffee was available. Not necessarily a destination for brunch but a nice place if you live in the neighborhood.“
