She had a judgmental and unhelpful attitude while we were choosing our meals. She suddenly brought the check even though we didn't ask for it, as if she wanted us to leave.“

“Stopped in on a Thursday night with the family, no reservations, and waited about 35 minutes for a table. Totally worth it.

We ordered two pizzas, the burrata salad, and a charcuterie board, and everything hit the mark. The pizzas were perfectly cooked, great crust and flavor, the burrata was fresh and creamy, and the charcuterie board was exactly what you’d hope for—quality meats and cheeses done right.

Food came out quick, service was friendly and efficient, and the overall vibe was casual but lively.

“The food and drinks were excellent. 5:30 reservation right when they opened-probably wouldn't do that again. Everyone got sat at the same time and made for a long wait. Didnt get drinks until 5:52. Total dining time was 2 hours. Found street parking but I can see where this wouldn't be as possible during busier times of year. Bar is first come first serve and people start lining up around 4:30.“

Poe-lenta at the Time Out Market in 401 Park is a place that really impressed me. The portions were exactly right, filling without being overwhelming, and the flavors came together beautifully. Every bite felt balanced and carefully prepared, turning a simple dish into something memorable.

The service was outstanding. My food was ready within two minutes, which is incredibly fast, and the staff were genuinely kind and attentive. They even took the time to show me photos of the different meals before I ordered, which made the whole process much easier and more enjoyable. That kind of personal touch made the visit feel special.

One thing to keep in mind is that they only accept card payments, no cash, but for me that was a small detail in an otherwise excellent experience.

Allspice in the stuffed grape leaves make them worth coming back for, not something I think I've ever said about stuffed grape leaves before. Most unforgettable was the red lentil soup with its soft rich velvety texture over two or three layers of different delicious flavors. Great first impression, can't wait to go back, solid A leaning toward A+.“

I had the steak frites which was really delicious, and a side of cabbage slaw which I was on the fence about. The only word I can think of to describe the texture is “viscous”. Hubby got the blue plate special which was tamales. He wasn’t blown away. But of course the deserts at Veggie Galaxy more than make up for any disappointment about dinner! “This place is fantastic. Took a work group of 7 there for dinner. The food - from the lamb ribs, lamb burger, and appetizers were fabulous. The service was also excellent - prompt, friendly and a great help with recommendations. This is not a fancy 5 star restaurant nor does it try to be. Casual atmosphere with outstanding food and service. Will be back!“
