“What a find! I found this a bit off the beaten path. But SOOO worth it! The 'Everything' sauce 9n the Fish and Chips was amazing! Almost seemed like they were using the pickled banana peppers as the base. Tie that with cilantro and a few other items and you have a real winner here.The sauce on the Shrimp had a similar flare to it, but tomato based (or just mixed in).So think about this a minute. You have a sauce with some pickle flavor. You add salt to your liking (I added a lot) and you have a very interesting flavor for the fries! Genius!The Chicken Dinner was an outside the box way for me to go surf and turf. The seasoning had explosive flavor. Just wonderful!I can't wait to go back for the Salmon!“

“This was our first time dining at Capital Grille and it won't be our last! It was our anniversary and they had a large booth decorated with hearts and a Happy Anniversary sign! I love little touches like that. Our server Jorge was such a delight. His service felt like it was customized to us only even though we could clearly see he had other guests . From interesting little facts to sharing personal stories, we loved our server for making the night wonderful!! From our champagne toast, to our anniversary cake dessert. Everything was wonderful. The way everyone works as a team to make the experience amazing! Our food was sooo good!! Hats off to the chef's!! We started with fresh oysters and this amazing thick cut bacon( sauce on side). The bacon was so good, we brought some home. I had surf and turf, the hubby had the NY strip . Both steaks cooked to perfection ( seen with a light to make sure) . I was only able to eat my lobster tail because I was full, but wow, giant, cooked perfect and tasted so good, you did not need the butter! My husband loved his NY strip as well. We are big steak people ! We will be back , we usually go to another steakhouse in the area for our anniversary, but I think we have a new place!!! Thank You for a wonderful night Capital Grille !!“

“This was my first time eating at shaking crab. Tbh the food was absolutely AMAZING! For one person the boils come in a bag. For two people it comes in a tin. Either way it was amazing. We got the Cajun regular and it had a little spice but nothing over powering. Service was great! I accidentally dropped my cup because my hands were slippery and the staff was super chill about it. This is definitely not a fine dining place. You truly do eat with your hands and get hella messy. They provide gloves and a bib. The ONLY thing I did not like is the apps came out the same time as the food. Next time apps will be placed before the food. But other than that. ZERO complaints.“

“What can I say? Avenue N is definitely one of the best in the state for farm to table comfort food and cocktails. However they really outdid themselves with, what I would call, the new “it” dinner option- the birrio burger. Every bite has flavor & every bite melts in your mouth. I hope this becomes a weekly special due to its uniqueness. My “pear-suasion” drink complimented it perfectly. As always the staff there is top notch. Definitely make a reservation for an epic experience. PS please change up your dessert menu. We need some new creations.“

“So, my son ordered the chowder...I had a bite, it was amazing. Service was top notch. However, my filet was literally white when I cut into it. Unacceptable. The wait staff took it away, they promised it would be right on second attempt and it was. The manager came by and took it off my bill as well as my glass of wine. Acceptable. “What do I recommend….Absolutely everything ! This is the Italian restaurant experience everyone should have. You’re treated like family. The food is absolutely delicious. Every dish that came to our table looked and tasted like the main ingredient is love. If you are fortunate enough to go when Mama’s stuffed squash flowers are on the specials menu, you better try them. Isabella our waitress was absolutely amazing. “Everything I've ever bought was delicious. So far I've had the chicken parm calzone, slices of pepperoni pizza and Greek salad and they were all great. The bread they give on the side of the salads is also delicious ? I don't usually crave salads but when I do, I get them here“

“I was excited to hear that Hometown Poke opened up a café in the Mount Hope area. The owners are extremely friendly and hardworking, and so I was happy to see their dreams unfolding. Additionally, I really enjoy the fact that Hometown Poke sources their ingredients and products locally whenever possible from New England vendors, meaning when you support them you are supporting our community. The café is very spacious, with a combination of large and small tables to accommodate all guests sizes. The decorations are trendy, minimalist, and overall a great space for dining or enjoying a cup of coffee. When you’re ready to order, you can choose from one of their signature bowls or build your own. I decided to build my own poke bowl with mixed greens, chicken, and all the fixings that I liked. Truly a wonderful and delicious experience! And just an FYI, their protein portions are large compared to most poke places! I decided to try their South Toast which had ricotta, sea salt, thick cut bacon and local honey. It was delicious! I need to try the others next time i visit. I also got a matcha latte which was nice and warm for a cold fall afternoon. Overall I really enjoyed my time at Hometown Poke and will definitely be back to try more!“

“My friend, Scott, took me to Haruki last night for dinner, knowing that I’m OBSESSED with sushi, the same way he is. He insisted that it would be worth the drive from Rochester, MA (my location) to Cranston, raving, “It’s the BEST!” and promising me that I won’t be disappointed. I’ll tell you this… he was not wrong!! From the sushi, to the service… A++++ Their entire staff is full of joyous energy and are super on top of everything. It’s so refreshing to see a place of business full of an entire group of people all working so wonderfully together. Getting their ish done like champs all while laughing, smiling, helping, but most importantly, they are all HAPPY. That happiness is infectious. Looking around the restaurant, all you could see was a place full of love, though and through. Our waiter, Tony, was SUCH a sweetheart. Though it was a busy night, he made time to chat with us throughout service. He knows Scott since he’s been a long-time customer. At the end of dinner, Tony truly showed his appreciation to Scotty for being a valued customer for so long by treating us to one of their most delicious bottles of saké, on the house. It was so smooth and delicious. Between the sushi being absolutely phenomenal… I’m talking OUT OF THIS WORLD (and I’m a sushi snob and a half), the rocking staff, the pleasant atmosphere and the fantastic prices, you really can’t beat this gem of a place. “My husband and I went for the first time on Saturday and sat at the bar. We ordered apps and cocktails and of course oysters. Best oysters in RI by far believe it or not. Drinks were ok but food fabulous! Would have given 5 stars if not for the bartender. She focused solely on my husband the entire time even gave him a free drink. It was very obvious and blatant disrespect to me. My husband even commented on feeling uncomfortable. As a former bartender the general rule is to pay more attention to the wife than the husband out of respect but also because most often the wife is writing the tip. We will for sure be going back but will sit at a table and maybe only order sparkling water.“

“I order on doordash often: they always read and apply my modifications and it's SO GOOD as a result..many restaurants that are otherwise good ignore requests like 'no cilatro' or 'no ketchup', but Samayoa always does me right. Great birria, great fries, great quesadillas, great burritos, great in general. Central falls Mexican is always good, and samayoa is the great Mexican that also cares about your requested modifications. Thank God. Love em.“

The side salad was more like a full salad in other restaurants but at a side price. The pasta and sauce were excellent. Bthrnfreah baked bread was worth waiting for n our server was prompt and checked in enough to show he was there for our needs. We weren't expecting much when we say the outside. Our hosts were warm and friendly and apologized for not being able to serve us at a table inside due the pandemic. I honestly can’t wait for life to return to normal so I can return to this gem of a restaurant for the whole experience (including Sangria). “3 Restaurant is my new favorite brunch spot. Kerry-Lynn and her trainee did a fabulous job waiting on us this past Sunday. The attention to detail and attentiveness didn't go unnoticed. I was a huge fan of the Pickle Bloody Mary. Everything from the Buffalo Cauliflower to the two brunch entrees we're delicious and seasoned to perfection. I'm glad we took the half-hour jaunt to try this place out. Look forward to visiting again for brunch and try dinner!“
