“Very small and tucked away; but an absolute gem!! I ate here for the second time today with my mother (a pescatarian) and there were plenty of options for both of us. We personally recommend the fried rice options, but anything is good! Staff were very welcoming and friendly, service was pretty quick. Got a milk tea to go afterwards and it’s a 10/10 as well. Pricing is very fair and portions are large; If ordering a main dish, expect to either share or bring home more than enough for leftovers!!
Vegetarian options: Plenty of vegetarian, vegan, and pescatarian options present on all sections of the menu.“

“Very authentic traditional Cantonese Chinese cuisine. Food is delicious and this place is one of my favorite Chinese restaurants in the area. I'm not talking about spring rolls or crab rangoons, but real Chinese food.
They also have Chinese BBQ inside, like crackling pork, roast pork, roast duck, soy sauce chicken. You can also order these for takeout.
Service is usually good but can get busy if restaurant is full sometimes. Atmosphere is good, but can get crowded if restaurant is full. Great for lunch when it's less busy, and great place for a family dinner.
Price is fair. $10-20 for individual, and of course family style would be more.
Free street parking around the area.“

“This restaurant is mostly good. Ate there on 4th of July and my findings were in agreement with others: small restaurant with good food, reasonably priced but some other customers were loud. Recommend getting there early to avoid waiting. Street parking only - don't park in the nearby small bakery parking lot or you'll get towed.“

“What a soup indeed! The broth in the boat noodles is so flavorful and hearty. The spice level of hot is perfect for me who likes a good amount of heat. Prices are very reasonable for the big portion you get with lots of meat and noodles. Haven't eaten in, so I can't rate service and atmosphere, but I will dine in sometime soon.
Only issue is I haven't received tendon in my beef and tendon noodles twice. May be an issue with the ordering method because both times were through Doordash. Is tendon not included for delivery or perhaps a listing mixup? Disappointed because I was looking forward to the beef tendon, but still very tasty.“

“Tried the chicken gyro at Opa Greek Gyro and really enjoyed it! The meat was flavorful and tender, and everything tasted fresh. Portion size was just right, and the pita was soft and warm. Definitely a solid spot if you’re craving a good gyro. Will be coming back to try more from the menu!“

“The Halloumi Cheese Pita and/or Plates with Charred Eggplant and Garlic Skordalia spreads are my favorites. I especially love the Charred Eggplant spread as it’s extremely tasty and unique. I don’t recommend getting meat as the protein as it’s usually pretty dry.
The Zucchini Chips are also my go-to side dish.
The Loukomades (Greek donuts) are good, but nothing special.
It’s a bit hard to navigate in the Newbury location when it’s crowded as it’s so small“

“Had a wonderful time, especially thanks to the tour guide(s) at 4 pm. The main leader, “Sarah,” definitely made the experience worthwhile. There was a giant group of young kids that weren’t paying much attention (as young kids do-not a complaint) yet we were able to learn and enjoy the amazing museum and experiences nonetheless. They were very accommodating, humorous, and well equipped to handle large groups of people while keeping their attention. We liked the experience and would go back.“

“A five star restaurant for Sichuan food - one of the best in Boston! Foods are delicious and fresh. Recommend dessert menus as well. Atmosphere is cute and young. Serving is friendly. Restroom is clean and roomy. On the way, kitchen is open for one to have a peek and looks neat. The location could be tricky to find if you drive as its located on the narrow Commonweath ave branched off the main ave. So make sure you drive into the branch ave between the subway railroad and buildings.“

“If you’re craving authentic Korean comfort food in Boston, Seoul Soulongtang in Allston is hands down the place to go. Their signature Soulongtang — a traditional ox bone soup — is deeply satisfying, especially on a cold day or when you just need something hearty and restorative.
My favorite is the classic Soulongtang with brisket and noodles. The broth is rich, milky, and full of umami from hours of slow simmering. I love how they serve it unseasoned, so you can adjust the flavor with the salt, pepper, and chopped scallions on the side — just like they do in Korea. The brisket is tender and flavorful, while the glass noodles have a perfect chewy texture.
Beyond the soup, the banchan here is excellent, especially the house-made kimchi and radish kimchi. They’re fresh, well-fermented, and they complement the mildness of the broth beautifully.
The restaurant itself is cozy and clean with a casual vibe, and the service is consistently quick and friendly. Whether you’re dining solo or with friends, it’s a great spot for an affordable, comforting meal.
If you’ve never had Soulongtang before, Seoul Soulongtang Boston is the perfect place to try it. I always leave feeling full and happy.“

“These are the best soup dumplings I’ve ever had and the pan fried dumplings and turnip cakes were also top notch.
This place is a small casual spot with a few tables inside the Kam Man grocery store (when you enter the building, go straight and it will be on your right). Service is lovely. We also bought dumplings to make at home.
Highly recommend!“
