“Thank you to Chef Jon for allowing us to pick up a package of frozen dumplings during our visit to Artifact on Memorial Day. Cooked them up tonight and they were delicious, as was the edamame salad!!”
“What a gem. I’ve been to Junebug three times now and each experience has been awesome. The pizza is incredible, the cocktails are fantastic, and the service has been excellent every time. My husband and I took my mother here for her birthday in May and she is still talking about how much she loved Junebug and wants to come back.”
“One of my all time favorite spots in Somerville never had a bad meal. Great vibe and service always suggests it as one of the top spots in Somerville.”
“This was our second time dining at Ebi Sushi, and just like our first visit, everything was fantastic. The food is fresh, flavorful, and beautifully prepared every time. Our server, Amanda, was wonderful friendly, attentive, and made sure we had everything we needed without ever feeling rushed. It’s service like hers that really adds to the experience. Jose, the owner, has truly outdone himself with this place. You can tell he takes great pride in what he’s built from the quality of the dishes to the amazing team that brings it all together. We’ll definitely be back again before the new location opens, and we’re looking forward to visiting that one as well. Ebi Sushi has become one of our favorite date night spots consistently great food, great people, and a great vibe. 🍣❤️”

“Nice place to grabe something and go! They place itself is kind of small, so I wouldn't count on getting a seat. The staff is chill and friendly. We got the Feta and Cheese, Pepper Biscuit with sausage, and ice cortado with oat milk, and a mocha with maple brown sugar. The food was good, and the coffee was pretty soild. Kinda pricey though.”
“Melissa brought me the vegan empanadas they had made with their collab with Impossible meat. And do you know how hard it was to not eat all 4 at once?! So flavorful and yummy! The ingredients were well distributed throughout, the dough was absolutely delicious and everything was perfectly cooked. Everything she does is amazing and I can’t wait to see what she comes up with next!”
“Genuinely the best breakfast sandwich I have ever had and up there with some of my all time favorite things I’ve ever eaten. It’s very clear the owner puts so much effort, love, and care into making really delicious and hearty food.
Can’t recommend enough!
It is important to note that it’s take out only, but you’re right in Davis so the location could not be more perfect for sitting in the shade to enjoy your treats :)”

“This was the best night out I’ve had with my husband in a long time. The food was spectacular- I suggest the mezze platter so you can try everything, and of course the koshari. The mushroom fritters they had as a special were divine. The atmosphere and quality of service were top-notch and we will absolutely be coming here regularly.”
“Excellent food good service people would smile on their faces nice cool and place inside and outside you could eat. I come here with my colleagues and I come here with my family members. Just love the drinks. Make sure you ordered the ribeye is delicious here I love the lamb strips Taki sauce and pita bread is my favorite.”
“We had such a wonderful dining experience, largely thanks to Milli! From the moment we sat down, she was warm, attentive, and genuinely friendly. She took the time to walk us through the menu, gave great recommendations based on what we were in the mood for, and checked in just the right amount - never too much, never too little. Even when the restaurant got busy, Milli stayed calm, kept a smile on her face, and made sure our drinks were always topped up and our food came out perfectly timed. She clearly cares about giving guests a great experience, and it showed in every interaction. Service like this is what turns a good meal into a memorable one. If you're dining here, ask for Milli - she'll take great care of you. Will definitely be back!”
“Celeste is an excellent restaurant. The restaurant itself is charming and warm, the dishes were innovative and fresh, and the service was quick and helpful. The attention to detail was impressive - you'll see what I mean when you go. My favorite dish was definitely the Tucuma Mousse; it was luscious and subtle and different from anything I've had before.”
“Top notch experience from the moment we entered the restaurant and were seated. Excellent service, beautiful decor, delicious food. Everything was perfect. I will return!”
“The food was incredible and everyone was super friendly. I’m glad we stopped in!”

“Seemingly the only place in this entire city you can get fries at 6 am. All the mcdonald’s are somehow closed even though their hours on google say open or they straight up don’t offer fries in the morning, seriously what kind of fast food place sets hours on their fries? The people here even asked if I wanted ketchup after I forgot 10/10”
“This was my Daughter's birthday weekend and we wanted to Take her to one of the places that Guy Fieri Visited for DDD...making memories. What we got was so much more. Truthfully the Best dining experience we have EVER experienced. The hostess was super friendly and immediately made accommodations due to the fact that I am currently in a wheelchair. The atmosphere was astonishing!!! The food...we truly cannot say enough good things about an are planning when to take the trip from Vermont again to get more. We were blown away . However the highlight of our evening hands down was our Server Kevin!!! He made my Daughter's night ...focused on making her smile and gave her a piece of cheesecake to celebrate. We will remember this forever and simply cannot thank you enough”

“First time at Olde Magoun's Saloon. Beyond amazing food and service. Our waiter ( didn't catch him name) tall gentleman with a beard was phenomenal! Friendly and efficient!!! The food was savory and fresh. We enjoyed the Irish Chicken Curry and the Besto Pesto sandwich!! First time to Boston and by far our favorite meal here.”
“For years, I breezed past this spot, assuming it was just and old convenience store. Little did I know, I was missing out on some good sandwich deals. A few months back, I discovered they were slinging subs, so I stopped by a couple times to grab some cold subs.
P&K has been a neighborhood fixture for over seven decades, and you can feel that old-school charm the moment you meet the owner. He’s the kind of guy who’s always friendly and never skimps on the toppings—generosity is clearly baked into the business. While the sandwiches aren’t quite the size of Al’s famous subs, they still pack great value, and honestly, they’re hefty enough that I rarely manage to finish one for breakfast. My favorites so far were the seafood salad and the classic Italian sandwich.
Definitely recommend stopping by if you’re looking for no-frills, classic Italian subs. Just keep in mind that the hot subs aren’t usually available until after 10am.”
“First time visiting. We visit a lot of Mexican restaurants in and around the North Shore, and have our favorites. This is for sure a new favorite for us. The customer service at the location in Malden was excellent, our waitress was so polite, personable, and the right amount of attentive. The restaurant was spotless, I mean, SPOTLESS, including the restroom. The rest of the staff checked in, and the food was excellent.”

“The most delicious pastries ever. If you love pistachio the way I do you will have trouble choosing and it is ALL great. But I particularly love the savories. The Palestinian bread and the flatbread with the green topping (forget what it's called) is a family favorite. We adore these; the flatbreads are a great quick lunch. But so so delicious, fresh, we are so fortunate to have you here!”
“Hands down best bar in Boston. It's this generation version of cheers. Amazing to watch any game in and if you're not a Pat's even better. Although I miss the OG huevos rancheros the food is always on point and I've never had a bad meal there. I bike from beacon Hill where I'm surrounded by bars but theres only one I'd go out of my way to catch a game or grab brunch. It's parlor sports. I'll fight anyone that says otherwise to the above.”
“This cafe is special, particularly for their pastries, which are better than most I've found in the Boston area. It also has a lovely ambience inside and on the patio. The owner appears to be French and he's bringing a simple, authentic French experience in the cafe. Crucially, it's very spacious so you can almost always find a table even at peak times. We also love the cocktails (very well made) and food in the evening.”
“I was just in the mood for some Brazilian type pastries for lunch, and looked it up on Yelp! My daughter and I drove from Woburn to Somerville and ordered an assortment of goods... You know when you experience something that takes you back to your childhood?? This was it for me...the ambience, the friendliness, and the flavors. Me, my daughter and my inner child drove home with smiles on our faces with food for my wife and my mother to enjoy!!! Amazing! We’ll be back soon!”
“The staff is extremely hospitable and is always happy to see a guest come into the shop- it’s such a great place to spend a morning having a snack and some coffee. The concept is really great- several friends who created a business together. Their treatment of customers clearly aligns with that.
The food, pastries, and desserts are phenomenal and their cakes, whole regular cake or custom design, are delicious and always turn out beautiful. They are also very willing to try to work to accommodate a customer on a custom cake or cupcake order.
If you’re looking for a real matcha latte and not a “cafe matcha”, theirs is delicious. While I’m not able to handle the punch of caffeine in their Vietnamese coffee too frequently, it is also delicious. Any of their teas or fruit-centered drinks are also great. I would highly recommend a strawberry jasmine with popping boba.
They do have parking behind the building, but just be sure to go in and grab a parking pass before sitting down for breakfast or dessert.
While it can get pricier with more items added to your order, it’s exceptionally clear that the prices support their business model- which focuses on a great customer experience while also providing good wages and a great working environment for all staff members.”

Cheap Eats
“Love this place. They have great sushi and Poke bowls. The staff is so nice every time I’ve been there and I eat there a lot. Toast also lists what contains gluten so very easy to have things gluten free and they have GF soy sauce. For those with gluten allergy they are careful with CC and I’ve never had a reaction. Highly recommend!”
“Picked up some excellent (very reasonably priced) Portuguese bread loaf earlier today.
Will drop by for some additional breads to take away tomorrow too.
Good service!
Curiously, was told not to take pictures inside the store, even when I mentioned that I will pit up a Google review - of their excellent breads. My son in law, who had accompanied me shared a couple he had taken inside the establishment
Obrigada!! For the excellent breads.”
“Thank you Alan and Lotus Xpress for catering my husband's surprise 50th birthday party. Alan, you were wonderful to work with during the planning process- providing options and tending to all the details. The food was AMAZING! Delicious and a great variety. The day of the event, it was such a relief to have you there- catering to our 75 guests. As the host of the party, it gave me great ease knowing you were tending to the buffet and I was able to relax and tend to the guests! The food made the event. Thank you for helping make the event a success!”
“The service was great and the food was delicious. I went in and got some take out. Once the food was brought out I asked if I could eat a little bit at a table. My server allowed me to and brought me some water and side dishes. I got the jjambbong seafood noodles. I was assuming it would have a strong seafood taste but to my surprise it was a very mellow lime’ish taste. The broth was delicious and the noodles were a perfect blend of springy and chewy and held onto the broth great. It is a bit pricey but so are most restaurants. If your ever in the area I absolutely recommend buk kyung”
“We usually order from a different Shawarma place in Somerville, but decided to give Sam's a try. The food was very good, and in good sized portions. They were good about following requests to leave things out of the wraps. Note that they do the style with fries on the side rather than in the wrap. My only complaint is that they list some, but not all, of the ingredients on their site. So if you have things you can't eat, I definitely recommend calling them to double check. My partner can't do creamy sauces, and they listed tahini sauce but not garlic sauce in the lamb/beef shawarma, which ended up being a problem. Not a huge thing, just annoying that they make it look like everything is listed when it isn't.”
“Utterly delicious! Got a spicy beef bowl and it fixed me. I was meeting some friends and didn't have time to research any gluten free options in the area. Took a chance on this place and the hostess was very considerate of my dietary needs. Will definitely order again in the future!”

“The energy of this space is as loving and chic as Somerville itself; looking forward to becoming a regular!”

“In town for our 20th wedding anniversary and decided to give Earls a try. So glad we did. The food and the atmosphere were great. However, what truly made the evening extraordinary was the service. Our waitress, Jennifer, was spectacular. She took the time to walk us through the menu, made excellent recommendations, and just showed an interest in making sure our dinner was perfect. And for an extra, she provided us with a wonderful dessert on the house.
Also want to make a special mention to one of the managers, Mimi. Mimi greeted us as we sat down and brought us complimentary champagne to celebrate our anniversary. She was so professional and just an overall kind soul. It is evident that she loves her job and goes out of her way to ensure all of Earls customers receive excellent service.
Like I said, the food was fantastic, but the service here at Earls is second to none. Thank you both for a wonderful and memorable evening. Will definitely return and will recommend to our friends.”
“We are in Cambridge for a few nights and found Dali being a restaurant nearby. It turned out to be an unexpected surprise. Luckily we made reservation as the restaurant was packed. The menu was extensive; the service was friendly; the meal was served quickly and delicious and the atmosphere was great. We ordered 4 tapas plus an order of focaccia and a bottle of wine. All come to less than $100 not including tips. A must try in Cambridge, MA.”

“Love this smaller location in assembly row . I sat at the bar and the bartender was not only very nice but she also made a very good old fashioned . I had the French onion soup and brussel sprouts and also a ny strip . Everything was cooked perfect and delicious . I would highly recommend this location”
“Legal Sea Foods - Somerville was amazing with food allergies (dairy, eggs, nuts, and gluten). They had dairy free buns and also gluten buns as well as dinner rolls. The chef got creative to make my dairy free/egg free lobster roll taste amazing. The food came out quickly and our server was wonderful!”
“I originally decided to visit this restaurant because of its positive Google reviews, so I wanted to share my own experience as well.
Overall, I really enjoyed the food. We did have to wait quite a while for our meals, but since we ordered steaks, I found the wait understandable and acceptable.
One thing I truly appreciated was that we were seated at what felt like one of the best tables in the restaurant. The atmosphere was beautiful, and the staff were friendly, attentive, and professional throughout our visit.
The only downside was the music. The volume was quite loud, and while it started with softer background music, it would occasionally switch to much more energetic songs at a higher volume. Because of that, it was difficult to have a comfortable conversation at the table.
We were actually enjoying our meal and would have liked to stay longer, but the noise level ultimately led us to leave sooner than planned. Aside from that, we were very satisfied with the experience, especially the food, atmosphere, and service”

“This place deserves every bit of praise it gets! They really know how to put on a great event and everything feels so well organized and fun. The food and cocktails are incredible, the staff and owner are some of the best around, and the prices are seriously great for the Boston area. Whether you’re coming for an event or just to eat and drink, you will not be disappointed. This place is a gem!”
“I frequent this brunch spot on several occasions. whether I come alone or with company this place always gets me right. It’s perfect place for quality food run by an amazing family. Everyone is greeted with a smile, and the hospitality is second to none. I recall the owner’s son going out of his way to help an elderly customer carry a large takeout order to their car, which perfectly reflects the caring atmosphere here. Fresh breakfasts, delicious falafel, plenty of menu choices, and genuinely good people. Highly recommend supporting this family owned restaurant.”
“Today a group of us visited Gerly’s ice cream and we were most pleasantly impressed by the real freshness of the flavors like everything stood out. Nothing was muddled. The bananas were real. The fig was real. The goat cheese was real. It just was so natural tasting. We also really enjoyed talking with the “man behind the counter.” He said he was a cousin of the owner. He was super knowledgeable and informed us about the ice cream workshops and about how people from near and far came for the nut free ice cream options. I would really like the decor and the interior of the store to match the richness and decadence of the ice cream itself. The look of the store does not quite match the awesomeness of the ice cream. Please try this ice cream… it is so good! Some of the best ice cream I have ever had!”
“Quaint little bakery and cafe! I’ve been dying to have more salt bread in my life, but this place’s hours are a bit wonky. To my surprise, they were open Fourth of July, so I stopped by for some breakfast snacks.
I got the salt and butter bread, blueberry sunrise, and strawberry white chocolate sunrise.
The salt and butter bread was a bit disappointing. It was chewy rather than fluffy. But it was quite large which is nice.
The sunrise buns had nice crispy tops. I liked the blueberry the most. It had more fruity flavor than the strawberry.
I also grab be a hojicha tea to cool down. Super refreshing!”
“We have been going here atleast once a week since it’s opened- it’s our favorite! DELCIOUS offerings, super kind and helpful staff, and they are always having something new and exciting to try.
It’s a perfect way to refresh your day!
My sons love getting to know the staff- Mena is always so kind😍”
“K-bok is one of my new favorite spots, the staff are so nice & welcoming, the food is very good. I had the original fried chicken with no sauce, pickled radish and fried veggie dumplings (Veggie Mini Mandu/fried). There was a female DJ, she was great. I think her name is DJ NYAF. She set a dope vibe. I was surprised to find out she was using vinyl records too. It elevated the atmosphere. If it were not for her, I would only put 3 stars but with her there was definitely a 5 stars atmosphere. The drinks were cool. I had a Lychee Margarita. It was really really good. I would go back again. I hope the same DJ will be there. I went in because I could hear the music from outside. The door was open and saw they had a DJ, a bar, dance floor and it is connected for restaurant. The bathrooms are clean and nice but stall are the small size to point of being cramped in one of them. I do not think they all the stalls are the same size. The entire space for the bathroom is small. It would be hard for more 2 people to comfortably be in the bathroom and waiting to use the sink. There are 3 stall but I am not sure if they could fit to wash their hands after using the bathroom at the same time. Other than that. It is still a nice spot.”
“Public Tavern is a great spot to grab drinks and watch your favorite game. We usually go for Trivia Thursdays, which are always a fun time, and the $3 appetizer deal is a nice bonus. The mozzarella sticks are surprisingly good and definitely worth ordering.
It can get busy, and with usually only two bartenders managing the crowd, service can feel a little slow at times. That said, the staff handles the rush as best as they can.
Seating can also be a challenge. There often are not enough chairs, and if you arrive late to an event, you will likely be standing since someone else will have already taken the available seats.
The cocktails were somewhat hit or miss. The caipirinha felt a bit watered down and lacked the punch I was expecting, though the espresso martini was solid.
Overall, it is a fun, lively place for trivia nights and game days. With a bit more consistency in the cocktails, it would easily be a five-star experience.”
“I ordered pick up from Ginger Exchange on a Friday night. The service was really great and friendly and the prices were fair. Also the menu selection is wide ranging so there will be something for everyone. This is also conveniently located on a stretch of highland where there are not many other restaurants, which is great. In terms of the food itself, would love to see a bit more depth of flavor in some of the dishes like the bibimbap and noodles!”
