“Had the pleasures of going to Annie’s this morning for the first time. Service was amazing and quick. It is so pretty in there !! 😍 Everything Pink 🩷 Mom and Pop shop for sure, the family all individually thanked me for passing by for some breakfast. The cashier which seemed to be the daughter was very friendly and gave me a quick rundown on the flavors as it was my first time. Thank you to the Annie Team ! “The best bakery I’ve tried yet! I was very excited to try Michette while in town this weekend, but was absolutely blown away by the pastries I tried. My partner and I tried several croissants, cookies, and buns. Every single one was fresh, flaky, buttery, and packed with unique flavor combinations I’ve never had before. We only waited about 5 minutes to order, but I would wait in the longest line to be able to have these pastries again. The service, taste, and quality are unbeatable. “Cake order review only: easy to inquire about a cake online. Easy payment once we discussed the vision of the cake. And easy pickup. BEAUTIFUL CAKE. The cake was $90 for a heart shaped 2 layer cake with vintage piping, vegan vanilla with vegan vanilla buttercream and strawberry jam filling. I didn’t get the filling but was refunded immediately and the person handling the situation was so nice. I had asked why the darker icing tasted to chemically and they informed that the more they use the dye the more it tastes like it. So I would just skip that completely. Get the lighter frostings. Because like I said these are beautiful cakes and the cake itself is a good texture and flavor as a vegan cake.“

“Fig is the best! Their takeout window basically got me through the pandemic, and I feel very lucky that this is my local. As a certified scone-hater, their blueberry scone is the best I've ever had. I recommend their lattes, smoothies, breakfast sandwiches (the cheddar cheese is SHARP), and chia pudding. Their lunch sandwiches are also great. 10/10 for staff, vibes, food, and coffee.“

“I can't recommend Korean Momma enough! We ordered an OG Burnt Basque Cheesecake for my boyfriend's birthday, and it was honestly the best Basque cheesecake we've ever had. The texture was perfectly creamy and custardy with that beautifully caramelized top, and the flavor was incredible, not overly sweet and just absolutely delicious.

What made the experience even more special was how kind and accommodating Su Jean and Duly were. They were able to make a special order for us outside of their regular drop schedule, which completely surprised my boyfriend and made his birthday so memorable. They even included an extra slice of their chocolate Basque cheesecake, which was such a thoughtful surprise.

If you're looking for a cake outside one of their scheduled drops, I'd absolutely recommend reaching out to ask about a special order. They were wonderful to work with, and the extra effort meant so much to us.“

“I was just in the mood for some Brazilian type pastries for lunch, and looked it up on Yelp! My daughter and I drove from Woburn to Somerville and ordered an assortment of goods... You know when you experience something that takes you back to your childhood?? This was it for me...the ambience, the friendliness, and the flavors. “My sister-in-law just sent me and my wife a door dash order to cheer us up, with cold brew and two pains au chocolat. I took one bite and… wow. Buttery but light and flaky, cooked just right - understated perfection in a bag! I grew up in France, and this is honestly one of the best French pastries I have had in 28 years living in the US. Even in France it's not every day you find one this good! We’ll be going there for more, can’t wait to try what else they have to offer!“

“I normally dont dont this but Komugi Bakery is absolutely a 5/5! You can really tell how much attention they put into every detail, especially when it comes to texture and flavor. Everything feels carefully made, with the perfect balance of softness, richness, and sweetness without being overwhelming.

The French toast was definitely a standout. The texture was incredible, soft and fluffy on the inside with just the right finish on the outside. Every bite had so much flavor, and you could really taste the quality and thought that went into it.

What impressed me most about Komugi is how intentional everything feels. The flavors, textures, presentation, and small details all come together perfectly. Definitely a bakery worth visiting, and I’ll absolutely be coming back!“
