“This was the best night out I’ve had with my husband in a long time. The food was spectacular- I suggest the mezze platter so you can try everything, and of course the koshari. The mushroom fritters they had as a special were divine. The atmosphere and quality of service were top-notch and we will absolutely be coming here regularly.“

“Very appealing menu; a rare one where I wanted almost everything on it. And the food did not disappoint — wonderful combinations, like the chicken liver on toasts topped with green tomato jam, and pillowy ricotta-stuffed agnolotti with corn and mushrooms. Everything was exceptional.“

“Only reason 4/5 for atmosphere is that they turned down the lights drastically at around 7 PM weekdays, it was too dark to see your meal properly.
However by then my meal was finished.
Ramen is delicious, I didnt ask for chili oil as broth was sufficient alone.
Ordered one sushi and it was one roll but loosely wrapped in seaweed.
Service is quick, I would be surprised if anything takes more than 10 mins.
If you with a group, get a table. Two or a pair can share side by side bar/top seating.“

“I've been to the one in Lisbon so I was very excited to experience a different location! It is very new and looks to be a secret still. It was the perfect mix of chill and just on the brink of busy. My food was great, I went to Poe-lenta and my husband got the wood-fired pizza from the pizza location!“

“Im writing this review a couple years after dining here. I had the short rib curry and it was fantastic. It unfortunately isn't on the menu anymore. But I see the owner has a sister restaurant, chayen in watertown, that still serves it.
It was an unctuous red curry base with great fragrance from lime leaves. The dish also turned me into a fan of peas.“

“We took a friend out to dinner at Oleana last night for her birthday and it was one of the best meals we’ve had. We loved being able to share and sample so many dishes, and each one was a masterful balancing of herbs, spices and flavors. The service was also top-notch. We can’t wait to return! It’s no surprise that it’s hard to get a reservation.“

“Fig is the best! Their takeout window basically got me through the pandemic, and I feel very lucky that this is my local. As a certified scone-hater, their blueberry scone is the best I've ever had. I recommend their lattes, smoothies, breakfast sandwiches (the cheddar cheese is SHARP), and chia pudding. Their lunch sandwiches are also great. 10/10 for staff, vibes, food, and coffee.“

“Everything about this place was so good that we visited TWICE in a row during a 4-day trip to Cambridge/Boston. My dad loved the seitan reuben and cauliflower po boy, and I ADORED the impossible ground beef chop cheese and Nashville hot chicken (seitan). And absolute W. Can't wait to go back now next time I'm in town.“

“Last night I had the pleasure of visiting Volo Craft Pizza in Swampscott, MA — and wow, what an experience! 🌊🍕 The ambiance right by the water is beautiful, with Boston’s skyline in the distance, and the service made us feel right at home. Owners Pina and Tony are so warm and personable — it truly feels like family when you’re there. Now, the food… absolutely incredible. Having grown up with New York City parents (and with my own background working in a pizza restaurant), I know good pizza when I taste it — and this was next-level. Their Detroit-style Double Trouble pizza with hot honey was out of this world. 🍯🔥 The Caesar salad with fresh-grated cheese was crisp and flavorful, and don’t even get me started on the cannolis with chocolate chips and lemon — pure heaven. 🍋🍫 I’d happily drive 35 minutes any day for this. The pizzas are clearly made with love, and I can’t wait to bring my parents back to try it. If you’re anywhere near the North Shore (or even if you’re not) — do yourself a favor and try Volo. “Depends what you are looking for. If it is traditional Cuban food, go elsewhere. If you are interested in latin american food wirh a Cuban flair, you will like this place. I am a native born cuban and I will approach these type of restauranrs wirh a Cuban Nouveu cuisine mentally so I am not immediately disapointed and can approach it more open minded. So think of hispanic food with a Cuban flair. If so, I was impressed with their small plates and entrees. Tasty and well thought out dishes. Nice cocktails with Cuban flair but some standards are available. See photos for their original Hemingway Daiquiri which was quite good. Service was friendly but could have been better but place was packed on a Friday night. Deserts were interesting. The Tres Leches was differnt and recommended. Prices were not cheap but reasonable and much cheaper than Mariel

“Delicious meal at the bar as a solo diner. Everyone was so friendly! Service was attentive and professional. Food was beautiful and tasty. Don't miss the tuna tartare and snow pea salad. They have a great wine list. Will look forward to returning on my next trip to Boston!“
