“We recently had a company outing at Eddie V’s, and the food was excellent, the service was great, and everyone had a fantastic time.

But can we talk about the lighting?

Whoever did the electrical work in this place absolutely understood the assignment. The mood lighting is so good I spent part of dinner admiring the fixtures instead of my steak, which is saying something.

Warm, dramatic, flattering—apparently Eddie V’s has figured out that good lighting is cheaper than Botox.

Five stars for the restaurant and the excellent steak.

“I've been to Cafe Mangal four times for lunch over the past year, and every visit has been an outstanding experience. The food is consistently fresh, delicious, and healthy, but what truly sets this place apart is the warm, welcoming atmosphere that the owner, Mehmet, creates for me.

Each time I've visited, Mehmet has personally come to our table to greet me and my friends or family, often bringing us a new appetizer or dessert to try. His genuine hospitality and attention to detail make every meal feel special.

Cocktails are fun and creative, service is 13/10, the XL portions of fries that require to-go boxes are the only fries I’ve ever found to reheat well, and if you’re lucky, Steve will be tending bar. I love going at the slightly quieter times but I’ll never gatekeep the euphoria experienced by a meal here. “I've gone to Cook twice and both times have been impressed with the quality of food and service we received. Depending on the night, I would definitely recommend a reservation. The last time I went, I ordered Pita bread starter, Steak Tips, Bog drink (can't remember the exact name), and Peach Sangria. The drinks were both good. Cant complain. The starter was good - warm pita served with muhamara and cheese. Great start to the dinner. The main dish arrived, and it was decently portioned. The steak tips were cooked perfectly, the potato croquette side was solid, and I could take or leave the broccoli. Overall, very satisfied. I am sure we will be back.“

My grilled eggplant sandwich was to die for, and another at our table ordered the portobello sandwich, which she declared superb. “Went here for my birthday. Wasn't cheap, but I got what I paid for. They did have a price fixe menu available for $60, but I went a la carte. Steak was seasoned and cooked to perfection, and the seafood (my meal featured shrimp, crab, and lobster) was all delicious as well. 10/10 would recommend strongly.

We didn't really need the reservations that we'd made, as the place was pretty quiet on a Thursday night. I can't speak for the weekends, though.“
