“Best Vietnam restaurant in the city. We keep coming back because of the consistency of the deliciousness. The owner takes good care of the food they serve, she goes there early morning to marinate the meat. I always get the combo pho, grilled combo meat, and shrimp salad. The clay pot fish is nice too. Good people work here, they are always genuinely kind to everyone.“

“Love this spot for takeout. The chicken pho is perfect for treating midwinter colds. The dish with the green beans is my favorite- unlike much takeout, the green beans significantly outnumber the protein, which I love because I can always use more tasty veggies. They are also consistently able to have takeout ready for pick up in 10 minutes.“

“I love this place! Their service is always fast, friendly and the food comes out quickly. Their broth is always super flavorful and fresh. I usually order the brisket pho which is packed with noodles and they don't skimp out on the brisket meat. Definitely one of my favorite comfort food places in Mount Vernon!!“

“I travel A LOT and this place is by far one of the BEST Vietnamese spots I've ever had. Ordered a bunch of stuff for delivery, ETA was originally 90min. They came in less than 45. Pork Bao Buns, Pork Spring Rolls, Pork Summer Rolls, Pork Bahn Mi, Bun Bo Hue, Steak and Flank Pho with Extra Tendon and Sprouts. Bao Buns are homemade and stuffed with savory Char Siu Pork. Pork Spring Rolls were flash fried and also savory. The fish sauce was authentic. Pork Summer Rolls were freshly rolled with Lemongrass and the peanut sauce was perfect. Pork Bahn Mi was stuffed full of Pork, Pickled Carrots/Onions and topped with plenty of Jalapeños. The pate spread was authentic. The Bun Bo Hue is one of the top one's I've ever had aside from Vietnam. It was deeply spicy and correct with a Lemongrass, Annatto, and Shrimp Paste forward savory broth. Correct Vermicelli noodles and served with a generous portion of everything. I didn't even need to order the extra Tendon or Sprouts. The Pho was phenomenal as well with broth that is not too sweet and not too savory. Also very generous with the portions. They have an expansive menu and great prices. This is definitely a place that you can easily feed a family with leftovers under $100.“

“My friend randomly selected this place, and it honestly was a good find. I ordered the rice vermicelli noodles with grill shrimp, and it was delicious! Those fresh veggies and the basil on top are perfect. Also got a small Chai tea, which was very tasty. Tip- go ahead and get the large Chai tea, it was so good, before I left, I went back for a large! When you wall in the aesthetic wasn't that attractive tbh, so I was feeling skeptical, but like I said the food was good, and service was kind.. Parking is city parking fyi,but there are parking garages nearby.“

“Go-to spot for a very quick in-and-out bowl of pho! When in a hurry, 5UP is a great option. I come here after working out at PowerHouse down the street and am home within 15 minutes--park, order, grab and gooo. Amazing. Taste is on-point. I tend to like mine on the spicer side so I add Sriracha sauce and extra jalapeños.“

“I love this place. The owner is nice, provides great service, and he really cares if you enjoy your meal. I miss him when he isn’t there sometimes. I always get phö and its always on point. I recommend the #4 and #5. Add some bean sprouts, chili oil, sriracha, hot sauce and hoisin sauce and it is perfect. If you make the phö too spicy, it pairs really well with a smoothie, mango and strawberry are my favorites.“

“This was the third Vietnamese restaurant I have been to since relocating to the area from the West Coast. Inflation has affected everyone and everything so with that said when a restaurant labels something as "Large" I expect just that for the price being charged. I was really surprised and impressed to see my Large bowl of Pho arrive at my table with a great ratio of meat and noodles. The broth was flavorful and seasoned well and noodles were blanched to the proper texture. Service was prompt and the restaurant was clean. Great variety of condiments table side as well. I know there's many more places to try but I will definitely keep Pho #1 in my rotation.“

“Absolutely one of our favorite restaurants, the food is delicious and so satisfying. Family owned restaurant with superb home cooking. Each pho restaurant has their own family recipe and this one is stellar on taste and quality. Always a comfortable and relaxing atmosphere, friendly and wonderful staff.Vegetarian options: Can easier get tofu or non-meat alternatives and in general the food and flavors selections are delicious.Dietary restrictions: Great for gluten free options, plenty of rice and rice noodle choices.Kid-friendliness: Relaxing for kids, high chairs and in general delicious choices for everyone.“

“This restaurant was recommended by my daughter. On my way out of town, I decided to stop by. The pho was excellent, and the service was quick and courteous. I was surprised the price was as low as it was, considering the high-quality of the food. The serving was large enough for three total meals. I would recommend this restaurant to anybody interested in pho specifically, or soup in general.“

“I'm not a Pho connoisseur. That said, I believe that this is the highest quality Pho I've ever had. The broth is on another level. I would describe it as deep and it doesn't make me thirsty, which makes me believe that it has very low or if any MSG. They serve it with real Thai Basil, Bean Sprouts, a lime wedge and a 50/50 amount of red chili and Hoisin sauce. I think the noodles (they're very good) are fresh and not the dehydrated kind. Over the years I've narrowed down my choices to only a few Pho restaurants and this one is just on another planet.“
