“My fiance and I have ordered/picked up mission bbq regularly for the last few years. However, last night we decided to eat in at the restaurant as we were running errands. The food was great per usual, but we were particularly impressed by Reda who greeted us at the door, interacted pleasantly with all the customers as he cleaned up tables including a two year old boy who got a big kick out of repeatedly waving to Reda, and came over and chatted with us at our table at one point. He made a regular dinner at a chain restaurant into a really fun, positive experience. Couldn't have asked for better service!“

The owner is super nice and his passion for BBQ comes out in his stories about his business. This is a must visit in Rockville.“

“I went there with my co-workers and the atmosphere was really nice since it had just opened. It was bright and clean and the food came out cleanly.The staff were very friendly and nice, but they didn't wear masks and talked too much, which made me a little uncomfortable.You're trying to be kind by saying a lot, but I think it would be better if you talk less or speak while wearing a mask.I will be going often in the future.“

“Dear Diary - how can you not like kbbq? Is this a place to try? Definitely. They have all you can eat and/or A la carte. If you don't think you can easily go through 'all you can eat', it's ok to A le carte yourself instead; no shame in that. Their brisket and short ribs (bone or boneless) are amazing. I would say this place is a bit more premium, and you definitely pay for it.“

“A friend gave me a gift card, so even though I usually prefer CAVA, I thought I'd give Mezeh another try. I don't know what it is, but something about the concept bothers me. You take hot food, rice and chicken in my case, then smother it with cold salad items, and you wind up eating a lukewarm meal. It's not terrible, but I just feel like it could be better. I realize I'm nit-picking. The service was great, the young man behind the counter was very helpful, and even made suggestions. The food is flavorful and bold. The dining room was clean. Some music might be nice, maybe some Mediterranean music? I think next time I'll try the Lamb Hero.“

Especially the fried chicken & they were so accommodating bc we really only like flats & they provided us with that with a smile. It was clean. My order was a bit wrong, but I was so hungry I didn't notice at first. The house salad apparently is pre made with the dressing already added? Could have been a quick cover-up (as I asked for blue cheese)and if she's that quick on her she's gonna go places, but it was great none the less. “This is a fun place for a celebration! We rented a private karaoke dining room on a weekday evening. The music was fun with a good selection of popular tunes, and the room was the perfect size for a small group - well equipped for both dining and partying. The food was both unique and delicious - we particularly recommend the Qiqihar beef. There was also an excellent selection of cocktails and flavored iced teas. Shout out to our server, Patrick, who took good care of us and had a great singing voice to boot!Kid-friendliness: Not recommended for small children, as the karaoke screens would often auto-play songs with less-than-optimal lyrics.“

“I went with my sister, who is vegetarian. We both loved the food. Service was great. We got the vegetarian pancake to share, she got soondobu jjigae and I got the seolleongtang. I've been looking for a restaurant with good seolleongtang and this place fits the bill. The soondobu was adequately spicy and delicious. One thing to note is the egg is $1.50 extra. The vegetarian pancake was crisp, not too oily, and along with the sauce it was delicious.Highly recommend this place. It's reasonably priced (paid maybe $35 for the meal) and the food was amazing. Plenty of vegetarian options to choose from.“

“Although this is a steakhouse, I ordered the salmon. EXCELLENT!!! Perfectly cooked, just the right amount of "crust" and served piping hot! Compliments to the chef!! As far as service, could not have been better if I was in a 5 star restaurant. Server was Sean, and he did a fantastic job!! He gave excellent service and yet it was like he wasn't there. Didn't have to ask for anything. He filled water glass when it was just below half. Great place!! Highly recommend!!“

“Seated quickly at 5:30 pm on a Wednesday. Menus brought and ice water. We ordered and they brought warm fresh pita bread and Israeli salads to share. I ordered a rib eye medium done and it came out well done. Had to return it and when the new one came out it was rare. No happy medium. Green beans were delicious. Wife ordered Jerusalem mix with rice which was good. Service was slow, took a long time to get refills on water and more salads! Asked for a to go box and waitress never brought it, I went to the kitchen to ask for one. Food is good but slow service!“

“This restaurant introduced hot pot earlier this year. Current lunch special is AYCE hot pot and skewers for $35. The meats are quality and you have over 5 skewers to choose from. Some speciality items include snow crab legs, scallops and hot chili wontons. These items are usually add ons at other restaurants and sometimes cost a lot more. My friends got the Tom Yum and I got the pork broths. Broths were rich in flavor and we ordered multiple rounds of the skewers.I love the high ceilings and how the dining tables are set up. You get a grilling station in the middle that is constantly moving. Each diner gets their own hot pot and the seats were really comfy. The sauce stations are covered and there are plenty of instructions on how to make your favorite sauces. Save room for the vanilla ice cream as well. Service here was on point. I feel like we had +3 servers at all times. You order on your phone and food comes out really quickly. You can't go any where in the area to get quality meats and hot pot at value. Fun place to try different types of seafood, meats and vegetables.“

“After a decade, I can finally say ZAIQA BBQ & KARAHI is a very good place to get some authentic Pakistani food in germantown! Zaiqa bbq & karahi was previously Eastern Kabob I have been so disappointed by Eastern Kabob's food quality and poor customer service. My food was not thrown at the counter by the kitchen staff nor was I given an unpleasant unwelcomed attitude. I walked into Eastern Kabob and was immediately greeted and welcomed by the staff member at the front counter. He was very friendly and attentive.EASTERN KABOB IS UNDER A NEW MANAGEMENT and they have renamed the restaurant to ZAIQA BBQ & KARAHI. I would highly recommend giving them a try. I had ordered Chicken Karahi and Gol Gappa [pani puri]. Chicken karahi was on point very delicious. My gol gappa was perfect! They were NOT stale or broken! Crunchy,spicy,tart,sweet and cold with each bite! Do please give them a try. I surely will be back! Keep it up!“
