“B and Js is a hub for the community, if someone doesn't know where to go, one uses B and Js as a landmark. Kids bike up to get food and the older folks view it as nostalgic.

I've tried almost everything on the menu but now, and I have yet to taste something I didn't like. I would personally recommend the Ruben or Italian sausage if you want something warm and filling, and the Italian cold cut if you're feeling for something cool and lighter.

The ice cream is amazing, and the chocolate malt is very dense. I prefer chocolate or mixed everything, so I can't speak for anything else.

The staff have always been friendly and helpful, even when I'm convinced there is an item on the menu that is called by a totally different name 😅“

“One of those neighborhood gems that punches way above its weight class. It deserves to be a lot more consistently packed with diners and bar customers for the quality of food and drink.

It's not an Instagram trap and located in a modest shopping center where the anchors are a Home Depot, post office, and animal hospital, so IYKYK. My only request is they bring their roast duck entree back to the menu, that was my go-to and so delicious.“

“For starters I am glad we have a local sandwich shop in the Huntington area. I had the chicken salad sandwich and I will say I've had better. A pro to this sandwich is that it tasted fresh. A con was that there was not too much flavor to it- maybe it was missing a tad bit of salt. You can taste the mayonnaise too much in this sandwich. The establishment is very clean so that was a plus. I will definitely be by again since you can never go wrong with a sandwich for lunch. Hoping they can add some secret sauce to these sandwiches to make it tastier and provide some uniqueness to their sandwiches.“

“First time back since renovations and wow what a story this place is. It started with the chicken & waffles. The meat was really pink and hard to bite into so I decided to do french toast instead. (Minus the almond cookies.) and it was delicious but it was soft as butter so I had to request a spoon 😮 On top of that, the bartender complimented not only my neurodivergent tattoos 🏳️‍🌈♾️ but also gave me a free mocktail. Though I will warn you it’s real strong. I tasted mostly lemon but it had a hint of maple and tea. Which is ironic because strong taste is why I prefer tea over coffee (if I had to pick between the two). Regardless, these people deserve some love especially in the economic crises we have.“

Again unusual ingredients made the dish very delicious. I had the pork which I had enjoyed a year ago and again I loved it! The service was very attentive. The chef came out so we could tell her in person how much we loved it all!“

“We have dined at the restaurant several times over the years. Before our experience this visit, I had read some negative reviews regarding service, food quality and cleanliness. I have to say that we found everything wonderful. We had reservations but arrived much earlier than expected to the restaurant. The Hostess was very accommodating and found an open table right away in the room with the Bar. (I would have enjoyed a table in one of the dining rooms better, which might have been the case had we stuck with our original reservation but we couldn't be picky since the Hostess was kind enough to provide us with an earlier lunch !) The food was delicious, served in a prompt time. Our waiter, Zach, was attentive and very pleasant. Even the servers who brought the food from the kitchen to our table were so nice ! My message in this review is "don't base your possible experience on the negative reviews" !!!“

“Honestly, this was the best service I’ve ever received! Our server/waiter was Nick and he truly made our day. So much so that we decided to leave him a substantial tip. Nick is very social aware, knowledgeable about their restaurant and items, and he thouroghly explains the highlights of their menu and a brief history of their establishment. He regularly checked in during our dinner but what really sets him apart is his high charismatic and warming energy. This was not only for our table but the surrounding tables as well. Extremely respectful and kind, and a prior service member !

“This was our 4th time here and we had a good experience. These are not complaints, but things I would adjust: salad dressing was a little tart, Firebirds chardonnay was on the sweet side... ok this is actually a complaint - the beer list is severely lacking for a place with $60 entrees (it's basic, boring, and on-par with big chain restaurants). That said, our server was fantastic. In addition to her professionalism, she brought us another round of drinks (the non-alcoholic ones) without asking. I don't know if that's standard procedure for Firebirds or just her attentiveness, but those little things go a long way. The food was excellent, too!“

“After a 12 hour car ride to our hotel, this was an Amazing and Delicious dinner for our family of 4! Very affordable. We’ve paid a lot more for a lot less, and we even got dessert! Our kids rated it a 10 out of 5 and that’s huge for them. Highly recommend!! Will be back!“

“Think of the cool vibe and lighting of a classic New Orleans restaurant and mix it with the eclectic mix of American southern and Korean cuisine. Especially great for vegetarians and gluten intolerant folks. The deviled eggs, crispy Korean cauliflower and fried pickles were particularly tasty.“

The cabbage in particular impressed us. Kiln is working hard to serve its hotel clientele from around the country while competing in Old Town - a difficult line to walk. “Our server Jayla was awesome! She was very friendly. We went on a Saturday afternoon around 2 p.m. weather was gorgeous outside and the outdoor patio was well covered, but we decided to sit inside. The restaurant wasn't too crowded. Jayla asked if it was our first time at Blackwall Hitch, which it was, so she went over the local favorites. She recommended the flaming crab dip and it was delicious!!! Jayla offered us extra Naan chips which I thought was generous for an upscale restaurant. I asked if she could bring us extra with a to-go box to take the rest of the dip. We also had the mahi mahi tacos and chicken-pancetta flatbread - both were great. Jayla often checked on us. “Niblick is located inside the golf club located on Fort Belvoir Base.
Base access pass is required.
It is a grill restaurant. Table service is not available. Customers order at the counter to takeout but general seating is available. Food is good and prepared fresh. Portion sizes are good. The cost is reasonable. I recommend for quick meal.“

This Ruby Tuesday seems to have stood the test of time & the only chain bar in the immediate area. Burgers, wings, steaks & and the pastas are my favorite! The weekday drink specials are such a good deal & if you have the Ruby Tuesday app even better BC there are deals everyday (ex: BOGO, buy one get 2nd for $3, $10 off, free drinks, steaks @ $10, etc....). Between the app deals & the daily drink specials, my bill never comes out to more than $45!!!“
