“We dined there for a third time with our family on Saturday. Theresa was a knowledgeable, spirited server that made the outstanding meals beyond enjoyable. Every time we come to Baltimore, we have to stop there for a meal. The first time I went, I swear to you, I had a mouth "O" (trying to keep it clean here. Lol.). It's been that way every time. Atmosphere is spot on with the service and preparation. Thank you, Theresa and thank you, Thames Street for doing what you do best. Cannot wait for our next visit. One of the best restaurants we've every dined in.“

“Angel‘S’s is one of the worst seafood places to get crabs do not go to Angel‘S’s. They sell you baby crabs for large crabs that’s not how you do business. Drove out of town to get nice size crabs, and this idiot gave me baby crabs do not go to Angel‘S’s..“

“The Elkridge Furnace Inn has a lovely historic ambience and provides a relaxing and comfortable atmosphere. The wait staff was exceptional and extremely attentive. It's always such a pleasure and privilege to have the owner, Chef Dan, visit each table/guest to inquire about their experience and discuss the cuisine. As always, the food was extraordinary with flavors blending well and highlighting seasonal produce sourced locally. We were truly delighted with our experience and will continue us to return for our next encounter with Chef Dan's unique cuisine.“

“The service and food was absolutely amazing! I drove in from Buffalo NY to watch the ravens beat chiefs. While that didn’t happen the one bright spot was deciding to give Angie’s a try. The food was absolutely amazing! The crab dip, the crab cakes, my 16oz ribeye smothered in the most perfectly cooked scallops, shrimp, fresh crab meat. It was phenomenal. I can’t remember his name but the guy waiter we had as well was a cool guy. He walked around when he had a minute and had conversations with all the customers so I left an extra tip. Next season when I’m back in town I will be paying them a visit again!“

“First off, the food is amazing. I recommend trying a few of the small plates and tapas and see if you want to just keep ordering those first before you commit to the entrees. The entrees are large portions you can easily share with another person so I'd go that route so you can try several of the smaller plates. Cuchara offers several staple tapas and small plates which are just as good as I've had in Spain. The service is some of the best I've had. The servers were super friendly and attentive and the food came out so fast. We were honestly surprised how quickly it came out. I can't recommend La Cuchara enough.“

“Food was bomb! The food came out pretty quickly, and our waters were were always filled. The food came out hot and pretty quick and it was just so flavorful. It's pretty dim inside but still nice inside. Don't skip out on this place, you won't regret it.“

“We came here for the first time and had an excellent meal. The food was definitely a 5, the only issue was that it was SO loud that we couldn't hear each other talk and that definitely took away from the experience. But for delicious food I would definitely come back. We had the guacamole, ceviche and elote appetizers. All were fabulous. Then tried the fish, shrimp, duck and steak tacos, all very good. The chicken mole was delicious and so were the mole enchiladas. And the arugula salad was great. The margaritas were very good as well.“

“We went to Koco’s today and it dawned on me, there is a bar that has all different types of people. There are Liberals, Conservatives, whites, blacks, Asians, gay, and straight people. For the time that we are in there, none of that matters. We are just people with no labels. We are people that come to this place to celebrate the best damn crab cake in the state. Sure, our bill is usually over $150.00 but, while we are in there, politics, race, and class mean absolutely nothing. To me, the food is second. What comes first is the atmosphere, the service, and the overall experience. I would just like to thank this place for pulling all of this off. I live about 90 minutes from Koco’s and it is always a pleasure to get in the car and drive down 83 for an awesome dining experience.“

“We stopped by on a recent Saturday eve, foolishly hadn’t made reservations, and the place was packed. The awesome Host that night was kind enough to take pity & got us a table within oh, 15 minutes or less, and apologized to us for the “wait!” Food was fantastic (Bauernwurst & Falafel and of course potato pancakes) and the beers matched the food. Our server was great as well, for a busy night we never had to flag her down for refills or anything else’s. Cant wait to go back & try some other dishes!“

“BY far the best service, and food I have had in such a long time. If you are EVER looking for a place to eat I highly suggest this place. Our waitress who was so freaking amazing her name was JC? she had pink braids and was so nice. She knows what drink to get you if you’re indecisive like me. She definitely deserves a promotion of some sort. She knows her job and she does it extremely well. I got the fried trio combo and I think my mouth was in heaven when I ate their crab cakes. The jump shrimp was FIREEEE and the haddock definitely a chefs kiss well done. I wish I could take the restaurant and the people in it with me. I’m definitely in love with this place and I will find out how I can order it online so it can be shipped to my house. I don’t think I can live without their crab cakes or shrimp ?❤️❤️ it’s definitely more on the expensive side but for how amazing everything was that price is non negotiable❤️❤️ you definitely get your moneys worth ???“

“Love them. very good seafood and oysters but the last several times I haven't been able to sit out on the outside deck when it was clearly open. Also our drinks the other day were very weak. That's the first time ever. For the amount of money that we spend on drinks, they should have more alcohol. overall they're great!“

“I brought my brother in before he goes overseas. He said, and I quote "this might be the best fried chicken I've ever had". To be honest, I've never really had it myself but I have had the meatloaf, the chili cheese dog, and a few other things, and I have always been very satisfied with both the size of the meals and the taste. The sauces that they have are also pretty good. If you're looking for something different to eat or just want something that will likely be good, this place should be one of your options.“

“The neighborhood bird is the star menu item at this restaurant. The chicken sandwich is full of flavor, the sauce adds even more depth to the sandwich and the steamed bun brings everything together. The tempura broccoli is one of the best I’ve had. The rice and beans are also a great side for the sandwich. We also got the pork ancho chile bun and a side of pickles, which was also good. Not sure I would pay for the pickles again, they were quick expensive but enough for 2-3 people to share. The restaurant is a bit small and pretty busy on weekends, so if you’re a large party you may need to eat elsewhere. All in all, all the staff were friendly. I will definitely keep returning here.“

“Probably my favorite restaurant in the city, of course they make excellent greek food but its the people and location that really do it for me. The owner is always on the grill cooking up heat, but he constantly stops to say hello to the neighborhood regulars who all know each other. The servers have clearly all been working here for a long time, testament to the type of place the owner is running and theyre all the sweetest people. I only ever go when im in the area, by no means a regular and still i feel like a part of the neighborhood every time i go. As far as the food goes, ill just say that ive never been inside and not heard people speaking greek to each other- id wager a big portion of their customers are greek immigrants who know what good greek food is and this is where they eat.Samos is a true Baltimore gem, i love the food and place but i really love the people behind the food.“

“This place has amazing ramen and this is the second time I've been here. I would definitely recommend the Black Jack. It's a combination of their Spicy and Black Tonkotsu. The broth is deep, rich and flavorful with a kick of spice. You can always add more spice to it, just let your server know. Anything above a level 1 can get pretty spicy. I normally prefer the wavy noodles in ramen. This place serves the straight noodles. Actually you can see them making it in the room next door! The noodles were a great texture. It was not overly cooked and still had that al dente feel. Be advised that they are always very busy. If you want to sit in during lunch or dinner time, be prepared to wait. Overall, still the best Ramen I've had in the area. I would give them a try if you are near.“

You can feel the good vibes from the moment you arrive. And what can I tell you about the food???Too tasty and with an exquisite flavor. I can say without fear of being wrong that they have been the best birria tacos I have ever eaten. The flavor of the meats is on a different level. The flavor of the chicken of the “taquitos dorados” is on another level! And not to mention the fresh agua fresca de piña (I didn’t even take a picture of it so delicious).Thank you girls for everything! Here is a Puerto Rican couple who will definitely visit them again when we are in that area.God bless you!“

“Definitely old-school bougie (white table cloths, sommelier with a 50+ page wine list, cheese cart, and 4-6 course tasting menus), but don't get me wrong, I won't turn my nose up at a fancy fine-dining experience. Especially since you often get to taste flavors and try fare that you wouldn't normally be able to find at just any establishment. And for the most part, Charleston didn't disappoint. The scallop course was cooked to perfection, the breaded oysters were amazing - fried on the outside and creamy on the inside - it is RARE to get oysters that perfectly fried. My favorite dish was probably the duck. I am a fan of duck in all its forms... greasy over rice, fried and slathered in a bbq sauce... but this was on the scale of a dish I had in DC, where the duck was so tender it was like eating a seared, well-rested steak. Honest, perfection.I was a little disappointed in the white truffle fettuccini and their desserts. They had no wow factor like the rest of the meal and the pasta dish didn't even have real truffles. At over $200 per person for 5 courses, I would have expected a few shavings on the miniscule portion. But, 6 out of 8 of our party loved that dish, so maybe I am being too picky :)The restaurant itself is intimate and upscale, but still approachable. Most guests were dressed up, so it is definitely FANCY, but there is no specific dress code, or at least not one that is enforced from what I could tell. Our party of 8 was seated back in what I am going to call the wine room, where we were surrounded by dimly lit shelves of wine - it was old world and romantic and we had a delightful time.Their wine list is overwhelming - I am not kidding when I said it was over 50 pages! I asked for a Brunello and the Sommelier told me to turn to page 57... 57!!!! So, if you don't know what you are looking for or what might pair well with your upcoming courses, I would suggest asking for a recommendation.I also think our party-size was a little overwhelming for the staff. I am not sure they are used to serving that many people at once. There were times that the food didn't come out all at once, which is awkward for the pacing when you are eating a coursed meal, and one dessert came out a full 5 minutes after the rest of the table's. I know this is nit-picky, but it's an expensive meal at one of the premier restaurants in Baltimore, I would have just thought it would have been a little better coordinated. But, like I said, we had a big group. A smaller group may not have the same experience. Despite that though, the waiters and staff were friendly and helpful, explaining the dishes and the wine-pairings that came with them.<3 All-in-all, I would recommend. It was a fun experience, very enjoyable meal, made all the better with a group of friends <3“

“I was so excited when I saw them on delivery service and ordered right away!! I'd been meaning to try Cocina Luchadoras since COVID. I ordered the chips and guacamole and three tacos. The tacos were very clean and not overly greasy. I loved that the chips were a bit thicker and super crunchy! I still need to go in person and try their food when it's hot off the stove but I will definitely be ordering food from here again!“

“Written by a Peruvian who is often in LA, NYC, DC, MIA. Trust me, I (and many Peruvians) hunt excellent Peruvian food wherever we go. Our gastronomy is becoming world-renowned (yaay) and so some (!) are trying to cash in and provide sub-par/tasteless/bland stuff and try and sell it as “Peruvian” food. Well, Puerto 511 and Chef Jose are exceeding all expectations. First thing you notice after laying eyes on the beautifully plated dish is the freshest ingredients but then, BAM, the perfect combination of taste, spice and tenderness hits you. Delicious as it should be when made right. He serves traditional flavors in a gourmet-style. PrixeFixe dinner of 5 delicious courses which was completely perfect. Beginning with the super tender veal anticuchos (with the nice and spicy sauces), to the tuna en su causa (perfectly seasoned potatoes layered with the freshest tuna) and the sashimi in aji amarillo and ending with churros (made as they should be with a pumpkin-base dough) topped with a scoop of guanabana ice cream, strawberries and Dulce de Leche! Each dish had our beautiful and familiar Peruvian flavors, all exploding nicely in your mouth. Excelente!“

“It took me a while to get here but it was well worth the wait. Nestled right on the water of the inner harbor, the view is great. The atmosphere is amazing. If you are looking for romantic, business, high-end, or just friends getting out, The Rusty Scupper is your spot. The staff was super friendly, and the food came out fast. I started with one of my favorites the Moscow Mule. The guest had the lychee lemonade. For starters, we had the Calamari. It was lightly battered and melted in your mouth. For an entrée, I enjoyed the two crab cakes which had to be 90% lump crab meat. It came with mashed potatoes and green beans. My guest had short ribs. Both meals were amazing. For dessert, I was able to get the strawberry cheesecake. I highly recommend this restaurant.“

“We ordered carryout and bought the shrimp with crab meat and grits. It was seasoned extremely well and hands down some of the best grits ever. The honey French toast was extremely good. The scrambled eggs were bland andThe bacon was OK. The seafood salad was also seasoned well.I am taking one star off because the portion sizes were SMALL. For $26.99 we expected a larger amount for the grits. Instead we received a sm-iny bowl of grits that was more like an appetizer. We could have gotten two large size bowls from elsewhere for that price as we've done before. The shrimp salad portion was small too. Even the amount of chips included were like 1/2 cup. The French toast was average size, and not big and fluffy like some other places. Would we spend $70+ here again for the portions we received? I doubt it.“
