“My daughter and I stopped in here for dinner after spending some time in Leonardtown for First Fridays. It smelled wonderful when we walked in, and we were greeted and seated right away. We were both impressed with the wide array of menu options. I had a chicken and cucumber salad, which was low carb, but very tasty and filling. My daughter had an enchilada that she really enjoyed. They serve complimentary chips and salsa, too. Best of all were the very reasonable prices. We'd definitely go again and try some different entrées. It would be a great place for large families or groups. They have the seating, and affordable menu items to make it pleasant; and not break the bank.Parking: Front of restaurant. Many available spaces.“
“Visiting the area, we ate here based on reviews. It didn't disappoint. Don't be fooled by the plain exterior or entering through the back of the building. Inside, it is clean, comfortable, and casual. I had a crab cake and boiled scallops. Both were fresh, well-seasoned, and delicious. Salad and onion rings were good. My wife had prime rib that she felt was overcooked for being medium-rare, but was good otherwise. Children had cheese pizza which was delicious. Prices were what you expect to pay for quality seafood and beef. Highly recommend this local favorite.“
“Good fresh food whether it's in the restaurant or off of their truck. Service is good and staff is friendly. The place has an interesting vibe. It's small so I avoid it when it's packed Great selection of wine and as with my other local purveyors they offer good advice and prices are good enough for you to try them out. They have sales and tastings. I like their gyro wraps and chocolates. And for valentines they have fresh chocolate-dipped strawberries. One of the obvious gems along three notch. I highly recommend them“
“I can't praise this place enough! The owners are amazing people. My family has eaten here many times over the last several years and never one complaint. Always friendly service with a smile, a welcoming atmosphere and the food is delicious!“
“Let's get straight to it. This spot is too 5 in DMV and #1 in Southern Maryland, hands down feet up for there "Catfish Nuggets" This is my go to weekly for my Fried-Fish Fridays, of course when I get the approval of the Mrs. There's been times where we indulge twice a day. He's very friendly and welcoming to his customers on a consistent basis. His food is nice and fresh, golden brown crispy and seasoned well with "old faithful" Old bay and hot sauce. Simply delicious.. Oh please forgive me, I can feel the some looks though the app. The servings side/portions are much more than the picture indicates. It was me, I admit I was too excited for the experience I was prepared to receive that took the picture after my hands and face was greasy! Don''t worry it's worth your money and time.. Check it out!“
“The food is absolutely exquisite! Celebrated my sixth year anniversary at this establishment, which happened to also be the very first restaurant my boyfriend took me to when we met. Hasn't changed! Beautiful scenery and a peaceful/comfortable atmosphere. Not too bright, not too dark & the workers are extremely professional and friendly. It is accessible to all and it's the perfect place for a romantic evening, treating oneself to a meal, or in my case...an anniversary! ? (GET THE DUCK FAT FRIES!) My only little irk is that the crab cakes aren't a good size for the price. So if you love crab and pick that dish just be aware it isn't a hefty size. But still, delicious.Parking: Parking can be a little congested but if you have patience, no biggie.Wheelchair accessibility: Yes there was accessibility.“
“This is our go to place! Never let's us down. From seafood to a nice steak. Wife had the Halibut special and I had the filet mignon. Cooked to a perfect med rare. We always spilt a home made dessert. Our go to is the toffee crunch. We had the special appetizer of the calamari. Thanks. See ya next time!“
“I had to come on here and write a review. This isn’t just the best Thai around. This is the best restaurant in southern Maryland. I’ve been coming here multiple times a week and I’ve never been disappointed. Everything is good. Today I got the soup and it was perfect for a cold winter day. The chicken is fantastic! The crispy pork is to die for. I love this place. The owner and his wife are the nicest people in the world and make you feel so welcome. A really hard working couple and an amazing atmosphere. I’ll continue to be a regular!“
“Intentionally and with enthusiasm; give this marina a visit.I'll be forward. Don't expect a full service arrival off season. This is a marina of modest and humble means. A true relic of maritime community and origin. Sitting just off the mouth of the Potomac a few miles up the river, you can find a wonderful little marina and the Reluctant Navigator Restaurant where the regulars gather to enjoy a Sunday morning breakfast.Serious sailors and casual boaters alike should find this little nook of Herring Creek to be a safe haven from inclimate weather and teeming with help and hospitality. Be mindful of the tides if you have a draft over 3 or 4 feet. The channel can be shallow.Hot coffee and a nicely thought-out breakfast bar are sure to suit most, and perhaps even delight those with a hankering for some homestyle food. You know, the kind of plate you add your biscuits, cornbeef and hash, bacon, and sausage and then smother it in gravy. It's sure to satisfy those empty stomach hunger pains and warm you to the core.Having trouble finding the place, call them up, and perhaps you will get a hold of Rick or another one of his crew that can help you navigate your way into the creek.Don't forget to fill up at the fuel dock on the way out. You will also want to grab some swag to commemorate the visit, so check out the supply of hats, t-shirts, and long-sleeved boating shirts.Look them up online or give them a call to find out all they offer.“
“I adore Thai food and Sawatdee doesn't disappoint. On 6/29 we ordered Carryout - everything from Pad Thai, traditional Noodle Soup with chicken w/spice level 4; and another beef & veggies dish. The food was excellent and was cooked to perfection. I knew I'd return to try other dishes. Today, I dined-in and had the fried egg rolls (filled with carrot, taro root, bean noodle a d pork) with a Thai dipping sauce. They were crispy deliciousness. In fact I had to force myself to stop at 3. Entree#1 was the Thom Yum Noodle Soup (tomato based soup, with rice noodles, bean sprouts, cilantro, peanuts & chicken). This soup would be amazing with a peanut butter and jelly sandwich. I don't generally order red/tomato based soups, and when I saw it almost didn't try it. Glad I did as it was light and packed with flavor. It'll make a great pairing for lunch tomorrow with my peanut butter sandwich. Entree #2 was the Sawatdee Dried Noodles with beef (rice noodles, bean sprouts, Thai basil, Chinese broccoli, topped with ground peanuts). This dish was extremely flavorful, packed with chicken, a little on the sweet side and you could definitely taste the basil and broccoli in every bite. I got both entrees with level 3 spice. This added a little heat without being spicy. Keep in mind the spice levels here go from 1 to 10. While level 3 isn't spicy, level 4 has you feeling the heat so ... be forewarned. They have a well stocked bar but sadly no one knew how to mix any of the drinks so if you want beer or wine, you're in good shape. Otherwise prepare to drink water or soda as they don't offer hot tea or Thai tea. I've enjoyed the food here twice now, both for Carryout and dine-in. Customer service here is solid and the servers extremely personable. They're updating their menus so no prices are visible which may be off-putting for some but their price point is very reasonable. Entrees $13-14 & $8-10 for the apps. Quantity is substantial and quality is excellent.“
“I was invited to the club as a guest for an eighty's disco dance party with name that tune for prizes and great DJ. I was made to feel like one of the regulars from the moment I walked in. Drinks were two dollars and the food was free. You have to join of course. It is a private club. I had so much fun I think I will.“
“A lovely dining experience with excellent food and stuff. Quiet and quaint. Can't wait to go back!Vegetarian options: I'm sure there's a few vegetarian dishes, but there are many seafood options for those that only avoid beef work and chickenParking: Parking out front on the main street or behind the building in the parking lotWheelchair accessibility: The restaurant is at ground level with roll-in, wheelchair access. The restaurant is kind of tight, but tables can be slightly moved to accommodate even larger wheelchairs.“
“This place is just amazing. I went for my first, but definitely not the last, visit to this restaurant today for lunch with my daughter. The Spring Roll appetizer was excellent, and the Duck Sauce for dipping tasted freshly made. I had Eggplant Basil, my daughter had the Mango Curry. Both were wonderful. The service was great too. Be sure to give this place a try if you're in Solomons. Well worth it.“
“Quick, fast, sincere service. It's located near Weis, connected to a Sunoco gas station and a barber shop. They take credit / debit with a $10 or more purchase only. I never have cash, so I had to add to my order. Also no tables to sit at, none at all.Parking: Sunoco, Chinese food, and a barber shop share the parking.“
