“Flame & Cones provided pizza and dessert for our Yacht Club party. They showed up at the marina in plenty of time to get set up to deliver their goods. While they were at our request, they had sufficient food for other marina slip holders. The pizza selections were varied and most enjoyable. Wagyu beef skewers from the bar was one of the best things I’ve ever had. All the skewers were amazing and the fried chicken and other bar snacks are classic bar foods, but way elevated- can not wait for the rest of the space to open!“

“It’s tough to find a vegan restaurant that really elevates vegetables instead of just giving you reheated Gardein items but Planta does it. The ambience is very sleek and modern (great for a date night) the bar is well-stocked and there are a ton of different vegetable-centered food options that are done really well. My wife also has a gluten allergy and they went through the menu with her to discuss what options were safest for her. We’ll be back for sure.“

“We had an early dinner before attending a performance at the Ford’s Theater. We made reservations through Open Table and were immediately seated upon arrival. The service was great. Our server recommended several dishes that we loved. There were abundant vegan and vegetarian options. Chilorio de Res tacos were mouthwatering as were the Hongos en Milto ones. In fact, every dish we ordered was delicious. One dish (chilaquiles) never arrived from the kitchen but we were pressed for time so we opted to have it taken off our bill instead of waiting for them to prepare it separately. Dessert, Cafe de Olla, was phenomenal. Pics are only some of the items we tried. Great atmosphere for date night and a milestone birthday celebration. Highly recommend.“

“Honestly thee best raw vegan food I have ever tasted . My favorite right now is the Live burger entree with arugula salad and plantains. For dessert I love their doughnuts OMG so delicious . Anything you try is mouthwatering and absolutely amazing. You can taste the love they put into the food . I travel and hour from Baltimore to Cane &Coconut . I give them 10 stars .Wonderful music and good energy. They are knowledgeable about the nutrients amd benefits of all dishes. I love y’all ❤️“

“I was so sad when Planta Queen Ft Lauderdale closed down. Imagine my glee when I found a Planta Queen around the corner from my hotel in Washington D.C.!!! Just as I remembered, amazing sushi and menu of course, gorgeous decor, chic ambience and welcoming staff. They even had a kids menu and a “happy hour” drinks and sushi menu! Lots of GF options which I appreciate! I will obviously be dining there every night I’m here lol“

I’m not a drinker, so when I asked her if there were any cocktails that didn’t taste like alcohol, I thought she would look at me like I was crazy, but she didn’t! “My friends who live nearby rave about this place. Maintaining a top rating on Yelp and Google, I had to go. A friend and I showed up around 1:30pm on a Friday for lunch. The owner greeted us and quickly took our orders.

The Deluxe Meat Combo generously fed two men. Every dish on the injera was tasty, but our favorites were the Shewa Doro Tibs, Shewa Alicha Wot, Shewa Doro Wot, and Shewa Bozena Shiro. The portions are generous that we had to ask for more injera.

The space is no-frills, but comes with a few small tables. Street parking is nearby.“
