“Went in today and got some sides to go with something I already had. The Mac & cheese and candies yams are pretty good. I haven't tried the meats yet but I will soon. The employees were friendly and service was fast. I'll be giving them another try happy to see a soul food place with quality food in this area.“

“Enjoyed the roasted veggies. The smashed sweet potato was like a puree, too close to baby pablum.
The two marshmallow-topping was a toxic addition to an otherwise healthy option.
Maybe a sprouted pecan or walnut topping or similar embellishment would not harm consumers with excess synthetic sugar and artificial additives.
I saved my dining partner from drinking the diet cherry sparkling option that destroys GI tract function with Sucralose.
He exchanged it for water in a bottle whose plastic sheds nanoplastics into our bodies then downstream contaminates the environment.
Thankfully, as a holistic practitioner, I have Homeopathic remedies to drain the body of chemicals, heavy metals, pesticides, etc
BTW, I did not see recycling bins to sort post-consumer waste for recycling.
Ingredients lists would be helpful for the sauces covering the mac'n cheese as well as the barbecue sauces so people mindful of blood type compatible foods, diabetes, etc
So many suffering from obesity were in attendance that evening. So many are clearly unaware of the information on how to eat lavishly, manage weight, and avoid disease expression by turning off genetic markers for premature aging, disease, and early death.
Due rising levels of toxicity in our food, air, water, daily detox is required to scrub the Lectins, metals, chemicals, parasites, EMFs, and, most importantly, the PTSD that drives self-destructive decision making about food choices and all things on life's menu.
Would be great if all of bigAG, the chefs, caterers, grocers, manufacturers, drink/water packagers, et al could eliminate the sugars, artificial flavors, colors, preservatives, pesticides, growth hormones, phthalates, PCBs, organophosphates, etc
This population's metabolic and cognitive performance, happiness quotient as well as life expectancy would rise exponentially.
From birth, indoctrination by the fossil fuel industry, bigPharma, bigAg, and related culprits have driven us into a toxic soup that is now a growing tsunami of extreme weather events that takes lives and property.
Education about we spend our money as people who govern food choices, material scientists. and as downstream consumers can drive industry into life affirming standards that makes impact on human and wildlife biology first priority. Allowing wealth over health as governance of human behavior has resulted in a tortuous road to mass suicide beneath most people's awareness.
This restaurant should be praised for its promotion of grass fed meats but regular tweaking is required to stay abreast of creeping toxicity on some critical fronts.
Also, those rugged cylindrical, biodegradable soup containers at Whole Foods might be a better presentation than the thin paper and plastic containers. Wood-like compostable utensils are are also available rather than the plastic-wrapped knives, forks, and spoons.
Otherwise, the people, the ambiance, the BBQ flavored gear, the organized system of delivery, the online ordering option, all make for a continuing groundswell of success. Found this place via PBS' SIGNATURE DISH featuring restaurants with higher than usual standards.“

“First and most importantly everyone working was awesome. The food was awesome. The BNQ sauce was spot on. The smoked wings are amazing. Decent tap selection but not many options. The bar was small but I was there by myself. Definitely worth a visit when in town.“

“Five + Stars. The crew in Greenbelt were exceptional. Had a party catered and an item of food was forgotten. The manager immediately had the item delivered to my house along with an extra side. The guests raved about the food. Greenbelt Mission BBQ will be my number one place for party food. Thanks to all who work there.“

“I had brisket, mac n cheese, collards and potato salad. Everything was delicious. The brisket was tender, juicy and well seasoned. The collards were the right texture, meatless and bursting with flavor! They were as comforting as a hug from grandma. The mac n cheese was nice and the potato salad tasted like a good store bought one. I wasn't expecting that but that's just me. The food portion is generous and the price was well worth it.“

“Amazing atmosphere - service needs a little work. I think this place is heavily understaffed so we did have to wait a decent amount of time for food/drinks and our bill. Two other things that would help improve my rating would be to include dietary restrictions on the menu (especially Gluten Free) and to be able to split checks properly. There was six of us and we asked to split our check between the three couples but the waiter straight up shut us down (didn’t even try). With these improvements, this place would definitely deserve a 5 star rating.“

“Good bbq, not much of sauce options other than normal stuff. I am used to go to a place with lots of creative house made sauce options. Wish they had more choices for sophisticated customers like me when it comes with bbq restaurants =) overall good!“

“4.5 stars!Everything is wonderful about this spot. Just found the ribs a little tough and the menu to be a little too small. This is bbq food with a Mexican twist, the steak is cooked perfectly and I definitely recommend getting it. Price is super fair and portion sizes are generous.“

“Food was worth the wait. Drove from va to md to try this spot. Ribs were delicious and that sauce was something else, had me licking my fingers. The jerk chicken was good. It was more like bbq chicken with sauce on it but still good. Rice and cabbage was on point and the shrimp had great flavor to it. I will definitely be back for more.“

“Good portion sizes and prepared fresh at your table. Music videos were cool and gave insight into the music culture in Korea. The bench seats are HARD! And the automatic tip added to my bill as usual sets me off. Limited dessert menu. I will go back to try the galbi next.“

“I had the brisket, ribs, baked beans and cole slaw. The brisket practically melts and was so delicious. The ribs were great too. Tried several of the sauces. I like the mustard & the origins sauce best. Meal was big enough to ask for a doggie bag to finish it later on.“

>March to June 1/2 slab ribs only: top tier on par with cookout??
>July to September ribs only: burnt on backside, okay topside, heavy charcoal taste and lighter fluid odor.“

“I've been going to Hogs on the Hill for years. I always get the Wild Combo and it comes with pulled pork, minced beef, ribs, chicken, corn bread, and 2 sides. You can't beat that. It is now $19.95 for a small which is plenty of food. Their prices haven't changed much over the years.“

“I was super hungry and saw BBQ and Boba. My first reaction was confusion as to the combo, but after realizing that I and many other people like both, I asked no further questions and followed my grumbling stomach. I am VERY glad that I did! Atmosphere is sparce and simple. You go in, get your food, and find a place to eat it, but it feels appropriate for this style of food- equal parts bbq shack and boba stand. I got the brisket sandwich, which was a very generous portion of supremely tender BBQ with a complimentary sauce and even a bottle of water which seems to just come with the order (nice touch). The stand out to me was how tender the brisket was. Packed with flavor, and not a single bite was remotely dry. The cinnamon toast Boba was delicious and a fantastic compliment. The staff friendly and attentive. Please support this place!!!“
