“We had the fried green tomatoes as our first appetizer. They were tender and topped with lumps of crabmeat. Spectacular! Then we had the fried cheese appetizer. I can’t remember the name of the cheese, but it was delicious in the accompanying sauce and olive oil and pesto. All of the dishes we had came out perfect. My filet medallions were so tender,they melted in my mouth. Hubby got the pork loin over mashed potatoes and Brussels sprouts and loved it. We will definitely come back!”

“Delicious and authentic, fresh Indian style ice cream. For those who are not familiar, Indian ice cream is less sweet and more dense and creamy than the stuff we usually eat here in the US. Also lots of unique delicious flavors! In addition to standards like cookies and cream, mint chocolate chip, cookie dough etc, some really tasty different ones like Alphonso Mango, kulfi, rose, pistachio saffron. Also don’t miss the deliciousness that is the Falooda. So stoked that Kwality is now in the area!”

“First time visiting here. Halal BBQ is a relatively new concept around here and wanted them ncheck it out. Ordered two Halal Beef Brisket sandwich combos with french fries and a canned soft drink each, a Halal Bacon and Brisket combo sandwich with curly fries and can of coke, Mozzarella cheese sticks combo and a chicken tender serving. Overall the family enjoyed the food, my beef bacon was over cooked and the strips of beef brisket were thin slivers of meat with a barely discernable flavor coated with copious amounts of BBQ sauce. First impression was so-so, for me. Seating was barely adequate with people standing over your head to order. It was night time and rainy sonif they have outdoor seating, it was not part of the equation tonight. I will definitely visit again as I like to support small upcoming businesses and I like the concept of contemporary American food for those who prefer to eat Halal.”

“The noodle soup was so flavorful and was perfect! I had the signature dish Lanzhou Beef Noodle Soup with thin noodles. The noodles are hand pulled and made fresh every day and you can tell by the excellent texture and flavor! My new favorite restaurant! Also we were honored by four songs excellently played on the baby grand piano. Thank you for a delightful dinner, perfect service, and inviting atmosphere. “Atwater's is my favorite place for many reasons. Comfortable community atmosphere, enjoyable food and drink, and great staff. In 6 years I've seen Atwater's with a great track record for hiring and training members of its team. But I'd like to credit two in particular today. Joey, the new manager settled into his role quickly just this year and is very engaging, friendly, and happy to help customers directly alongside his team. Alyssa is another fantastic worker and leader in the team. Always paying attention and focused on keeping everything in order and working efficiently. The whole team performs well. But she routinely performs above the standard.”

“This biryani restaurant is my go-to spot for takeout, and it never disappoints. I’ve tried all of their chicken and goat biryanis, and each one is packed with rich, aromatic flavors. The rice is always perfectly cooked fluffy, fragrant, and beautifully spiced while the meat is tender, juicy, and seasoned all the way through. My favourite and go to is the Mutton Pulau. Every order feels consistent and made with care.

“TLDR: BeSeTo in Catonsville is a beautifully renovated Asian food court offering generous portions, excellent Korean comfort dishes, and a fun dose of Korean culture through its downstairs shopping area. A must visit if you enjoy authentic Korean food and variety.

BeSeTo Food Court in Catonsville has become one of my favorite local spots. Located right next to H Mart on Rolling Road, BeSeTo (short for Beijing, Seoul, Tokyo) occupies the space that used to be the longtime Hanori food court where I had been going for nearly 15 years. The renovation here is massive in the best way. The entire space feels brighter and more modern and the mix of vendors has improved dramatically.

The food court is now located upstairs and features five total vendors offering a wide mix of Asian comfort foods. Over the course of a dozen visits I have tried all of them and everything has been fantastic as well as fairly priced. Some of the absolute must tries are the kalguksu with its rich handmade noodles, the sundae which is incredibly hard to find locally, the jajangmyeon and jjambbong duo for when you want to go classic Korean Chinese, and the jokbol when it is available. Portions here are extremely generous, many large enough to share, so it is well worth coming with friends or family.

Ordering is very simple. Each vendor has a numbered menu and you can order easily in English if you do not speak Korean. Food comes out fast and always piping hot which makes it a perfect spot for a quick lunch or casual dinner.

Downstairs you will find the shopping vendors specializing in Korean home goods. They carry everything from cookware and tabletop items to traditional style furniture and even herbal supplements. Browsing through the aisles genuinely reminded me of the household stores I visited in Seoul and it adds a cultural bonus to the overall experience.

Overall, BeSeTo is a gem in Catonsville and a must visit for anyone who loves Korean food or wants to explore a slice of Korean culture. Generous portions, great pricing, and a refreshed space make this an a homerun pick.”

Staff is bingual, but items are labelled and rung up in spanish. This is not an issue as items are visually identifiable, and again the staff is wonderful and helpful. Best mexican I've had in a while here in MD, and the carne asada was fantastic: tender, fresh, juicy. I have a dairy allergy and they were quick to accomodate. Their prices are a little high at about $20 a head, but the portions are large and the food is of top quality. Highly recommended!”
