“I love the hot cocoa from Dolci Gelati at the National Zoo for Zoo Lights. I bought 1 for me and 1 for a friend & went back again for a second night for more on the last night of Zoo Lights. Whipped cream, chocolate & caramel syrup is added to the top. It’s the best treat on a cold winter night or day at the zoo. Thank you!! I’ll keep coming back & bring friends.“

Interesting array of flavors, amazing texture and mouthfeel, and I love that this place is not afraid to get adventurous with flavors. Black Sesame--yum! At the same time, their most simple, traditional flavors are among my favorites--Strawberry and Cookies and Cream are absolutely delightful. I appreciate that this place continues to keep their prices very reasonable, especially given how crazy expensive food has gotten in 2024. “I was searching the universe for lavender honey ice cream as a special treat for Valentine’s Day. My wife and I had it a million moons ago in Palm Springs and we loved it so much. I came across Moorenkos and met Susan who is so, so nice. She was able to get me a nice supply of the lavender honey ice cream and we also stocked up on cinnamon cappuccino. Omg! “We went for a vegan ice cream and checked their website before making the trip but when we arrived not all of the options stated were available so I had to buy a pint instead of a scoop in order to get what wasn't available.
For 1 scoop and 1 pint the total was $21.95
Maybe a bit pricey but when you need a sweet snack after 11pm you pay what they say 😆
Also, staff were very loud yelling back and forth which made it hard to enjoy our time.“
