“My first Korrito!!!! I had a beef Korrito from Seoulspice and was pretty satisfied. I wish it was as thick as the image on the website and I wish maybe it could be made with a less thick piece of seaweed, but I did love all the flavors. If you were to get a Korrito, I’d say just add all the toppings you want. I won’t make any recommendations because I think it can be good any way. I also had the Kale Apple Juice, which was very interesting but the weird combo was not for me. This review might sound a little pessimistic, but Seoulspice was really good. I’ll definitely be eating here again and maybe trying one of the bowls. The rating will only go up from here, but for now I give Seoulspice 4 stars!“

“Every dish we had here was delicious, starting with the guacamole. The medium spice had the perfect amount of spice and it was super fresh. The camerones and trout dishes were my absolute favorites, seasoned to perfection. Even the veggies on the trout dish were amazing. I also enjoyed the brussel sprouts. We didn't mind it, but it can get kind of loud in there so if you're looking for a romantic vibe, this isn't it. It was perfect for a group of girlfriends wanting to celebrate a birthday and catch up. Oh also, if you like margaritas, the Oyamel margarita was awesome!“

“food was very inventive and good, but it was lacking on actual depth of any type of flavor. The service was quite good though we had to wait five minutes to actually be seated because the there was only one person seating people. The interior is very confusing and crowded and the restaurant decor doesn’t really make sense, the fried chicken was very good and unique so was the scallion pancake however, the pho really didn’t have any flavor and they were using chicken stock for some reason so it didn’t really have much flavor.“

“Baked & Wired received so much attention from various websites and reviews - we had to pop by! Georgetown is known for its cupcakes, and I would like to know why!We visited on a sunny Sunday afternoon. We found the the line extending outside the store but it moved quickly. We used the time to visit its website for pictures and to make a decision (we would find later the staff was lacking warmth!)We ordered Strawberry and Vanilla Satin. While the strawberry was touted to be top seller, we found it was way too sweet. We shaved off the frosting and found a deliciously moist cupcake with a fragrant strawberry taste. Vanilla satin topped with dark chocolate proved to be a perfect pairing.Adequate seating in the cafe with one restroom at the back. Good for afternoon break while exploring Georgetown!Also bought home the granola which has a subtle hint of coconut. It was yummy but the hefty price tag $17.50 will mean not a second purchase…“

“Went to Jaleo for the first time for my Wife's birthday. We sat in the outdoor tables, service was highly professional but could have been faster. The food was amazing from start to finish. The prices were very very reasonable for the quality and location of this establishment. Will definitely recommend to anyone and everyone. We are already planning the next visit to Jaleo.“

“We walked by this place not really looking to eat but the exterior stopped us in our tracks. We looked in and saw all the pastries and decided to make a quick pit stop. We got a Pistachio Meringue Roulette to share. Mistake. Should have gotten one for myself. The flavors work perfectly together. “This location is a nice gem in Georgetown - I frequent here and treat myself when I want a delicious bake good - this past visit I had a delicious cinnamon bun - it was absolutely delicious and of course a nice cup of hot brew! “Most delicious Eggs Benedict ever, on light crispy bread with a layer of spinach. The Hollandaise was perfect. There were three of us and we all thought it was the best Eggs Benedict we ever had. Service was great. Charming little neighborhood gem. Could have been in Paris if everyone were speaking French.“

“Good spot is Georgetown for Italian.It’s in a nice location near the canal and close to the waterfront. Dinner time and sometimes lunch are very busy here. During three week for dinner is not so bad especially after the rush.The interior environment is not very conducive to conversing. The noise levels are more intrusive than other restaurants. That’s why a weekday dinner here is nicer especially if on a date.A good option is takeout for pizza.The pasta and meatballs are very good.“

“I visited the West End location with my husband while visiting DC and had a phenomenal experience. Aside from the food being absolutely to die for, the customer service is really what impressed me. At the register, we were greeted by an older black woman who was so kind to share suggestions and explain the menu to me despite being very busy. It truly made the ordering experience a breeze. My latte was delivered by a younger light skinned black male and I am not sure where he received his customer service training by but by far he’s got it down pat. After delivering my order he told me, “have a nice day, okay?” but it wasn’t just a pleasantry, it truly seemed like a genuine request. I am beyond impressed with the food, ambiance, and customer service provided!“

“Literally my favorite restaurant in the world. I have been going there since they were in their previous location in College Park, and the food has been consistently amazing for these last 20ish years. Their menu offers extensive options for omnivores, pescatarians, vegetarians, and vegans alike, with the flexibility of omitting fish sauce from their Burmese dressing. If you like bitter, complex flavors, you HAVE to try their green tea leaf salad.“

Morning bun - very flavorful (cardamom & lemon) but a bit too dry for me. 3 stars Espresso & tonic - I did not like this at all, and will definitely get a safer drink option next time. There was a line at 130pm which I was surprised about, but it moved very quickly and we had no trouble finding a seat. Cute place, will be returning!“

“I love Pasha Castle! All of the treats are delightful. The staff was very helpful, and we were able to taste test some things to help make our decision- which wasn’t easy with some many delicious options. The Pasha Special is to die for, and the Turkish Delight options make me feel at home. The only downside to this place is that there are limited seating options, and the atmosphere and design are very minimalistic for those who might want to eat there treats while here instead of taking them to-go.“

The place has an Asian-inspired decor and offers quality teas, all-day breakfast, bento boxes, light Japanese and Thai-style meals, and some snacks such as cookies and Asian-inspired desserts like matcha gelato, jasmine creme brulee, and mochi.We ordered salmon and Korean Beef Brisket bento sets, which tasted amazing. The salads that came with them added crunchiness to the food. The mochi had the expected texture and taste. It's a self-service establishment, so there is little to discuss about the service.“

“I got the chocolate croissant, and was really surprised when I realized it was a whole wheat croissant. The first whole wheat croissant I've ever had, and it really adds a nice nutty flavor to the croissant. The texture of the inside is also a bit chewier than your average croissant, with a lovely crisp on the outside. I just wish there was a bit more chocolate, but the croissant itself was wonderful, and I'm super glad I got to try the whole wheat. I also got a cortado, which was just ok. This is definitely a bakery first, so would highly recommend stopping by and grabbing some of the pastries!“

“Wow! Ate breakfast there on a recent trip to DC and would definitely go again. Our server was knowledgeable and friendly. The stuffed French toast was a slice of sweet heaven! The corned beef hash and crab cake eggs benedict were slices of savory heaven! We could not decide whose meal was the best and there was even more on the menu that looked phenomenal.Update August 2022 - definitely happy we came back! He was super attentive, helpful, and full of positive energy. He made sure to get my order correct. I’ll definitely be back again and again because there seems to always be something new to try. I am so happy it’s reopened. Definitely go upstairs to Churchkey for after dinner drinks. “Everything, especially the food, is unexpectedly great. Especially the avocado toast with the lot (add Cholula!) Sunshine Burrito and Vanilla, oat iced latte. The blueberry muffin doesn’t have a ton of them in it which is my preference. And the vegan muffin is close (in taste) to a carrot cake. Whew! My favs!! ?“

“I know what you're thinking: this is a a coffee bar located in the lobby of an apartment building. It can't be that great, can it? Well, you would be wrong. This is my neighborhood coffee spot and I have been here so many times I've lost count. The coffee you get here is consistently well made. I haven't had everything on the menu, but the breakfast items (pastries and made-to-order dishes) are top notch. The funfetti cookie and classic breakfast sandwich deserve special mention. The front of house staff are incredibly nice and usually down to chat as much or as little as you'd like as they make your drink. Even better, this is now one of the first locally owned and operated coffee shops in the DC area where the workers have come together to bargain and set standards for their working conditions with management. It's well known that union-made coffee inherently tastes better because you know that baristas have power and a voice when management inevitably starts to cut corners and prioritize the profits of their budding coffee empire over the health and safety of their employees. (I don't know the owners, I just know how incentives work.) So sip in solidarity, my friends! If the quality declines here it'll be because management has decided to cultivate a hostile work environment to try and undermine the solidarity and hope it's employees have worked so hard to build.“

“I had a great dinner here. I liked the cocktails. The BDT fries were great. They were cut thick, and were crispy on the outside and soft inside. The duck was delicious and cooked well. The sauce that came with it went well with the duck. I also liked the ambiance of the restaurant. It had a modern, minimalistic vibe.“
