It’s more of a mom and pop restaurant not so much fancy place. But the food is soo good!
My co workers and I came across this place on accident and have run it back a few times now. Put go to is the pineapple fried rice, the pad Thai and the Tom Kha. Also very generous portion sizes.“

“We recently tried Sala Thai at Park Kennedy and had a great experience. The service was very friendly and welcoming, and the food was excellent. The kapow had a perfect spice level and was full of flavor. We also really enjoyed the crab rangoons and wontons, both were very good. “A large group of us enjoyed our dinner here on a midweek early evening. Everyone enjoyed their food selection and the noise level was low enough that all at the table could hear each other speak. “Surprisingly excellent Thai spot in Chevy Chase, with a limited but happily opinionated menu with some classic items as well as street food fare. We enjoyed the Beef massaman ( Slow-cooked beef in Massaman curry with potatoes, onions, and peanuts); it was a warm, nourishing comfort curry. Alongside the Baa Mee ( egg noodle, five spice roasted chicken, bok-choy, fried garlic,
peanuts, spring onion, and cilantro), it was excellent combination of flavorful noodles and a rich creamy curry. Service was excellent and the space was modern and vibrant. Acoustics were poor however, as the amplified din made it very difficult to carry on a conversation. Really the only note for the restaurant.“

“After a friend recommended Buzz Thai Eatery, I’ve eaten from there several times. The staff are always friendly, courteous and extremely patient whenever I have questions about items on the menu. The food portions are generous and the flavors are fantastic! I highly recommend Buzz Thai Eatery, especially their buuz & khuushuur (they’re my favorite so far.) I tried a couple (new to me) items today, sticky rice with mango, California rolls & shrimp tempura maki rolls - they were all delicious. I’m looking forward to trying other items on future trips!“

“I recently ordered through Postmates from this location for delivery. I got the spring rolls, mango sticky rice, and curry puffs.

The spring rolls were really good, they had I think glass noodles along with the veggies inside. They are quite small so they give you 4 of them.

The curry puffs are an item I have gotten from multiple restaurants and theirs were on the small size but they give you 3 instead of the usual 2. They were a bunch more spicy compared to others and it was too spicy for my liking. This is the only time I haven't finished an order of curry puffs due to taste. The cucumber-vinegar sauce also wasn't very good. It wasn't vinegary enough, basically tasted watered down and this is a crucial part of the dish, so I was a bit disappointed.

The mango stick rice was incredibly good! The mango was perfectly fresh and ripe! They give you a decent portion of sticky rice with coconut and such on top. If for no other reason I'll be ordering from them again just to get more of this and to try other dishes!

A suggestion: one thing that would improve my experience and enjoyment is if the store had a sweet plum type sauce that wasn't spicy that was made in the restaurant with good natural ingredients. Many of the prepackaged sauces have ingredients I'm unable to eat due to food allergies. I would pay more, and order more often if I really liked the sauce. One example in the market is Chipotle makes their Polynesian sauce that I buy in the large bottles because it's the only sweet and sour type sauce I can eat and use it for all stores nuggets because they make it themselves without all the artificial ingredients. I also order coconut shrimp from red lobster as opposed to other places because I love their pina colada sauce.... just a thought. There are a lot of us who can't eat the artificial stuff. Msg is another one that commonly is a problem for those with migraine and it would be great if you had a good alternative. I think restaurants underestimate the value of a good sauce from scratch.“

Drinks are a bit pricy but its located in a food court so you can find a beverage at close location for $1. And the only (oh really) factor was when I got my receipt they had charged (without notice) .05 for the bag the put the food in as take out "at a carry out restaurant". I was in the area for 4 hours my next meal did not charge me for the receptacles the supplied me with.“

I wouldn’t say that this tastes like authentic Thai food (we’ve been all over Thailand), but it’s good in a pinch. Never dined in since the dining room is a bit odd.“
