“Hidden Gem (at least I didn’t know about it lol) I happened upon it and decided to give it a shot. I was the only diner so I had the place to myself.

Solid sushi without the pomp and circumstance. Volcano roll was good!

“First time visiting. We ordered the General Tso's Chicken, Combination Lo Mein, and California Sushi Rolls (8 pieces). The total came to $33.

TIP: any oder of $30 comes with one complimentary can soda.

Any order over $35 comes with a complimentary regular (no veggies, no chicken, etc.) Lo Mein.

“This is the only spot in Colesville and nearby for sushi unless you want to drive down the road about 5-ish miles. The sushi is decent but not our favorite, so we prefer to drive to a spot in Olney for takeout or dine in. It’s good in a pinch if you’re really craving sushi.“

“THE BEST!!!!! I came for my anniversary with my boyfriend, the Food was so good and fresh. Everyone from the top Chef to the person helping clean off tables was so welcoming and inviting and went above and beyond for us on our special day, even going as far as to make us items that were not listed on the menu and staying late to do so honestly, the best restaurant experience I’ve had in years. Me and my boyfriend don’t like to leave the house much due to the decline of the restaurant industry and the lack of service provided, but this reinvigorated us and honestly help restore faith in humanity and the industry. you would think we knew these people for years when we just met them yesterday. I love how you can get a healthy vegan meal at a relatively decent price when on the go. Now let's address the other reviews, my first impression of this place 2 years ago was not that great, but giving them another shot was worth it and I sat at the bar solo without my newborn and my former lmao. (We still love that person) And now I love this place lol - I will be returning.

“This has become our go to place not just for Thai, but for comfort food. Dine in or take out- always delicious. Pad Thai, Green Curry, and pork curry are our tops.

One thing that would make this place a 6/5 is if they can officially say their sushi is gluten free— which feels like a really small ask 🙏🏼“

“This spot was recommended by a friend while I was visiting town, and I’m so glad we stopped in for dinner. The food and drinks were excellent, and our server was fantastic. He gave a thorough breakdown of the menu. As a pescatarian, I especially appreciated the options. The shrimp ceviche and shrimp tempura were both fresh, flavorful, and perfectly prepared. I’d definitely come back next time I’m in town!“

“Food: food was great, only deduction was the chicken appetizer was extremely small for the price paid. The pineapple frid rice was really good but pricy at almost $23. About 5 pieces of juicy shrimp were in the dish as well. Kruba cashew chicken was good.

Service: got there as soon as they opened for lunch so seated right away and food was quickly delivered.

Atmosphere: nice but a bit dated. Many of the tables are uneven and no longer sit together flush. Ambiance was nice, Thai decor all around and wooden vibe.

Final impression: very good for a quick lunch in downtown DC and head back to the office. Might be added to a regular rotation in DC lunch adventures.“

“When I say moving to this area there are not a lot of fast food spots I like to eat in! This one here though I must say is one I will! The atmosphere for lunch was very nice and tranquil! No overly loud music just a nice little vibe!! It was clean and the service was fast! The gentlemen that help me was nice and pleasant! I got the lunch special and it was more than enough food!!! Since I have been in the area a lot, I started marking which rolls I have had & liked, treating the roll like like Pokémon, 'got to eat them all'. So far the only rolls I didn't like were ones with ingredients or cooking methods that I am not a fan of. Two of the specialty rolls are usually enough food for me since when eating in you get a small bowl of soup, a small appetizer roll, and a piece of cake. I have been going here for about 4 years now and will recommend this place to anyone in the area.“

“I went at noon and it was not crowded at all, and it was quiet, a big bonus for me these days. No loud music and people shouting in order to converse over it. The food was very good, very fresh. I highly recommend this restaurant for Asian fusion cuisine and sushi.“

“Whatever salmon you guys are using, KEEP using it. The pieces are juicy and really nice thick decent size, unlike other hibachi places this place does not use frozen thin cut salmon, and I hope they never do !! keep up the good work. Salmon is too expensive for any restaurant to be using Thin small frozen salmon. I appreciate this location for their salmon 100%. I actually drive 40mins to this location and pass 100 other hibachi places only because I know the salmon is worth it every time !“

“I grew up on Detroit style pizza being from Detroit area. I can say over the past few years Detroit style pizza has become popular. I have never had a pizza as good as this Detroit style pizza. The best, give it a try.“

It’s a weird one-stop-shop for all things lunch. But I digress. We tried a variety of basic sushi like their California roll. It was all good. The rolls were not huge. But we enjoyed them. The service is a bit gruff. And the ambiance is pure 80’s fast food. But forget about all of that. Go in, grab some sushi while your spouse/partner/friend grabs a slice. And enjoy a good meal together. We will return.“
