“Flame & Cones provided pizza and dessert for our Yacht Club party. They showed up at the marina in plenty of time to get set up to deliver their goods. While they were at our request, they had sufficient food for other marina slip holders. The pizza selections were varied and most enjoyable. “Amazing! The sushi tasting menu was exceptional and filling! Delicious and whimsical cocktails. Bar in the back, very hip and chic workout being pretentious. Wagyu beef skewers from the bar was one of the best things I’ve ever had. All the skewers were amazing and the fried chicken and other bar snacks are classic bar foods, but way elevated- can not wait for the rest of the space to open!“

“It is a high end dining experience for sure. Beautiful setting. Lots of silverware and settings. Many courses. Lots of staff interaction that takes place over three hours. With all that said, only one course -- the soup -- was excellent. The other food was good, interesting, and unusual. Glad we went. For the price point, over $300 for the two of us, not in a rush to go back. I am glad to see a one star Michelin vegan restaurant in DC.“

“We had an early dinner before attending a performance at the Ford’s Theater. We made reservations through Open Table and were immediately seated upon arrival. The service was great. Our server recommended several dishes that we loved. There were abundant vegan and vegetarian options. Chilorio de Res tacos were mouthwatering as were the Hongos en Milto ones. In fact, every dish we ordered was delicious. One dish (chilaquiles) never arrived from the kitchen but we were pressed for time so we opted to have it taken off our bill instead of waiting for them to prepare it separately. Dessert, Cafe de Olla, was phenomenal. Pics are only some of the items we tried. Great atmosphere for date night and a milestone birthday celebration. Highly recommend.“

“Albi is exceptional! Such a great evening with amazing food. The only, and very small, issue we had was the volume in the restaurant. We had a hard time hearing the server a few times. Nonetheless the food was fantastic and the wine pairing really topped the evening off.“

“I’ve been searching for a consistently good Indian spot that has all the essentials without being overpriced or too fancy for years and this place definitely hit all the marks. The Lamb Saag and garlic naan was so good and perfectly spicy. The mango lassi and vegetable samosas were also exactly what I needed. This will for sure be my go to Indian food spot moving forward. “First visit; I went for Restaurant Week. I ordered the chicken corn chowder, the short rib ravioli and the caramel cheesecake. The chowder was excellent, a great balance of corn and chicken and a goodly amount--but not too much--pepper. I loved it...and a very generous portion! The ravioli was super too--cooked to perfection, stuffed to capacity with cheese, accompanied by a nice hunk of well-seasoned and -cooked short rib. I wasn't able to finish it, so I took some home. I took the cheesecake home too and ate it after a couple of conf calls. Just the right amount of caramel with a couple of strawberries and a creme Anglaise sauce. Scrumptious!! I don't remember many occasions when I've loved all three courses of a meal, but that was certainly the case tonight. I can't wait to go back.“

The menu is somewhat like a tapas place in that the portions are fairly small and if you go hungry, you may need to order more than one. Has an outside area, heated, where you enjoy the official bird song of Washington DC - the police siren.“

“Naked lunch is tasty and fresh. The staff is friendly and do their best to manage the long lines. My favorites are the greek potatoes (sub olives for mushrooms!), black bean burger with a side salad, buffalo chickpea tacos, crab cake sandwich, and moler bowl (mix the original dressing with the sesame dressing and add extra mushrooms!). Sometimes, they have a daily/weekly special that highlights an off menu entree, a soup, a muffin, and a drink of some sort. Shout out to Rob! He makes the best food! Comfortable seating on the upper level with views of the nearby park makes for a great spot to relax. Highly recommend over the many chain coffeeshops dotting Navy Yard.“

“I went to the restaurant Monday night, even for a Monday night the place was packed. My wife and I ordered the special 1 and the special 3. The food was very delicious but the service was even extra ordinary! After our server realized my wife has a hearing problem, she tired to help us order by the few sign language she knows. She told my wife “Going out for dinner experience includes ordering food for yourself so I wanted you to part of it” which made my wife so emotional. By the end of our night we taught her some new sign languages which might help her for other customers. She was so friendly and patient even though the house was so packed. I’m so happy my wife had the experience she did. I didn’t know it met so much to my wife until I saw how happy her face was. I will definitely recommend it for people who have hard of hearing or family member. It will definitely make them happy they are part of the EXPERIENCE rather than sit there while other people order the food for them.“

“keep in mind that the lobster roll is a warm butter, connecticut style roll which was SUPER disappointing when I had the expectations set that it would be a nice cold roll with some warm butter drizzled or added to the side.

oysters were delicious and flavorful, but pretty small in size. menu was pretty pricy for the amount of food given. I will say, although I was disappointed in the lobster roll, the amount of lobster that they give was very satisfying- they pack the roll with a ton of meat.
