“First I would like to say that I wish there were more than 5 stars. My son and I are visiting the DC area for the Cherry Blossom festivities. My son has a love for Indian food ever since his trip to India. I have never tried Indian food ever. So this was my very first experience. From the moment we walked in the door our amazing experience began. The atmosphere is beautiful and so is the staff. Our server, April was super helpful and very knowledgeable. She has an amazing spirit and is wonderful with her job! The food... was very fresh, aromatic and DELICIOUS!! My son said the food was the closest to the food in India that he has had here in the states. For my first time... OMG!!! I am HOOKED! The only bad part is that I have to go back to Florida and wait impatiently for my next visit.“

“I have been twice to this place and both times the experience has been good. Zucchini kofta and daal makhani was good but I felt paneer pasanda can improve. Their menu has a very limited vegetarian options which is kind of disappointing as it would be difficult to go again and again due to limited vegetarian options. The ambience was exceptional and serving staff was courteous. They really took care of my Food Allergies.Drinks were average.Give it a shot and try for yourself!Dietary restrictions: If you tell them about your food Allergies they will take care of those.“

“Delhi Spice is one of the best Indian restaurants in the DC area. Definitely try their tandoori wings, some of the most tender flavorful wings I’ve ever tried. The owner and manager Sudhir is one of the friendliest people you will ever meet. Highly recommend stopping by!“

“We wanted to visit this place from a long time after hearing about it from friends but since we live 45 minutes away, we never got a chance. Luckily, today we were in the area and finally got to try their pizza. I have had fusion pizzas at a few other places in the past but this was the best so far! Thin crust, well done, and perfect taste! We had a large Kadhai Paneer and a medium chicken tikka between our family of three which was more than enough. We have some left overs for lunch now! The owner Manoj was really nice and gave us recommendations for choosing pizza, (out of the so many options they have) since it was our 1st time. The kind of customer service he provides is rare to find these days. Would love to eat this pizza more often if we lived close by.“

“We were looking for a spot to have lunch after checking out a local museum. This was on a list of places I wanted to try so we tried it out. Ambiance - It wasn't as fancy as I imagined it would be, but it was still nice. I looks like a lot of people come here for lunch. Food - The food was good. The palak paneer was a little sweet for me, which was kind of weird. The butter chicken could've used more spices. The tomato was the prevalent flavor. The garlic naan was on point! Service - The service was friendly and attentive. They made some menu suggestions, but we already knew what we wanted to order. My son could've used a refill of water though. Overall, I'd recommend this spot. I'd like to come back to try their desserts.“

“Service was excellent and food was pretty good. The prawn vindaloo and daal fry, in particular, were tasty. However, portions are quite small for the price (and seemed to have shrunk, along with an increase in $ over the last year or two) so wouldn’t say it’s good value for money, especially when compared to other comparable Indian restaurants in the DMV.“

“Food was great. Overall satisfied with the meal. Wait staff was quick and friendly. Worth a visit. Only way it could be improved is to have citronella candles on the table. There are no candles on the tables outside. Be sure to tip generously!“

“Everything tasted amazing. I kept eating until it hurt and then I was cramming more food in my mouth because my tastebuds wanted to ignore my stomach’s pleas. I wish I had a bigger stomach to taste many more dishes because Rasika seems like a place that makes every single dish delicious with a variety of different flavors to keep you interested and wanting more. Service was great, they tended to our needs without being overbearing.“

“Was taken there for my birthday. My cocktail was superb and some of the best samosas I've had. They weren't too oily and mostly flaky and crispy. For Dinner, thw wife had Chicken Tikka Masala which tasted amazing and the chicken was very tender. It tasted "simple" and I do mean that in the nicest way considering I've had this dish at other restaurants and the flavors and spices are too overpowing. I had the Miz tandoori platter with a delicious lamb and chicken tikka. As good as they were, the star of the dish is the salmon. Cooked and seasoned perfectly. Many restaurants don't get salmon right and it's usually overcooked and to my delight that was not the case here. Accompanied by the basket of naan that includes regular, onion, and garlic flavors and rice were a great combination. Raj and his staff deliver high quality of service and friendliness to the customer to go along with the delectable cuisine. Bravo Raj, bravo. I Can't wait to go back“

“This was BY FAR the best dosas and Idli we have had in years! Chef Paul is amazing and he told me he doesn’t believe in catering or delivery because South Indian food is best served hot and fresh and I couldn’t agree more! The Idlis melted in my mouth. The dosas were just perfect - the masala and chutney and sambhar -10/10! Go - no run to this place!“

“A family run and operated restaurant. Manish and his sons not only deliver the best Indian cuisine, but they welcome all with warth and kindness. As for their food: first timers will love the chicken tiki masala. We love the lamb or fish, biriani. I personally found favorites in two vegetarian dishes that have convinced me I could totally go vegetarian one day. ?“

“This place is an awesome place. But I noticed one thing about one of the Indian customer that they are being so rude about the service. Customer service was awesome. But the lady was rude. It’s my personal opinion about not being so rude with them. You don’t know how people eating in Gaza. Allah can take you same position within a short time period that you can’t imagine. Please be honest about your reviews.“

Drinks are very unique from mirchi drink, paan drink, saffron drink to kala khatta drink ( a big hit for our group). Appetizer, panner pakora, soya chaap, palak chaat, and hariyali kabobs( non-veg fav). All were fresh and good. I’ll ask to spice it a notch for us next time;) Main course , paneer makhani (all kids fav), daal makhani (fresh and hot), Palak corn, all good. Missi roti was the best!!! Malai kulfi was awesome. Gulab jamuns melted in mouth. Presentation is excellent. Small restaurant but good to treat yourself and ur friends.“

“Ok ok, so I've been in the US for 5 years since leaving the UK this is without doubt the best Indian restaurant I've had since leaving.I didn't even get pictures lolThe key to any good Indian is not being asked a spice level, the dish itself should dictate the spice level“

“This place is neither an Indian nor a Mexican restaurant. The people who work here are mostly Mexican/Latin Americans (I didn't see any Indian Americans working here) but the food has Indian influence(the keyword is "influence"). So take it for what it is, It's good for a cheap quick bite but that's about it. Don't expect anything more than that. If I had half a star I would give this a 4.5 but I believe 4 stars is not too harsh either.“

“Just had Indigo for the first time, tried the lamb masala and the shrimp tikka masala, loved both! We have high tolerance for spicy food, so we ordered it spicy (not very spicy) and it felt very spicy haha, had to add some yogurt to be able to eat it without discomfort, so watch out!“

“Authentic Desi food. BIG PORTIONS It is so tasty and spicy. We asked for spicy food and it had good amounts of spice. HALAL FOOD People are so nice here. “I've ordered from this restaurant multiple times and I have also dined in. It's now a staple for me. Their food is pretty consistent and is always on point when I order. I highly recommend their Salmon and Fish biriyani. It comes with a lovely yogurt sauce that pairs well with the rice. The rice and fish are well seasoned and it's enough portions to have leftovers the next day. The service is pretty quick but when I've gone it's not crazy busy so I've been fortunate. It's a nice casual spot to dine in on a date, with friends or by yourself!“

“After a night out on the town drinking with my boys Reggie, Clyde and Billy Boy our Uber dropped us off at this bar. After having our fill of booze there we needed something salty in our system so we saw this pizza joint in walking distance. The dudes behind the counter were pretty chill and even let us sit for a minute while we was waiting for our pizza. It was around 1 am and they still made it for us which was a plus. Four drunken fools up to no good lol. Thanks for exemplary service and excellent food. we def coming back thats for true :-D“

“My husband treated us to lunch from Krazi Kebob, and his recommendation of the Chicken Kati Rolls turned out to be an absolute game-changer for my taste buds. As someone unfamiliar with this type of food, I had no idea what to expect, but let me tell you, the experience was nothing short of fantastic. The highlight of the meal was undoubtedly the Chicken Kati Rolls. The chicken was bursting with flavor. The recommended side of spicy sauce added an extra kick that elevated the overall experience. To complement the rolls, we also ordered fries. They were perfectly cooked and paired exceptionally well with a mayo dip. Adding to the positive experience was the seamless pick-up process. Ordering was a breeze, and when we arrived to collect our meal, everything was ready and waiting. Definitely coming back!“
“Mild Indian food - fit and easy to try for rookie food explore. Anyway, overall is still tastes good. The highlight is about service, very polite and professional. “We just ordered Rajaji via DoorDash. We went for things we hadn't tried before anywhere: Gosht Biryani (lamp and rice), Palak Paneer, Murgh Tikka (chicken grilled), and Garlic Naan (well, we had tried this before). Everything was fantastic: the biryani was flavorful but not too hot, palak paneer smooth and savory, perfect garlic naan, and the murgh tikka delicious. Honestly, we had to force ourselves to NOT eat the whole order (which was probably 25% more food than we needed). Can't wait to order here again.“

“I ordered delivery and we were pleasantly surprised at the large portions. I ordered pakoras, a curry and the aloo gobi. My husband and I could only eat half of it, so we will have another meal out of it. The pakoras were really hot even though I ordered mild, and vice versa for the chicken curry, but it was so good, I'm still giving them five stars.“

“Excellent experience, we had to add an extra person to our reservation last minute. The staff worked it out and were able to accommodate us. The food was fantastic (the spiced wings were just ok, a bit fatty and greasy), i prefer a crispier skin. The makahni, tikki masala, paneer, pakora were all very good. The noise level was nice as there were 5 of us, we were able to converse and hear each other easily. Prices are reasonable, it had been a while since we were here, glad to know that it is still excellent!“

“You know when they say, "Hole in the walls have the best food." This is definitely true about this place. You would not expect delicious Indian cuisine from a chicken and waffle take out, but boy is it good. Love the chicken Biryani and their whole wings. Just plain good fast food, at a reasonable price with large portions enough for leftovers. .“

“In this unassuming spot lies your next tasty meal. We shared a combo #8 with a chicken and a seekh (ground beef) kabob with rice, small salad of lettuce/cucumbers/onions, chana (chickpeas) and roti (bread). Had a fresh mango lassi to go with it and ate it too fast to take a picture. It was plenty of food for us to share and enjoy. Don’t expect much of the decor - it’s the food and the kind people that make this place great.“

“Whilst I was on a trip to the area I stumbled upon Masala Express. In search for gluten free and vegan friendly options I decided to give it a try. I ordered the Aloo Gobi which comes with a large side of rice. This was truly the best Indian food I have ever had. The service was phenomenal. The waiters as well as the owners were very kind and appreciative of the tip I left at the end of my meal. Masala Express is a fairly small restaurant with only two tables, so if you have a large party I recommend taking out your order. Overall, Masala Express is an amazing place to spend your evening when visiting Arlington, VA.“

“Food is absolutely delicious and the staff at Himalayan Doko are the kindest! We ate family style and all the dishes were so full of flavor. The Tandoori Chicken Wings and the Lamb Rogan Josh were my favorites, but you can't go wrong with any dish - everything I tried was delicious.I am also so, so appreciative of how they were able to accommodate our reservation of a large party (20+ people). “Great food, we ordered 2 starters and 2 entrée and they all were very flavourful. Chicken tikka pizza was good and so was the veg biryani. Biryani items were not present in menus or I wasn’t able to see them but the server helped us with it. We asked for extra hot and they made it well, try extra hot only it you can withstand it else go for mild or medium. And yes, all entrées is served along with white rice. They have few types of Indian beers priced reasonably at $6-$7 range.Overall, the place though is small it has good food and priced well.Vegetarian options: Veg Korma, Paneer tikka masala, lentil soup, veg pakora, veg biryani.“

“The tandoori chicken (asked them to make it extra spicy) is the best I’ve had in the city. Comes with rice/naan and chickpeas. Not ideal to dine in though. Just take out.Unlike most reviews here I do NOT recommend the butter chicken. Tangy/sour, runny and a strong tomato flavor and a whole lot of food coloring. Not authentic.“

“The food was pretty decent, but the service was lacking. I asked the server a couple of questions about the menu and it seemed like he had never tried any of the food and knew nothing about what was on the menu. I would come back for the food but just don’t expect too much. Also there was incense burning which is fine, but it was so incredibly strong it was giving me a headache just being in the place“

“Ordered over the phone. Just a little too far to deliver. Carryout picked up in store and it was not as visually appealing as the pictures but flavors were SO on point! Asked for extra spicy vindaloo and the ghost pepper chicken. They did NOT mess around. Garlic Naan was very good. A little chewy but again flavors we all great.Parking: Parking lot is a little sketchy. Police officers are everywhere.“

“I had to knock off a star. The fare is quite amazing, I’ve always had great meals here. But . . . . . I have to take off a star. They added large TV sets since I was here before and the dining atmosphere is ruined by soccer games and what I guess is Indian rap music blaring on another. Totally awful distractions from trying to intimately enjoy their incredible food. Also, a mysterious “service charge” appeared on the very bottom of our bill. If it was noted on the menu I never saw it. The server’s explanation of this extra 15% charge was unintelligible. When the credit slip arrived, it was asking for yet another tip. I’m not a cheapskate. I worked in restaurants for many years and know how difficult it can be. Asking for a tip on top what already has a service charge is a bit arrogant. So, pretty awesome food. I would go back with earplugs and a sharper eye on the bill.“

“I came to Woodlands for a large group party and we had a great time. Be sure to order plenty of appetizers because the main entrees will take longer for larger groups. We ordered a large variety of items including samosas, mango lassi, and more. The entrees came with more than enough food for one person! We all ended up having to take to go boxes. One wish I had would be for more water refills throughout the mood. The restaurant itself was pretty warm and the food made us even more thirsty. This is a great option for authentic and flavorful vegetarian indian food.“
