“Okay let me tell you- I have eaten at many places and as such, many Italian places. However, Fratellis in Middletown Maryland has now topped them all. My significant other and I went there for our anniversary and it was an amazing experience. Despite being busy, they treated us like family and the waiter stopped by extremely frequently to check if we needed anything. We had two flavors of sangria, the meatball sliders, chicken Alfredo, and lobster stuffed raviolis. All dishes came with GENEROUS portions, enough for two people two share OR a perfect lunch for the following day. To top it off, the desert was phenomenal! We had their carrot cake which was 6 layers of perfection! We will absolutely be returning in the future.“

They’re top-notch, perfectly balanced, and not overly sweet like so many places tend to make them. A special shoutout to Liz the bartender, who was amazing! She was friendly, knowledgeable, and clearly takes pride in what she creates behind the bar. Her cocktails were spot-on and elevated the entire experience. “The crab cakes lacked seasoning. Same for the cream of crab soup. The French onion soup was too salty, while not unusual, it wasn't expected for this level of restaurant. Our wait staff was excellent. And the atmosphere is also excellent. It was our first time for dinner. We'd been numerous times for lunch and will limit ourselves to lunch in the future.“

“My husband and I have been dining at Little Alex’s for around 5 years now but today I felt compelled to make a review! The food is ALWAYS delicious & it’s the only local pizza that gets close to pizza from my home town. In addition I want to comment on how CLEAN their restaurant is & what got me today is that this is the first time I’ve used their restroom in-house and it was SOOOO CLEAN. That speaks volumes to me. The floor, the walls, the toilet, the sink - spotless. It didn’t have any spell to it and it is clear that they take great pride in their space. I mean the hazy, profoundly complex brews that are naturally fermented found at rural pubs. Those are truly flavorful bevies with tannins and astringency - swirling with earthy and herbal notes and deeply fruity aromas cut with satisfying vinous tartness. The aftertaste just goes on forever. And each of these ciders were unique with their own strong personalities. After returning to the US, I was unable to find this kind of cider, despite visiting as many as i could find in california, virginia and various atlantic coastal regions. Today i found it again here! The first sip brought tears to my eyes. This is true cider! i could keep writing but it cannot capture the magical liquid Eric captures in his bottles! Also, please dont review if you have already made up your mind that cider should only taste like angry orchard, strong bow or bold rock. These ciders are categorically different from those; as different as coors is from belgian lambics.“

The venue speaks for itself but my wife Raven and I really want to give thanks to Brian, Loree and the rest of the team at Springfield Manor. From the communications before the wedding to the wedding day itself they were fantastic.

“I had a great experience getting takeout from Big Chef Chinese in Frederick, MD! This was my first time visiting, while my partner has been coming here since she was a kid and highly recommended it.

The person who took our order was very friendly and welcoming. We ordered the General Tso’s lunch special, beef lo mein, hot and sour soup, and the chicken mai fun lunch special. Everything was delicious, fresh, and full of flavor.

The young blonde server had some friends walk in after us and skipped us completely and went right for her friends so it took that much longer to get service and food. I wasn't going to let that keep me from coming back though. Let's fast forward to yesterday my birthday brunch meal. Different server, different meal and different company I came with. Server was sweet, just didn't check to make sure we were happy with anything until we were ready for boxes. (She was saying bye to a friend that was leaving as she was coming to finally check to see how things were) BUT literally every bite I took from the Breakfast Brunch Burrito was heavenly! “This is our local Chinese restaurant and we order from them regularly. Their food is good and their prices are fair. What I really wanted to speak on is their humanity! Unfortunately we ordered about $45 of food and ended up having a medical emergency about 15 mins after we ordered that we needed to rush to the hospital. We called China Sea to ask them to cancel our order but it was too late. They had already made our food. I told them we weren’t going to be able to pick up the food but I would pay for the food we ordered. The woman on the food was incredibly kind and refused payment for the meal we weren’t able to pick up. That kind of humanity and understanding is rare in today’s world. We appreciated it so much and definitely will continue ordering from them!“
