“I would like to personally thank Jessica, the manager at this location: Tangers National Harbor. She is an excellent manager and even better person. My disabled sister lost her purse with her phone. She is non verbal and very distraught because she apparently left the purse in the bathroom. By the time we went back for it, the purse was gone. To the person that found it - Thank you so much for giving it to Jessica and thank you again Jessica! We are forever grateful!“

“I loved this spot! We went around 4 PM on a Tuesday and it was lovely, quiet, and delicious. The staff clearly love being there and provided top notch service, with several recommendations. The not-pizza’s are pretty big, so one was enough to split when we ordered hummus, the carrots, and the olives too. We are so lucky to have this incredible Palestinian spot for delicious food, pastries, drinks, and even coffee!!“

“Amazing products! We showed up less than an hour until closing and they were out of only a few items.I was so excited to see Pandan, Mochi, and Ube on the menu! The kouign-amann was SO GOOD and crunchy/sweet/caramel/flaky. So worth the wait. The other patrons were in really nice and friendly!!“

“Baked & Wired received so much attention from various websites and reviews - we had to pop by! Georgetown is known for its cupcakes, and I would like to know why!We visited on a sunny Sunday afternoon. We found the the line extending outside the store but it moved quickly. We used the time to visit its website for pictures and to make a decision (we would find later the staff was lacking warmth!)We ordered Strawberry and Vanilla Satin. While the strawberry was touted to be top seller, we found it was way too sweet. We shaved off the frosting and found a deliciously moist cupcake with a fragrant strawberry taste. Vanilla satin topped with dark chocolate proved to be a perfect pairing.Adequate seating in the cafe with one restroom at the back. Good for afternoon break while exploring Georgetown! Also bought home the granola which has a subtle hint of coconut. It was yummy but the hefty price tag $17.50 will mean not a second purchase…“

“The food was good, but definitely not worth $57 a person on a Thursday night….We ordered four dishes (fermented cabbage toast, arancini, thai fried chicken, and scallop crudo) and had a drink each. Portions were small, even the “entrees.” Will not go back anytime soon for dinner. Our waiter was very nice though.*Came back over a year later for dinner because of an InKind Coupon. The $50 off $50 made the meal more worth it. But still expensive for what youre getting.“

“We walked by this place not really looking to eat but the exterior stopped us in our tracks. We looked in and saw all the pastries and decided to make a quick pit stop. We got a Pistachio Meringue Roulette to share. Mistake. Should have gotten one for myself. The flavors work perfectly together. I also got the Strawberry Matcha to wash it all down and I’m still thinking about it. Wish they would bottle that stuff!“

“This location is a nice gem in Georgetown - I frequent here and treat myself when I want a delicious bake good - this past visit I had a delicious cinnamon bun - it was absolutely delicious and of course a nice cup of hot brew! Perfect location for the cookies as well - never too early or late in the afternoon for nice cup of coffee and a delicious bake good!“

“Stopped by for the first time and got the Normande tart. It was delicious. I also got a lemon cake, but we're saving it for later. The staff was friendly and very helpful. He recommended eating the tart a bit warm to really get the best flavor, and he was right. It tasted amazing. We ate the lemon cake for dessert, and it was very good.I will definitely be back to try the other pastries.“

“I visited the West End location with my husband while visiting DC and had a phenomenal experience. Aside from the food being absolutely to die for, the customer service is really what impressed me. At the register, we were greeted by an older black woman who was so kind to share suggestions and explain the menu to me despite being very busy. It truly made the ordering experience a breeze. My latte was delivered by a younger light skinned black male and I am not sure where he received his customer service training by but by far he’s got it down pat. After delivering my order he told me, “have a nice day, okay?” but it wasn’t just a pleasantry, it truly seemed like a genuine request. I am beyond impressed with the food, ambiance, and customer service provided!“

“Lovely little spot in Georgetown for authentic French baked goods. They use mostly French ingredients to get as close to the “real thing” as I’ve had in DC. Staff is friendly, efficient, and there is a nice patio in the back to enjoy your coffee.“
“Very nice roadside farmer's market! Plenty of parking is available, and they offer fresh squeezed lemonade during warmer months. The market staff are very polite and there is something for everyone there. The fresh cut watermelon is out of this world delicious (and I'm not crazy about watermelon). They have sweets, salty snacks, jams/marmalade, meat/poultry, sauces/seasonings, drinks and cheese. Prices are pretty in-line for a market, so a little higher than a Target or Wal-Mart, but the experience shopping at Miller Farms is very nice.Highly recommend if you're in the area!“

“Cookies are amazzzzzing. I love getting a box of 6 and trying them out. I cut pieces and my whole family tries them. I honestly don't think there is a cookie I didn't like. I may not have preferred the flavor but never down right nasty lol. I only gave 3 stars because it's not really a sit down place and I can't speak for all locations but the one I normally got to in VA is always clean. I'll get photos next time. I eat them so fast I don't get the chance lol. ,?“

“Chocolate pistachio croissant - 5 stars. so good and will be returning for this. Any place that has pistachio pastries is a place for me. Morning bun - very flavorful (cardamom & lemon) but a bit too dry for me. 3 stars Espresso & tonic - I did not like this at all, and will definitely get a safer drink option next time. There was a line at 130pm which I was surprised about, but it moved very quickly and we had no trouble finding a seat. Cute place, will be returning!“

But I'm not surprised, since the food they make is incredible. The sandwiches left me speechless, to say they were good is a huge understatement. The hot chocolate they serve was also delicious. “This place is a neighborhood classic. They keep the prices low (by Arlington standards) and the decor is awesome "mom's kitchen throwback". May it never, never change. I don't love everything they make, but since they make about 87,000 different things, you can find something. Their emphasis is old style German baking with Christian and Jewish calendar seasonal flourishes. This is, for instance, the first place I ever had a "hot cross bun"-- like in the children's poems. (They had them for Easter). And they have a great sandwich bar where I always get egg salad. The quiches are good too. They have coffee and real German sausages that look delicious too. And a nice seating area in front of a huge window. There's always room. So basically, you could spend all day here eating, drinking coffee, reading, looking out the window, and planning your next meal. That would be a great day. (PS: parking is annoying but do-able)“

“I love Pasha Castle! All of the treats are delightful. The staff was very helpful, and we were able to taste test some things to help make our decision- which wasn’t easy with some many delicious options. The Pasha Special is to die for, and the Turkish Delight options make me feel at home. The only downside to this place is that there are limited seating options, and the atmosphere and design are very minimalistic for those who might want to eat there treats while here instead of taking them to-go.“

“The selection is limited, but their breads are incredible. The cranberry walnut bread is the same bread found at le diplomate. My favorite bread is the black sesame harissa. Expect to wait in line. Only about three people fit in the store at a time, but it’s worth it.“

“This place is dangerously close to our place and my partner and I are obsessed. The raspberry and apricot cakes are unbelievably good--and I'm not even a fruity dessert gal. The chocolate cake is the best in DC and I'm dying to try the coconut almond one they have, but it's only for special order. Can't wait for the next occasion! Also, the woman who is usually behind the counter is always patient with me as I struggle to make my mind up about which slice to order every time! I <3 Sharbat!!“

“I am visiting NOVA to house-sit for a friend while she’s on vacation, and needed a coffee ship while I’m here. I wanted to avoid the chains and go local. So I tried this one from a google search. INCREDIBLE. It’s so good and the bankers items are delicious. I have gone everyday since being here. They are very friendly and the line is long but moves very quickly. It’s just one of those fun little local things you have to try. I am hoping to move to DC in the next several months, and have this on my list of places to keep in my phone. 10/10!“

“Fantastic addition to the neighborhood! Everything I’ve tried so far has been good (mini pain au Chocolat, quiche, various pastries) if not great (buche de Noel, macarons, baguette sandwiches). The service is friendly, competent and efficient.I only wish they would use reusable dishes, mugs, and cutlery for dine in orders. Not only is it better for the planet and people, but it’s a better dining experience. They do allow for bring your own mug though, which I appreciate and use.“

“I got the chocolate croissant, and was really surprised when I realized it was a whole wheat croissant. The first whole wheat croissant I've ever had, and it really adds a nice nutty flavor to the croissant. The texture of the inside is also a bit chewier than your average croissant, with a lovely crisp on the outside. I just wish there was a bit more chocolate, but the croissant itself was wonderful, and I'm super glad I got to try the whole wheat. I also got a cortado, which was just ok. This is definitely a bakery first, so would highly recommend stopping by and grabbing some of the pastries!“

“Highly recommend! Sweet Pia is a local baker in Alexandria. Sometimes I get overwhelmed placing an order, but not with her system. The cake and cookie forms are both straight forward and thorough. She’s very responsive and gets back to you within 2-3 days (as mentioned on the forms). My experience was wonderful from start to finish. I had a last minute change in my schedule that caused a conflict with my original pick up date. I immediately reached out to her explaining my situation. She was friendly, understanding and flexible. My niece’s 8th birthday party was under the sea themed. I ordered the medium sized lemon raspberry cake flavor, vanilla buttercream and raspberry curd filling along with a dozen regular sized and mini sized vanilla-almond cookies. The cake was moist, firm and the perfect combination of sweet and tart. The cookies were whimsical to look at, they were absolutely delicious. The hint of vanilla-almond flavor made it even more tasty than the everyday sugar cookie. Also, the cookie was baked to perfection. It wasn't crumbly or overly crispy. It had an amazing consistency that seemed to almost want to melt in your mouth. Everything was beautifully decorated!“

“I was in the mood for something sweet while in the area and heard about Moltn Cookies. I'm not that familiar with the area but it was easy to find the shopping center and there was PLENTY of parking. It shares a space with a catering company so make sure to look for the sign outside to ensure you're at the correct place. There is nothing at all spectacular about the inside of this establishment. It doesn't even look like they would sell cookies. I was greeted pretty much right away and informed that because cookies are made to order, there would be a 10-15 minute wait. My one piece of advice is to order ahead if you can because you'll end up ordering online anyway from their QR code. I ordered three cookies (please don't ask why I ordered an odd amount): chocolate chip, M&M, and sugar. They all tasted great and I wish I would've ordered more ...for later of course. I would definitely return.“

“A solid baked goods shop. Great customer service. They had three section:outdoor seating area, indoor seating and your typical order and lay set up. My experience at the spot was brief. I order a bagel with cream and cheese. They just have one option for cream cheese( original), no option for toasted, and you have to prepare it in your own( spread the cream cheese). The place looked pretty busy for a Friday mid-morning. I may come here again to try their other selection besides the pastries.“

“Really great food - they have really yummy breakfast sandwiches which are always hot off the panini press. They have just really great baked goods too, beautiful cakes and cupcakes and then also traditional bakery items like croissants, cookies, etc - which are all insanely delicious. I think I've tried about everything from Buzz at this point and can say the food and coffee is fantastic. It's also a really great work environment so I come here to work from my laptop pretty often. The tables in the back facing the entrance are great - there is great lighting there for zoom meetings and it's never too loud in there.“

“Ordered a King Cake for Mardi Gras from MB Bakery and I wish I could leave a 5-star review. The bakery staff were lovely. Excellent customer service, very responsive to emails, friendly and courteous when I came by for pickup. The cake itself, however, was a disappointment. It was very dry, dense, and chewy, nearly stale, like something from a box in a supermarket, not fresh from a bakery. Perhaps I'll give them another try one day, because they did seem like a very good operation, and maybe they're better when it's not a peak-rush occasion like Fat Tuesday and Valentine's overlapping.“

“To start the customer service was very good and personable. I visited the food truck version of the business. Wasn't sure if they were open because the window was closed, but once I approached I was greeted with a smile and great conversation. The female owner gave me great descriptions of everything I asked about and made recommendations based on my tastes*, not the cost ??. When I decided on items from both premiumAnd basic menu, owner adjusted the prices. I would have paid the higher price, but her adjustment will take me back to spend more. That part. In the end I purchased 4 flavors: oreo vanilla and chocolate, sweet potato, and carrot. The fam enjoys both oreo versions, vanilla more so because it is chocolaty. I thoroughly enjoyed the sweet potato as it was topped with a medium sized dolup of frosting (I prefer this to being coated), and it was just sweet enough. Not overwhelmingly so and a good size as well. The carror cake same topping, and also not to sweet. I also likes the carrot cake one because I can see carrot. Lastly, while preparing my container she used a fresh set of gloves and dressed the oreo cupcakes with syrup to make them more asthetically pleasing (kids eyes popped out ?). Absolutely plan to go to the location on the 301. My only recommendation is to show more in the truck window and have business cards on deck because we want to do business with you Queen. Thanks.“

“I know what you're thinking: this is a a coffee bar located in the lobby of an apartment building. It can't be that great, can it? Well, you would be wrong. This is my neighborhood coffee spot and I have been here so many times I've lost count. The coffee you get here is consistently well made. I haven't had everything on the menu, but the breakfast items (pastries and made-to-order dishes) are top notch. The funfetti cookie and classic breakfast sandwich deserve special mention. The front of house staff are incredibly nice and usually down to chat as much or as little as you'd like as they make your drink. Even better, this is now one of the first locally owned and operated coffee shops in the DC area where the workers have come together to bargain and set standards for their working conditions with management. It's well known that union-made coffee inherently tastes better because you know that baristas have power and a voice when management inevitably starts to cut corners and prioritize the profits of their budding coffee empire over the health and safety of their employees. (I don't know the owners, I just know how incentives work.) So sip in solidarity, my friends! If the quality declines here it'll be because management has decided to cultivate a hostile work environment to try and undermine the solidarity and hope it's employees have worked so hard to build.“

“We literally just flew back from New Orleans, and immediately longing NOLA's cuisine. We drove all the way from Baltimore in a rainstorm because of the crazed reviews. The reviewers stated that you MUST try the spiced cider, biscuit breakfast sandwich, deviled eggs, and the king cake. I opted for the biscuit breakfast sandwich, spicy potatoes, and spiced apple cider. WOW, just wow--the biscuit breakfast sammy was celestial. I wish I would have ordered two. Clean unisex bathrooms. If you plan to order beignets, don't wear black or dark clothing. Service is only at the counter due to the order grab and sit system. Self-bus dining style. Easy parking across the street which if you come on the weekends, after you eat or grab coffee at Bayou, you can skip over to the Arlington Farmer's Market.“

Everything was fantastic. The portions were generous, the tortillas were made in house and delicious, and the steak was well seasoned and cooked perfectly. All together, it was about $20 which was a bargain for the quantity and quality. Our waitress was super sweet and the atmosphere is great. I will be coming back.
