“Music was blaringly loud and it was difficult to converse with my friends, however that doesnt hold a candle to everything that this restaurant does right. The food was absolutely phenomenal and everyone in my party was extremely happy with their meal. The portions are very reasonable, and the prices are too. I didnt think you could get such inexpensive prices around this area, and for the quantity and quality of the food, I cannot recommend this place enough. Easy 5 stars, I will be returning, with more people.“

“I can’t recommend this place enough, great local spot! I came here and had the best Pupusas I’ve ever had—perfectly cooked, packed with flavor, and incredibly satisfying. They were so good, I’m still thinking about them!

The spicy margaritas were another highlight—balanced heat with a great kick, and the pitchers are such a good deal! Perfect for sharing with friends.

“Bad service. I waited over 30 minutes for the cashier to treat me poorly. I never received my food and ended up being treated poorly. It was Saturday, April 14, 2025, at 1:30 p.m. The cashier was a woman. I hope she changes her treatment of customers.“

“Okay, let me tell you about Gloria's Restaurant! I had the Chicken Quesadilla and Horchata, and seriously, it was amazing. Like, every bite was just right. I know it's a little pricier, but trust me, you won't regret it. The service was super fast, and everyone was so nice. If you want a delicious Hispanic meal in DC, go to Gloria's!

“I had never been there before, and I just needed to go to the bathroom. I looked at the menu and ordered two burritos. I then left to go transact some business, left, and come back to get my order. The people were very nice and had my order ready when I returned. The bag they gave we was very big. I did eat there. When I got home there were two containers in the bag, and the burritos were so big it took me two days to eat them. The burritos were very good. I they added cucumber, and hit sauce and a green sauce I did recognize, but didn't eat. If I'm in the neighborhood in the future, I will stop by and order the same thing. The burritos were $12.00 each. It was a little pricey, but very good.“

Plus, there’s plenty of parking right behind the building, so it’s easy to get in and out. It is also within walking distance from many apartments and hotels. I got 5 tacos with rice and beans for myself and one other person, and we had a ton leftover. And it was only $22! I’d love to go back and try some of the sopas. I got my order for takeaway, but there’s a few tables inside as well. Will definitely be returning to this local, family spot :)“

I’ve always had a hard time finding a place that offers pupusas made out of rice flour but this place does and they make the best pupusas at a very reasonable price. The food was great, I'm originally from El Salvador and I can guarantee that this is the closest match when it comes to flavor and environment.

Yaneth was our server for me and my family, she is doing a great job, super kind and helpful, and I hope I can come back and enjoy this food one more time.
Pupusas are great, nuegados, yuca con chicharrón as well, and prices are not crazy high at all.

If you are around Northern Virginia.
You MUST come and try this amazing place!

“Great little place. The lomo saltado was good but the black beans that come with it are fantastic. Knowing a little Spanish definitely helped when ordering but I'm sure you'd be fine without it. Everyone there (staff and other customers) were extremely nice and even helped when my Spanish failed. We will definitely add this to our list of places to come back to.“
