“This is a convenient spot for Thai takeout. We generally like the food, but it’s VERY inconsistent. The pad Thai is ok, but sometimes incredibly sweet. I wouldn’t say that this tastes like authentic Thai food (we’ve been all over Thailand), but it’s good in a pinch. Never dined in since the dining room is a bit odd.“

“We had an early dinner before attending a performance at the Ford’s Theater. We made reservations through Open Table and were immediately seated upon arrival. The service was great. Our server recommended several dishes that we loved. There were abundant vegan and vegetarian options. Chilorio de Res tacos were mouthwatering as were the Hongos en Milto ones. In fact, every dish we ordered was delicious. One dish (chilaquiles) never arrived from the kitchen but we were pressed for time so we opted to have it taken off our bill instead of waiting for them to prepare it separately. Dessert, Cafe de Olla, was phenomenal. Pics are only some of the items we tried. Great atmosphere for date night and a milestone birthday celebration. Highly recommend.“

“No other bakery like Seylou. We travel in to the city every weekend to eat here. The staff is so kind and feels like an extension of our family. They’ve taken my child behind the scenes and shown him how grains are killed and bread is baked. I could not ask for a better community and diet staple.“

“I’ve had Indian food all over the country and internationally, and I would say this was the best Indian food I’ve had in my life. Everything was super fresh, flavorful, dynamic without being overly salty or sweet, just delicious and interesting and well balanced. I can’t recommend it enough. The cherry on top is that it’s also super reasonable. Parking is a little dicey in that area but if you look in the residential neighborhoods, you’ll eventually find something. If you can, Uber to it that’s even better.“

The cookies are always so delicious, it is so hard to not order all at the same time.
I often take the classic two-chip chocolate cookies, but I’ve also tried the oatmeal raisin, the chocolate walnut, and the caramel coconut chocolate ones.

They’re all absolutely delicious, and depending on my mood I’ll get different ones.

They have seasonal cookies too, lately it is the carrot cookie. Can’t wait to test it! I’ve also tried the gluten free chocolate walnut cookie, and it is also worth the hype.

The staff is pretty quick, it’s not particularly a seating cafe but it’s a nice little snack at the end of the day :)“

“Taberna del Alabardero Restaurant is stunning in terms of architecture and ambiance—the interior and overall design are truly amazing.

However, the food didn’t quite meet my expectations. While the setting is impressive and makes for a beautiful dining experience, I found the flavors and dishes themselves to be underwhelming compared to the atmosphere.

Overall, it’s worth visiting for the architecture and vibe, but don’t expect the food to wow you as much.“

My husband and son both had milkshakes and burgers and I got the meatloaf. Classic diner menu but really elevated and creative. The man who picked up the phone was so accommodating and made sure that the customized message had the correct spelling of my name. When the cake was picked up, the lady was extremely lovely and kind. 10/10 would recommend and will be buying another birthday cake (very soon) from this bakery. I have also visited this bakery before to buy a n emergency cake and they have lots in the display case available. Perfect, delicious cakes. The one I got (raspberry chocolate mouse) was semi sweet and light, good for adults.“
