“I’m just a visitor so it’s my huge loss for only eating at this place for once. If it’s in my city I’ll come here literally every day. The food is so good and reasonable price, $25 per person you will feed yourself so well. The keprow is spicy but so so delicious, and the Tum Yum soup is also great as long as you can handle a little bit spicy. So so good. Just come and eat“

“Friends and I ate here for dinner one day and the food and service was amazing! If you get Santiago as a server you are in luck! He is fantastic and very attentive. Definitely has great service, amazing food, and great mango sticky rice!!!!! I would 10/10 recommend!“

“WOW! I live in DC and have tried basically every Thai place in DC but rarely make it to VA. Thai is some of my favorite food. My main complaint with most DC places is that the food is NOT spicy enough. Not the case here! I got the drunken noodles tonight and hands down they were the spiciest best I've had in the area! Love this place! New favorite Thai spot in the DMV! I'll be back and VERY SOON! THANK YOU FOR MAKING THAI FOOD SPICY AS IT SHOULD BE!“

“I’m going to post the same review I gave on Yelp - this is a 5 Star place! After a day in DC, my family decided to try Soul Thai on our way home. What a terrific Experience. The staff were friendly and helpful. The food was some of the best Thai we have ever had. The Pad Thai was amazing. The Hang Over Noodles (Drunken Noodles) was exceptional. And the red curry was by far the best I’ve had in the area. The ambiance was quite pleasant as well. Initially we were sat in an area that was a little noisy for our taste, but they graciously moved us to a much quieter section. The owner, Nancy came over after our meal and was very appreciative of our comments on the meal. She shared with us that she personally picks the freshest ingredients she can find to ensure the quality of the food. I would highly recommend Soul Thai to everyone. We will be coming back soon. THANK YOU, Nancy!!!!“

“We are visiting from Tennessee and wanted authentic Thai cuisine. We found it at Sampannee!!! The best Thai meal I have ever eaten. The cocktails were delicious and the food was perfection! Very friendly kitchen and the waitress was very friendly. I’ll be dreaming of Sampannee for many months! So, so good!!“

“We recently tried Sala Thai at Park Kennedy and had a great experience. The service was very friendly and welcoming, and the food was excellent. The kapow had a perfect spice level and was full of flavor. We also really enjoyed the crab rangoons and wontons, both were very good. The grilled beef was especially delicious: incredibly tender, flavorful, and paired with a great sauce. We’ll definitely be back.“

“Great experience. The food and friendly atmosphere reminded us of our time in Thailand. We tried several dishes, all of which came out right. Service was attentive, and the the restaurant was tidy, with an overall neighborhood feel. Passing through the area the next day, we decided to stop in again, and left equally satisfied. Seemed to be vouched for by local patrons. We observed out-of-state visitors enjoying the hospitality; commenting positively and engaging with staff between the comings and goings by a steady flow of pick order patrons. The location and ample parking made coming and going a breeze each time. We'll be back.“

“This is a solid place and a gem in Rockville & MoCo as they are the first restaurant to serve Laotian food. Their fried fish tofu is my go to app: it is delicately made and on point. Had their Lao khao soi for the first time and the freshness and quality of spare ribs and minced pork are top notch. Service can be slow as there is typically only one server working at lunch and I feel that they should have one more server as service can be slow at times. A huge bonus that they are on the AA dining program.“

“I want to personally thank the wonderful staff at this restaurant! I was quite ill and not only to take give me medicine with. They drove me to the store so that I could get medicine and clean up. “A large group of us enjoyed our dinner here on a midweek early evening. Everyone enjoyed their food selection and the noise level was low enough that all at the table could hear each other speak. The dishes were tasty without being overly hot spicy. Sufficient serving staff made getting drinks and checks relatively quick, which was extraordinary when dining as part of a large group.“

Slow-cooked beef in Massaman curry with potatoes, onions, and peanuts); it was a warm, nourishing comfort curry. Alongside the Baa Mee (
egg noodle, five spice roasted chicken, bok-choy, fried garlic,
peanuts, spring onion, and cilantro), it was excellent combination of flavorful noodles and a rich creamy curry. Service was excellent and the space was modern and vibrant. Acoustics were poor however, as the amplified din made it very difficult to carry on a conversation. Really the only note for the restaurant.“

“After a friend recommended Buzz Thai Eatery, I’ve eaten from there several times. The staff are always friendly, courteous and extremely patient whenever I have questions about items on the menu. The food portions are generous and the flavors are fantastic! I highly recommend Buzz Thai Eatery, especially their buuz & khuushuur (they’re my favorite so far.) I tried a couple (new to me) items today, sticky rice with mango, California rolls & shrimp tempura maki rolls - they were all delicious. I’m looking forward to trying other items on future trips!“

“Neighborhood gem! I have been going here for years and still find it to be some of the best thai food in the area. So many anazing dishes it is hard to pick- really recommend the green curry tofu, the drunken noodles, the spicy eggplant, the pinapple thai fried rice, the list goes on! I will always come back here- nice for carry out or eating in. Great, friendly staff too.“
