“I received top tier service today at the sardis on branch ave. I ordered my food on line and planned to walk in grab it and leave because I was tired. The restaurant was very clean, so after grabbing my food I decided to sit down and eat. Each staff member I encountered today went above and beyond the call of duty. Maybelline and Gary just made a recurring customer of me. The food was delicious and the service was even better!“

“Our son lives in the area and we have been here 4-5 since January ( every time we visit) The owners are wonderful and the staff very attentive The fish taco appetizer is wonderful ( can be enough for an entree if not wanted a big meal) I’ve had many of the entrees and never a bad meal . “First time to this area and figured we would try Andy’s. The three of us each had the 2 slices and a drink combo. The pizza was pretty good and had a lot of flavor. Enjoyed the ambiance of the establishment and the Western Market in general. However, they have a gnat problem as we continually had to wave them away from our table and food. Other than that was a good experience.“

“I was there for the opening day and it was wonderful. The staff are so friendly and had huge smiles on their faces. The line moved quickly and the food was delicious and made exactly to order. “This place was recommended and I am so glad we tried it. Healthy food. So many options. I ordered the Jerk Mango Salad. I didn’t change a thing and wouldn’t. Perfect kick without being too spicy. Mango salsa was the best I’ve had. We also ordered the BBQ bowl. I wouldn’t change a thing in it. Try the Red Rice. It’s really good. Staff was quick, explained the menu and ordering process and also offered a taste of you weren’t sure you’d like something. 10/10. I’ll be back again.“

“Said, I wanted to circle back and let you know that without a doubt, the food, and the entire dining experience at La Bettola Italiano was far and away the best we had on our trip to DC. I cannot thank you enough for setting it all up and for working so closely with them to sculpt the menu, arrange for the upstairs and deliver the hot and delicious food so swiftly upon our arrival – our pre-order menu worked perfectly, and you and your wait staff went above and beyond to be so accommodating. My teachers were stunned at the quality of the food and the ambiance and said it was their top ranked choice of all the places we ate. I am uncertain what the school’s plans are for next year, but if I or the school returns to the DC/VA area, I will certainly call upon you and return to La Bettola. “First time at Honey Grow and I was very pleased with the service I received. I ordered the red coconut curry with chicken and enjoyed the flavor and portion size. I did not like the rice noodles because they were too hard and wish I ordered the rice or egg noodles. However, one young lady who worked there who also helped me order at kiosk also offered to exchange my order. I will definitely be going back there to try something else.“

“First impression, fancy place yet accepting of my Washington Capitals hoodie. I thought for sure I was gonna get calamari but the waitress sweet talked me into getting chicken parmigiana. And wow am I glad she did. It’s like a pizza but with a chicken tender crust. Great work! And right when I didn’t think they could do any better, I got a free cookie!!! That is service.“

“On a bit of a health kick and randomly popped in looking for (obviously) a salad and was warmly greeted by Moussa. It was a down time and there was one customer ahead of me being helped by the team member behind the line. Moussa paused whatever work he was doing on his laptop and jumped behind the line to help me out, making a couple of recommendations and helping me navigate the extensive menu. We chatted a bit as he built my salad and I discovered he was actually the manager. The food, service, and atmosphere were all 10/10. Moussa did a fantastic job making sure my first experience at Just Salad was a great one, and I would highly recommend this spot to anyone.“

“I love Chopt Salad, and I come to this location at least once a week. The ingredients are always so fresh. What I am disappointed in is the service after 3pm. I walk in at 545pm and only 2 people ahead of me, and 4 gentleman behind the counter. Grant it they are cleaning up, but ignoring customers, and leave one gentleman to pack salads, chop, and ring customers is unacceptable. Bad customer service will definitely have me going next door to roti.“

“I had one of the best burgers of my life here. And a pretty good drink, too. Service was great, as well. Not really a complaint, but it was nearing sunset and was very dark, so I had to use the candle on the table to read the menu, since I'm of a certain age. I suppose that actually added to the ambience, though. I'm glad we happened upon it as we left our hotel looking for a spot for dinner.“

“This is a tidy little cafe with a nice selection of healthy eats. I had a falafel wrap with a side of spinach and potatoes and a green smoothie. They have a wide range of options, from their popular chicken shawarma wrap to chickpea or salmon salads, and fresh pressed juices. What stood out to me was the fantastic service. The owner made great suggestions based on my dietary restrictions. It’s a great place to unwind, and a welcome spot im the neighborhood.“

“love chop’t but at a loss on the variances of sweet potato cooking. while it is my opinion that sweet potatoes are not a veg that should have a bite, but here to educated! if my expectation or grasp is far from norm. totally get why the brussels or carrots in my bowl have bite. but have spent most of my lunch separating the sweets out of fork range. would appreciate other veg options with same or close nutrition deets available in consistent cooked or prepped form.“

“We are visiting from Tennessee and wanted authentic Thai cuisine. We found it at Sampannee!!! The best Thai meal I have ever eaten. The cocktails were delicious and the food was perfection! “This past Thursday (4/25), I went to the restaurant to use my birthday rewards to purchase a meal. Unfortunately, the link to retrieve my reward was not working. However, the cashier was nice enough to notify the manager and the manager gave me a discount after I showed him my email with the rewards information. This showed that the cashier and manager went above and beyond to provide exceptional customer services. And the meal, as always, was great!!!!“

“My boyfriend and I were visiting from Texas. Found Alfreda’s online and came for dinner. It was absolutely amazing and our favorite meal of our trip. I had the blueberry St. Germain spritz and the passion fruit spritz— both great. And we shared the Caesar salad and the Alfreda pizza add basil. It was definitely up there, if not was, our favorite pizza we’ve ever had. Highly recommend the Alfreda sauce on the side, like a dilly ranch with a bit of sweetness. I highly recommend and so glad we found it!“

“The food is authentic and good quality. We enjoy the imported beers and menu items that aren’t easy to find in the states. The chef’s special was a great value. We had an appetizer, entrees, beers, coffee and shared a dessert for two people for under $120+ tip. The atmosphere does feel like you’re stepping into “old Europe” which we loved. “This was my first visit to The Strand DC for Brunch In Motion hosted by DesFit & Dance ( the last Sunday of each month and it was great. I grew up in this neighborhood and went to HD Woodson and didn't even know it was there. I love the energy and beauty it brings to Nannie Helen Burroughs Avenue. Although I didn't have brunch my family did and they enjoyed it. It was clean, great design and the GM Tre made sure we were well taken care of.“

“Omg my shrimp pad Thai was SOOOO GOOD!!! The last time I had a Thai meal this good was in Thailand!! Eveything is so authentic! I also ordered the mango sticky rice to go ans haven’t tried it yet but I know it’s gonna be good.
