“This was my first time visiting Kenny’s Kale and it was just okay to me. I had the UnCraba Kale with the Thee VanKale flavor. The crab meat was backfin meat not lump. It was too much kale in comparison to the amount of crab meat that was on the salad.For the cost it should have definitely been more. I was able to take a third of the kale and place it in the oven to make kale chips which came out great! As I reached near the bottom of the bowl it was a lot of oil and seasoning. Now the crab meat was full of flavor!The service was on point as soon as the young lady finished up the order on the phone, she greeted me, asked if this was my first visit and explained the menu. The space is cozy and inviting, but small. They do have a bar for you to grab a spirit while you wait for your order.I probably would not return on my own, but would definitely take the offer should someone be ordering from here and ask if I would like anything.“

“Sardi's NEVER FAILS! I ordered the Phil's lamb chops with garlic brocolli, rice and plantains...OMG .there was an entire party in my mouth. It was well seasoned , cooked just right , healthy and delicious.Vegetarian options: If you want an all vegetable platter without meat, you can absolutely order it that way .“

“I'd come back for a slice. Located inside the Western Market on/near GW University. A little hard to find, yelp map doesn't match actual location (used google maps instead). Ordered a half margarita half pepperoni pie. Was hungry so ordered a slice of margarita pizza while we waited. The slice was awesome!!! The crust was crispy airy and delicious. Disappointed a little with the crust on the whole pie... it wasn't crispy at all... a little chewy. Tasted like two completely different pizza spots. Service was friendly. There was room for small or medium sized groups with seating in the back or out in the market place walk way. They had a large selection of drinks including beer/wine/etc.“

“My hubby and I have been to Carlyle twice. Both times we shared the Judith Point calamari with the corn salsa. Calamari preparation can range from horribly rubbery and tasteless, to just “meh,” or to what Carlyle has done with it - fried to perfection, with complementary flavors in the sauces and corn salsa- for the win!I ordered the smoked salmon on my first visit two years ago, and because it was so tastefully prepared, I couldn’t bring myself to try another dish. It is just delicious.Hubby ordered crab cakes, along with coleslaw and shoestring fries. Crab cakes were meaty and flavorful. Sides were good.Atmosphere and service are good. The thai iced tea is a great option for n/a. I have tried the red curry ramen (both non and veg and both are fantastic), the kaarage ramen, and gin ramen are wonderful too. The flavors are just right and all the dishes I have tried are not too heavy (well balanced.) The service whether its at the table or the bar is exceptional. I attended an open mic night for poetry a while back and it was great! There are double front doors and no button to open them so it may be difficult for electric chairs and larger chairs. The back event space can be cramped but I was able to be seated comfortably. Though I could see if being tricky trying to leave for a bathroom break once folks pack in. There are stairs to access the stage so that would be a big barrier for open mic nights“

We were very pleased to have chosen the Ottoman taverna. The food was phenomenal. The service was impeccable and I would recommend this to anybody looking for a dining experience in Washington, DC. “I've been going to Sundevich for years. Tasty sandwiches that seem to be pricy but they are fairly big. Great for sharing or eating alone. My favorite is the Seoul sandwich but the Athens sandwich with lamb is also delicious. The bread is always soft and the toppings are fresh. It's a casual and chill place to eat during lunch. Service has always been great for me and I've never waited too long.“

“Idk how I went so long having never tried Jets! I attended a football watch party at a friends house (they are from Detroit) and they ordered jets. One slice in and I knew I'd be a forever customer! Sure enough 2 weeks later I found myself in Jets picking up an order placed online. This is the BEST pizza in the area! It's thick and made with high quality ingredients! I will say the night I stopped in the physical shop it was packed! It was a Friday night, and the line extended down the entire shop and out into the parking lot. Even for those of us who had placed an order ahead of time they were running slightly behind getting those orders out so there was a lot of standing around. However, upon arrival, I simply told them I was there to pick up my order and they started working on it right away so that I could grab it quick-ish and head out. I was there for about 10 minutes? Note if you are placing an order online, be advised that the wait will be probably closer to 45 minutes and there's no need to come early because the pizza is not ready LOL. But trust me it's worth the wait and by the amount of customers there I can say that others agree.“

“Finally visited this sub shop. Had read about it on Eatery. Glad I went. I got the Teamster Italian Cold Cuts) and the Never Been Cheddar (Roast Beef). I also ordered 2 whole deli pickles. The Teamster reminded me of the subs I used to get at the Italian Store in Arlington. Wonderful. Eat it for lunch. The Roast Beef I will save for dinner. The large pickle was perfect. I will return. They are a bit pricey but I think they are worth it. The only thing missing were napkins.“

“Yum!! Stopped in Friday afternoon and got the Korean Fried Chicken bowl with the garlic sauce and rice and it was delicious! Even the coleslaw it came with was good (and I'm not someone who usually likes coleslaw). Chicken was tender and flavorful while the rice was decent, really enjoyed the sauce that seeped into the rice from the chicken. The coleslaw is a mayo base and almost had a sweetness to it too. Service was good and speedy. You order at the counter and you have to watch the number ticker at the front for your number as they don't really call out your number. There are tables inside as well as outside and the overall establishment was clean.“

“$1 coffee is the best thing I’ve ever seen! Yes, you can get an 8oz cup of coffee for only $1. That means you can get 40 ounces of coffee here for the same price as a 12oz cup from Starbucks! “I feel that barbecue is subjective and kind of depends on your personal preference if you like it or not. My idea of good BBQ may not be yours. That being said... I LOVED this place. My brothers and I were in the area and one has been craving BBQ something fierce. Walking in, the place smells like heaven. We probably ordered way more than we should have because if we weren't hungry before, we definitely were when we smelled how good it smells here. We all ordered the pulled chicken sandwich, soda, cornbread and we each ordered different sides: baked beans and corn pudding, yucca fries and fried okra, and onion rings and macaroni and cheese. We also had a side of coleslaw to share since BBQ sandwich + coleslaw = perfection. You order at the counter, stop to gawk at the biggest selection of hot sauces I have ever seen for sale, grab your plastic ware and fountain soda, debate if you want pickled jalapeños, pickled onions, hot pickles, (hot pickles were AWESOME!!!!!) and then have a seat. They brought us the food pretty quickly and we dug in. We found their original BBQ sauce, found on the counter in a giant cauldron thing, a little too sweet and tomato-y for our likings (although I did enjoy digging the sweet marinated onions out of my cup of sauce, because those were great with the pickled onions and hot pickles), but they had a smoky and sweet one on the tables that we really liked. The onion rings were so crispy on the outside and soft on the inside and tasted amazing. I dipped one in his macaroni cheese and that tasted pretty darn good too. The fried okra is a huge portion and is also perfectly fried. The yucca fries were also wonderfully crisp on the outside and soft on the inside and not at all greasy. The baked beans are a little savory and a lot sweet. The corn pudding is very soft and fluffy and tastes like a hush puppy without the hard exterior. The coleslaw is delicious. They add super crisp peas and carrots to the normal cabbage. More places should get on this because it adds sweetness and texture and it is fantastic!!!!! The cornbread is amazing! I have no idea how they make it so fluffy and moist but WOW. I may carry honey in my handbag in case there is ever cornbread and I have never been so happy about my weird tendencies because YES!!!!!!! The pulled chicken was juicy and tender and smoky and so good. The buns they use are perfect for standing up to the saucy goodness. We really wanted to try some of their pies and banana pudding, but we couldn't eat another bite by the time we left. The portions were very generous, you couldn't even close the bun around all of the chicken without it jumping ship. You definitely need a fork to scoop up all your fallen chicken, which is also how I like my BBQ... I really wish we lived closer to this place because it was delicious and I would probably feign being too tired to cook dinner at least once a week so we could come here.“

Actually, I wonder if someone has calculated the number of possible bowl combination. This location is pretty clean with a decent amount of seating for small parties (2-3 people). Also, thought the workers at this location were EXTREMELY friendly and polite. While I wouldn't go out of my way to eat at a BIBIBOP, I definitely would revisit this location if I'm in the mood for a rice and noodle bowl and in the area (e.g., within 4-8 blocks of this location).“

Not here, the curry here has a nice balance of spiciness and has a lot of chicken. The mango in the sticky rice tasted like it was picked from the garden of Eden. This is my new favorite spot. The ambiance in this place is nice and elegant and there is also a bar where you can watch sports. The food here is also very affordable. I don't have photos of the curry and spring rolls because I ate them too fast. HIGHLY recommend this place.“
