“I almost overlooked this place and I'm SO glad I didn't! We had the Brandy Lobster, Calamari, Seared Scallops, and Steak Tips. Every single dish was perfectly cooked and seasoned beautifully. The waiter was kind and attentive, and the cozy atmosphere was perfect for a chilly, rainy day. I would absolutely come back to try some of the other dishes!“

This is one of my families favorite restaurants in the area. We went out to dinner last night and Lindsey was our waitress... she was awesome. The atmosphere is nice - very cozy. The food was amazing! The other night - I started with a house salad, moved on to a haddock dish perfectly cooked with some parmesan with broccoli and mashed potato as sides. It was perfection! Then I finished with an apple tart and some ice cream... it couldn't have been any better!“

“This is one of our favorite spots. We go back every trip. The view is A+. Nothing compares to sitting out on the deck, watching the boats while enjoying a drink.
The food is always great. The clam chowder is one of the bests on BBH. The bang bang shrimp and the Caesar with blackened haddock. Everything is fresh and consistently delicious.
What makes it even better is the people. Chloe, Katy and Lily are the BEST and make you feel right at home every single time. They’re a huge part of why we keep coming back.

“The vibe here is welcoming, real, and genuine. The food and drinks are top notch along with the service. And it all begins with the owners, Zoli and Sarah, who are kind and honest as the day is long. We can’t speak highly enough of them, their crew and this establishment. “Nice friendly place. We stopped for dinner on Saturday night. Everything was lovely and tasty and met some nice people. Just realized today Thursday that I may have left a bag there realized today that I might have left a bag there. Called and sure enough they had found it in parking lot. “My wife and I were at the lounge the last 2 nights. Great atmosphere, the bartender was extremely friendly. It was our second trip to Boothbay/Sunset Lounge. Or previous experience was the same. Great place to visit, the Harbor Inn is away from the restaurants, shops and bars, but it is only a footbridge away.
Parking: Stay at the harbor inn, you won't drive again until you are ready to leave. Everything is within walking distance.“

“One star missing because both times I went, the young slim women wait staff put me in a mishapened tiny booth. I am 6 feet tall 275 pounds. They needed to keep the full sized booths for larger parties. I am larger. The booths were less than half full both days. Oh, I did like a more mature waitress called Chris. Watching her be happy was infectious.“

“A beautiful wharf but the food was okay. We spent more money on a lobster roll than I would’ve liked. I ended up getting the lobster stew and it was tasty but nothing special. The lobster roll however did have a ton of meat on it but they didn’t give you the option for butter or mayo like most other places we’ve been to in Maine. Definitely worth it for the view and a nice outside deck.“

“Solid restaurant option while staying at Spruce Point Resort! Not the cheapest in the area, but quality food and attentive service, with amazing views. The bar is such a vibe and seats are extremely comfortable!

“Our first time although we have heard about all the amazingness of Red’s. We cannot rave about this place enough. The owner Debbie is so personable & kind with a huge smile that is contagious! Chef Shannon is a perfect pair to Debbie. Everything on this menu is fresh daily, dips & sauces made on the premises & you won’t find a lobster roll like you will get at Red’s. It’s a true family based establishment 🦞Together this is a MUST visit. There is a continual line & often a wait but it is worth every second in line.“
