“This is becoming my favorite restaurant in the nearby route 1 corridor. I had among other things last night, the calamari appetizer and it was delicious with a spicy and thick jalapeno tomato doing sauce and the tender squid was so lightly battered it almost floated above the plate. The blackened fish tacos were also delicious.“

“My wife and I love the Newcastle Publick House. The people are great and last weekend our son and his wife joined us at NPH to celebrate his birthday. The folks at Newcastle did an awesome job. We had a wonderful evening. Also, our son and daughter in law said they had a fantastic time. Thank you to the great people at NPH for a wonderful evening.“

“The vibe here is welcoming, real, and genuine. The food and drinks are top notch along with the service. And it all begins with the owners, Zoli and Sarah, who are kind and honest as the day is long. We can’t speak highly enough of them, their crew and this establishment. We will come by every time we are in the area.“

“Nice friendly place. We stopped for dinner on Saturday night. Everything was lovely and tasty and met some nice people. Just realized today Thursday that I may have left a bag there realized today that I might have left a bag there. Called and sure enough they had found it in parking lot. Thank you so much Will definitely be back with friends. I had already mentioned it to some friends“

“My wife and I were at the lounge the last 2 nights. Great atmosphere, the bartender was extremely friendly. It was our second trip to Boothbay/Sunset Lounge. Or previous experience was the same. Great place to visit, the Harbor Inn is away from the restaurants, shops and bars, but it is only a footbridge away.
Parking: Stay at the harbor inn, you won't drive again until you are ready to leave. Everything is within walking distance.“

“This is the best restaurant breakfast we have had in some time (and we eat breakfast out often). The coffee is excellent, the biscuits as good as what I make at home and the eggs were done perfectly. We returned the next morning and had the French Toast stuffed with cream cheese and Maine wild blueberries and it also was excellent. The ambiance is pleasantly funky and the service is warm and efficient.“

“The server Wed night was exceptional. And dinner was super!
Thursday night the servers seemed stressed ad fighting for who had our table - our dinner order got taken twice, ad when we told the First server Another had come and taken our order again, well...
Hopefully they worked it out.
The Oysters were top notch clean, fresh!
The Crabcakes, absolutely delicious.
The Grilled Vegetable Sandwich was satisfying and so very tasty, and the salty stag Asian Salmon is our fave meal in town!“

“Was down in the Wiscasset area antiquing & decided to stop in to the Taste of Orient. Usually try to go there whenever we are down in the area. as usual we were very happy with the food, service . it was delicious & even had some to take home. The crab rangoons were delicious. The best we've ever tasted. Would definitely recommend. Will be back again when in the area.“

“We went for lobster rolls and boy did we get lobster. So much lovely fresh lobster. Had we known HOW much, we’d have shared a lobster roll. $50, and could have been shared between 3. Sitting in the sun watching the fish boats come in, heaven. Apparently this is usually served with mayonnaise but we had been warned that the Connecticut version (melted butter) was better, and for us at least it was. Would very happily return!“
