“my boyfriend and I are visiting from boston for new years and chose this as our NYE dinner spot, and it did not disappoint! I honestly wasn’t expecting much out of this place, but my expectations were surpassed. the vibe was really nice with all of the mood lighting, the staff was super friendly, and the food was delicious (& i’m not even huge on seafood). we got the carne asada fries, chipotle chicken, and fish tacos - all of which were so good. only gripe is that I reserved a “lounge” table and was seated at a tiny high top. other than that it was a great experience“

“Ate there this evening celebrating my wife's birthday. Service, food, atmosphere was just amazing! Staff singing while presenting a free lava cake and Ice cream.... AMAZING evening! Highly recommended.“

“This place rocks and I had the best $11 lunch. The puffy avo and shrimp tacos are my favorite. I went early and it wasn’t busy so I was able to get a little solo work lunch in and the server Luis was SO nice and welcoming. I also didn’t realize the have a kids changing table in the bathroom and most places in Portland aren’t kid friendly so I think I’ll come back with my kids soon because I’m already hungry for another taco and a happy upbeat welcoming atmosphere.“

“10/10!!! My husband & I had to take the 1.5 hour drive to Portland for an appoinment. We came across this wonderful place while searching for a delicious lunch. Wonderful, superb authentic food! we tried the house made jalepeno poppers (ginormous & fresh) to start. Husband had the pork chimichanga (pork cooked to perfection) & I had to try the fried green tomato tacos. Blown away by all the flavors! Abby was our awesome server who served up a wonderfully funny sense of humor! Be careful though, she BITES!!! 😂“

“One of the best brunch spots in Portland Maine. And they do dinner!
From the gorgeous velvet booth seating, to the crispy potatoes and churros, the service, food and ambiance is outstanding. Our lovely server Coco and the FOH manager Leah create such a warm and welcoming experience.
Highlights are the horchata (get it half & half with cold brew for caffeine.) The churros are outstanding, potatoes are a must and you can’t go wrong with any of the main dishes.

“Friendly staff. great bar activities such as billiards and darts. A good beer selection. Hmm, I was expecting a big mexican restaurant, but it's really a small bar with a small menu. I had the birria tacos and they were excellent. I would recommend this place for some tacos and some beers and a game of pool after work would be great“
