“A delightful neighborhood gem! Hank has worked very hard on renovating the old Spurwink Country Kitchen into a bright and modern space with a lovely deck and patio. I'd eaten here multiple times for lunch last year and now he's added breakfast. The food is all homemade and excellent. I've enjoyed the prepared foods to go as well. Try the meatballs and kale & arugula pesto on your sammie.“

“My friend told me that I absolutely had to try this spot out. Not only was the view amazing the food was even better. We started off with steamers. The steamers were huge and so tasty. As great as they were the lobster flatbread stole the show. The cheese with the lobster was delicious. It was the right amount of crunch with the cheese and lobster being cooked to perfection. There was lobster in every bite. I highly recommend this spot. A great vacation spot to kick back, relax and enjoy some seafood.“

“We stopped here after my husband a job in Scarborough, and wow… what an incredible surprise. The whole place has that true Maine vibe — cozy, welcoming, and super friendly. Our server Eric was awesome from start to finish. My husband ordered the pork schnitzel and absolutely loved it. I had the butternut squash linguine with prosciutto, roasted squash, arugula, and their homemade crostini bread… incredible. I even saved half so I could enjoy it again another day. Hubby tried two of their 5oz beers (Space Ghost and Santa’s Reinbeer) and enjoyed both. But the show-stealer? The apple crisp cheesecake. 🍎 Hubby took one bite and said, “This is so good it should be outlawed.” And honestly, he wasn’t wrong. It was ridiculous in the best way. We left talking about how we’re glad we live two hours away, because we’d be here every day if we didn’t. Highly recommend checking this place out if you’re in the area. “We went today and all of the food was amazing! We drove two hours. The kids were prompt on cleaning the tables. The people taking orders were very nice. The food came out quickly. Most importantly the food was so good! We will definitely be back!“

“Cowbell Scarborough surpasses expectations every time I visit. The servers are friendly, attentive and polite. The food is 95% of the time correct, and if it’s not correct it is quickly resolved. Accountability is always appreciated and in this restaurant it’s certainly valued by the front of house. If you had a poor experience before, I’d recommend trying again!“

“Dinner at The Chart Room at Black Point Inn was easily one of the highlights of our Maine trip. We started with fresh oysters and warm rolls, followed by a lobster roll and the Black Point Burger with perfectly cooked, crispy fries. We finished with dessert, and judging by the empty plate, I’d say that speaks for itself.

The food was fresh, beautifully prepared, and full of flavor. The burger was cooked exactly as ordered, the lobster roll was packed with sweet lobster meat, and even the bread service stood out. But what truly sets this place apart is the atmosphere. Watching the sun begin to set over the water from the outdoor patio made for an unforgettable dining experience.

The service was friendly, attentive, and never rushed, allowing us to relax and enjoy the evening.

“We just left there after having the fried whole belly clams. Absolutely delicious! It’s the cutest place to hang out and have some great seafood. The staff is friendly too! We had gone to another(big)place in the area the night before and we were very disappointed . Luckily we found the Salty Bay! today! I love the seating out back with the beautiful view and the Tavern on site where they serve drinks is great. Nice set up! We’ll be back!“
