“We held a 50th birthday party for our daughter in the private room last Saturday evening. The service and the food was extraordinary. We had 50 attendees that included old and not so old. The banquet items were outstanding and the chef did a marvelous job of preparation and presentation. Passed appetizers were a hit with everyone. (I particularly liked the crab cakes) Sheila, Yen, Rex, and Kat provided the beverage service and passed the appetizers and drink orders with smiles and efficiency. While we didn't see much of the kitchen staff, Gil, Emeka, Chaona, and Aaron provided culinary treats that had all the attendees marveling at the variety and taste. And most helpful were Joanna and Paul, the proprietors. Thank you Common Pub for a most memorable evening and event!“

“Fantastic beer coming out of the east side of the state! Watch out west side breweries. Great beer selection wirh brews that a consistent and varied. The IPAs are tasty and hoppy while the porters are robust and warming in the cooler months. Big, big fan of Elephant Juice and Sweater Weather - this combination covers my whole year. The brewery is a nice space, funky and welcoming. The staff are helpful and knowledgeable, can't go wrong here.“

“We started off with the chicken wings they wer good. The chilli and lime shrimp was good. It does have some spice. Portion could be bigger. Could have a couple more shrimp or a little more rice. The burger was good. Squash was good plamento cheese does have some spice but I do like spice. Over all the flavor of everything was good.“

“Clean, welcoming and cold beer. You could call it a hole in the wall, but it's more than that when you step inside. Your welcomed by everyone in the bar and you'll definitely feel at home after just a few minutes...few places like this place.“

Came here on a Monday (when they'd opened specifically for an LFC match) and was blown away by the hospitality - Irish coffees and HT pizza anyone? - and the kindness shown to me by Jet (hope I've spelled tha right) who was running the place and assorted legends partaking in the match / beer / whisky. They even gave me a Detroit LFC supporters scarf which I'll be sure to take to Anfield when I next go. Super fun and lovely people - thank you!“

“So this was my first time there with my friend we sat at the bar as it was busy. Once sat we was greeted as normal order as normal but the issue started when I asked for no ice in my oj! Instead of getting a new fresh glass she used a liquor strainer to pour the into a glass . Then the new glass had something in it and after I asked for a new thing of oj the customer service flew out the door… she got my fresh juice and disappeared outside multiple times for long periods of time we watched our food come up in the window .. she was still outside once the food was served I was missing something she insured would be right up she goes back outside!!! So I start to eat time goes buy I’m half way done and my friend orders another thing that’s comes right out still not tenders she says nothing goes back outside.. so she’s outside for 15-20 I have to get attention of someone else to get my tenders! And they apologized and the tenders was on the house so we continue sitting talking mind you she never asked how was the food or if we was good just stayed outside like she wasn’t at work. Then we had to get some one else to get us to go containers and even check us out.. the food was amazing but the bar tender and the service as a whole needs major improvements everybody should work as one if food is up and the servers not around send the food to the table! To ensure service is running move and food is not dying in the window.. if you see someone is not being checked on you do it! Cause that will help the business and you I would’ve tipped anybody that seen and acknowledged us throughout our experience but unfortunately we didn’t get that!“

“The place itself can be very mild or very wild, it just depends on the night and how it goes, that being said, dont be the guy who gets too hyper and is spilling people's drinks everywhere by acting crazy.

Drinks are minimum of $10 unless you get a beer which is not much less
Music is good but only on the second and sometimes 3rd floor, but thats just personal preference.
