The environment is laid back, easy & chill. And the view is spectacular on Michigan Ave. Grabbing a seat at the bar—no problem! You’ll be dazzled by the large selection of craft cocktails—that’s a view in it self! It tends to get crowded quick, so calling ahead or beating the crown is suggested but it’s sooo worth it. “We had a rehearsal dinner for 40 people at Sheilds in Detroit and it was the best experience ever! The food was wonderful, the atmosphere was great and the staff were so awesome!!! When we got there everything was set up for us and they were very welcoming. The manager Jason was great, and had everything running smoothly. The wait staff…shout out to L & D we’re phenomenal! “This was my first time here and it was absolutely amazing. I got a canzone and it was by far one of the best I've ever had. The breading was cooked perfectly, a little crunch and soft where it was supposed to, the cheese melted perfectly to a stringy consistency, there was a perfect ratio of pepperoni, mushrooms, sauce and cheese. The outside was coated with a tasty layer of garlic butter and parm. The staff was very happy and nice. I highly recommend going here and I'll be going back to try other menu items“

“Took my son to his first concert at Little Caesars Arena. The venue was amazing, the history of the Red Wings and Pistons everywhere.
The UWM market had a variety of food ranging from fresh salads to burgers. (which we got)
We had mezzanine seats and they were comfy.
$40 for a double cheese burger large fries and 2 pops, so be ready for that.“

I am a teacher and was looking for a local pizza place...and one of my students recommended this pizza place. What an amazing choice! We found a great deal online for a large pizza. Since I was ordering as a reward for a few students I asked them to double cut the slices and they easily accommodated my special request. The cheese was so good, the sauce was tasty and the kids gobbled up the pepperoni ?

Extra toppings are extra $ Fresh Dough You can see them make your pizza (which gave me a sense of relief especially during covid) Brick Oven cooked! Sooo clean! They also have b.y.o (build your own) salad! Cons: Its only 1 size... some may see this as a downfall, but for 1 person the size they sell is perfect. If it's more than just you, you simply can just get additional pizzas! A friend of mine told me he hates chain pizza, after tasting Flamz, I totally see what he means! “This particular Bellacino's is located on 7 Mile and Conant in Detroit. It's located inside of a liquor store on the corner. And anytime I go over there there's nothing but a bunch of men hanging out in the parking lot. Asking for money. But I go there because it's the closest one to me. Their food my favorite grinder is the Chicago steak, it is so delicious. There's a white guy that works behind the counter he is such a nice guy he is very respectful. The store looks very clean on the inside where they prepare the food“

Perfect amount of burger cheese, pickles and condiments. I ate one last night and was overwhelmed with its flavor. “When you have a strenuous and tedious day at the doctors treatments etcetera you need a a quick place to find a pickle upper to start your day off with or help with a long day because you have to do maybe 7 test that day - the aroma will guide you straight to Papa John's Pizza at the neck of the main floor lobby. Worst day i had, ordered a small cheese with pepperoni pizza with cajun crust (very good, gently crisp crusts and just enough cajun so 10/10) and a 2L of soda through Uber Eats, Didnt get the soda i wanted , they were out & i guess the uber guy disregarded my note on what to replace it with. I called, even though slightly tense (sorry) the guy was super kind over phone, apparently this Happys Pizza is closer than i thought so i walked to get it replaced and still was super kind, even offered a pie slice. “Used to really enjoy the ambiance of the Greektown location and its proximity to all the things nearby, all the restaurants, shops and casino, but it was closed in 2020 due to Covid. I now use their E Jefferson location in Rivertown, which is much smaller and more for carryout. Same quality pizzas though. As to the pizzas, while you can get thin crust and round, the real star is their phenomenal deep dish Chicago style to die for! I think it's so good, it outdoes any Chicago pizza joint, including my favorite, Lou Malnatti's, which is saying alot. Of their signature pizzas, I most like their V.I.P., Three Cheese w Spinach {including optional mushrooms) and their Meats pizza. An advantage of PP"s deep dish seems to be their mixing the ingredients rather than layering them ala the Chicago custom. I find the toppings nearly all in each bite. With Chicago layering, you can get a mouthful, say, of sausage over the other ingredients. I have not noticed such layering in the PP version.. The toppings are fairly sized, not scrawny. No cutting corners. Cost is $20-40, S-L. Their sauce, the soul of any pizza, is excellent, not too sweet. They got it perfect. This is the Rolls Royce of Chicago style pizzas.“

The calzone was flavorful, juicy and very very close to the calzone I ate at least once a week from hungry howies before they discontinued it . It was full of content and not hollow at all .
