“My husband and I saw a review of Sicily's, and wanted to try it. It did not disappoint! We got the deep dish, and an order of meatballs, for take-out. It was an hour drive to get home. I had a bite of it while it was cold, and it was super good! I put the rest of the piece in the air fryer, and it was amazing. The sauce is fresh tasting, and the crust was crispy on the bottom, and chewy in the middle. The cheese on the edge was slightly brown, and crisp, just the way I like it. This was absolutely the BEST pizza I've ever had, and I've had a lot in my almost 65 years! Meatballs? Another best ever! Tender and so much flavor, with a good amount of marinara, so that every last meatball has as much as you could want. It was DEFINITELY worth the trip, and well worth the money! I would be in so much trouble if I lived closer, but I would do it again in a heartbeat! And to top it off, the Chef/Manager was SO nice and friendly! We had a very nice chat with him about the sourdough, and the restaurant, and how much he loves what he does. And you can tell! I highly recommend trying this place, they are about 1 block off of the freeway, and easy to get to.“

“My friend and I had lunch at Coriander Kitchen and Farm yesterday 6/23. We came back because we enjoyed our first visit last year so much! However, at this visit the food was not so good. I ordered fish and chips and my fish was overcooked and the french fries were not hot. My friend ordered smelt which were awful and greasy which we sent back. We asked for lemon which never came to the table and our waiter seem to be the only one there and they were busy so I don't think we got the attention that we were due. I know this establishment can do better, so I will be going back. But yesterday's service and food were awful.“

“My sister and I were running late for the airport, we totally forgot to factor in Detroit pizza takes like 30 minutes. But we couldn't leave Detroit without trying it! The M&T gentleman at the front was kind enough to offer us a soon to be ready cheese pizza! It was either cheese or pepperoni which was perfect because I love a nice and simple cheese pizza. We just needed a quick snack, a girl lunch so we asked for one slice, split in half. I dropped tomato sauce all over my pants biting into it...it was worth it. “The food was great and the service was outstanding. It was my wife's birthday and our first time here, so we had high hopes. Unfortunately, her steak came out overcooked, and while the kitchen did recook it correctly, the timing put a damper on the evening — I ended up eating my meal alone while we waited for hers. The waiter and manager were both very gracious about it and took some money off the bill, which we appreciated. Still, having to eat separately while her food was redone took away from what should have been a special night“

“Oh MAN Rocco's is the place I have searched for in vain until last year when I tried them for the first time. Since that first meatball sub I have had almost every sandwich on the menu and so far not one has disappointed! Today I had the Corner Deli and was transported to Italian paradiso! In case you non-Italians did not know, ciabatta is the Italian baguette and Rocco's bakes many fresh loaves several times per day! Usually it is still warm from the oven even if you get a cold sandwich! There is no better sandwich bread in my progenic-Italian opinion! They are in Midtown on Cass just East of Mack. Try them if you have yet to do so. You will thank the gods!“

“Originally from Michigan but now live in Florida. Went to Detroit for the weekend to attend Red Wings games. Looked for perch dinners and found Andrew’s. Absolutely awesome perch with a generous portion. Loved the atmosphere of the old time era. Staff exceptionally friendly as was the owner. Would definitely recommend this place and can’t wait to return. What I liked was the minimal breading so you have the true taste of perch. This is by far the place to go if you love perch.“

“I had a wonderful experience at Planted Detroit picking up pansies for my wife. The flowers were absolutely beautiful and freshly prepared by the time I arrived — you could tell real care went into them. I had the pleasure of chatting with Darrion from operations, who was incredibly kind and helpful while they were putting the order together. It's rare to find that kind of genuine, friendly service these days.

I also got to try one of their salads, and I was impressed — super fresh, delicious, and packaged so compactly that it was easy to take on the go. Everything about this place reflects a team that truly takes pride in what they do.

I am a teacher and was looking for a local pizza place...and one of my students recommended this pizza place. What an amazing choice! We found a great deal online for a large pizza. Since I was ordering as a reward for a few students I asked them to double cut the slices and they easily accommodated my special request. The cheese was so good, the sauce was tasty and the kids gobbled up the pepperoni ?

The chicken plates have definitely increased in price. They are now $22 and include waffles fries (large takout container full), white meat chicken, yellow rice, and the pita bread. “First time going to a chic-fil-a, the drive through was set up so faster order are not held up as much if they get stuck behind a bigger order, I liked that there was an actual person with a tablet that took my order and all the staff were helpful and very friendly. The food was fresh and to be honest I don't think I can say this is fast food, it's just good food.
