“Haven't been in a while since I moved out the neighborhood. But food was always great, service above reproach, prices were reasonable and great menu selections. Owners and staff were always friendly and appreciative. I could go for a full slab rib dinner or smothered pork chop dinner. With collard greens, Mac n cheese, cornbread and a large kool-aid mixed.“

“My friend and I had lunch at Coriander Kitchen and Farm yesterday 6/23. We came back because we enjoyed our first visit last year so much! However, at this visit the food was not so good. I ordered fish and chips and my fish was overcooked and the french fries were not hot. My friend ordered smelt which were awful and greasy which we sent back. We asked for lemon which never came to the table and our waiter seem to be the only one there and they were busy so I don't think we got the attention that we were due. I know this establishment can do better, so I will be going back. But yesterday's service and food were awful.“

“The BBQ wings are so good! A bit dry but the seasoning definitely makes up for it. The sides are bomb too, great Mac and cheese, yams, and baked beans. The greens are flavorful but a tad bit on the salty side. The banana pudding is delicious too. Definitely going back!“

“Great food! Been here many times, and always have a good experience. However, they charged gratuity on a party of 4, so be careful. I tipped on top of their 16% added into my bill. Waitress of course didn’t mention the added cost and I didn’t notice until after the fact. Seemed odd for such a small party, but feel they should warn us while paying“

Walking in you notice how delicious everything smells, how clean everything is and how friendly everyone who works here is. The food is top notch. The breadding on the catfish fritters made my mouth water, the greens made me want to write home, the mac and cheese was perfectly cooked and the meatloaf was so tender and tasty. Then the dessert! Peach cobbler that made me make obscene noises, the creamy vanilla scoop and the amazing red pop sorbet were bursting with flavorful perfection. I highly recommend going here and trying everything.“

“I was referred over to this place by a friend as we were discussing good bbq. I’m originally from the Midwest but spent my formative years in the Deep South. And hadn’t had great bbq in a while. Came this way to taste their so called amazing Beef Ribs but when I got here they were sold out so I settled for what I found out to be one the BEST DAMN CATFISH SANDWICHES I HAVE EVER HAD!!! (Yeah I know it wasn’t the bbq we had talked about). So I decided to come back because of the dang catfish sandwich. MAN I AM SO DAMN GLAD I DID!!!! Their BEEF RIBS AND RIB TIPS ARE FREAKING DELICIOUS!!!! A very friendly, clean well run environment. Every time I am in town I stop in here and it’s a hike because I stay in the Canton, MI area when I’m in town. Can’t say enough good things about BBQ Central. Everyone needs to try this spot. You will NOT BE DISAPPOINTED!!!“

“All the way from Indy we love y’all! I’ve visited plenty of times and brought one of my daughters this time! She agrees this menu beats all the bbq in Indy. She especially enjoyed the staff! “A group of about 10 of us stopped in on a Monday for happy hour - there was a nice crowd, music was playing, sparsely decorated. They have a great patio right on Woodward which is why we came, but it ended up raining. Although only one bartender was working, cocktails came out fast and tasted fresh and good. They have an interesting n/a mocktail made with homemade cordial and soda - I didn't try it this time, but it's good to know they have an option other than soda and lime. The aperol spritz looked good as did the spicy margarita. A good place to catch a quick drink.

They have an interesting food menu - sushi during the day and late night, and bbq for dinner. Maybe a little odd, but I remember when this place was Oslo and had the best sushi, so maybe it makes sense? I'll have to come back to try the food. Everyone working has also been really friendly, so I'd come back. An excellent location if you work downtown.“

“I was a 1st timer walking in. I had my mind and spirit on some REAL down south type of BBQ..I came across this place. When I walked in there was an old school gentleman whom just received his take out. I asked him was this his first time as well and he said noooooo he been coming for over 10yrs!! He suggested the ribs and potatoe salad. Now I'm VERY skeptical when it comes to people potato salad..but let me tell you..THEE BEST POTATO SALAD from a restaurant!! And them dog gone RIBS so tender and flavorful!! You can taste the real grill smoked taste..and the sauce is AMAZING!!! I will be back TODAY I had told my Mom about Nunn's and I'm bringing her here. Great customer service!!! I met the Son of the man that started it all. Keep the legacy going. It's a blessing to come across awesome food let alone SERVICE..very welcoming. Thank you“

“A tmi review but genuinely the service was amazing. Worst day i had, ordered a small cheese with pepperoni pizza with cajun crust (very good, gently crisp crusts and just enough cajun so 10/10) and a 2L of soda through Uber Eats, Didnt get the soda i wanted , they were out & i guess the uber guy disregarded my note on what to replace it with. I called, even though slightly tense (sorry) the guy was super kind over phone, apparently this Happys Pizza is closer than i thought so i walked to get it replaced and still was super kind, even offered a pie slice. On the verge of tears on xmas eve with the worst day but the service was so kind, and the pizza was good and good service needs to be acknowledged and appreciated so 10/10.“

The calzone was flavorful, juicy and very very close to the calzone I ate at least once a week from hungry howies before they discontinued it . It was full of content and not hollow at all . “Theirs not to many places around the city that offer a good, hardy and delicious New Orlean style seafood gumbo but, I happened to be driving around on the westside and was hungry and decided to give a new place I'd heard about from a friend. The spot is called "Dem Noles Bois"...It's been awhile since I had a good gumbo. I've got to tell you, to my surprise, this was the best gumbo that I’ve had in years definitely five stars. I definitely will be back again...I want to try the BBQ Ribs, the fried chicken wings, and for sure, the fried shrimp dinner. P.s., the Banana Pudding was on point“
